Chapter 192
Chapter 192
[Amelia's POV]
The pressure inside me built to an unbearable peak, every nerve ending in my body singing under Alex's relentless touch. His thick cock filled me completely, hitting spots that made me gasp and cry out with each powerful thrust. The combination of his length moving inside me and his fingers working my clit pushed me right to the edge.
"Alex!" I screamed as the orgasm crashed over me like a tidal wave.
My legs gave out completely, trembling violently as waves of pleasure rolled through my body. I would have collapsed if not for Alex's strong arms holding me up against the shower wall. My inner muscles clenched around him, and I felt him groan deeply behind me.
"Fuck, Amelia," he growled, his voice rough with need. "Your pussy is squeezing me so tight."
A few more powerful thrusts and Alex reached his own peak, his grip on my hips tightening as he came with a low, primal growl. We stayed pressed together for a moment, both breathing hard, the hot water still cascading around us.
"That was..." I started, but couldn't find the words.
"Perfect," Alex finished, pressing a gentle kiss to my shoulder. "Absolutely fucking perfect."
He carefully helped me turn around, steadying me when my legs proved unsteady. The shower had been intense, leaving both of us thoroughly satisfied but exhausted. We finished washing each other with tender touches, the urgency replaced by gentle affection.
Now that was a productive shower, Ashley purred contentedly in my mind.
Shut up, I thought back, but I couldn't hide my smile.
---
I woke to the soft gray light of dawn filtering through Alex's bedroom windows. The massive bed felt cold beside me, and I immediately knew Alex wasn't there. My body ached pleasantly from last night's activities, and I stretched languidly before sitting up.
The sound of Alex's deep voice drifted from the living room, speaking in that commanding Alpha tone he used for Pack business. I could catch fragments of his conversation.
"...need those contracts reviewed before the full moon ceremony... No, that's not acceptable... I don't care what Edward thinks about the timeline..."
I slipped out of bed, grabbing one of Alex's button-down shirts from the closet. It hung loose on my frame, hitting mid-thigh. As I padded barefoot toward the living room, Alex's scent surrounded me from the fabric.
He stood with his back to me, already dressed in a perfectly tailored charcoal suit despite the early hour. His hair was slightly damp from his shower, and he held his phone pressed to his ear with one hand while gesturing with the other.
"Good morning, my Omega," he said without turning around, his voice dropping to that possessive, gentle tone reserved just for me.
The mark on my neck tingled at his words, that invisible bond between us humming with warmth. He finished his call and turned to face me, those amber eyes immediately heating as they took in my appearance.
"Sorry about that," he said, slipping his phone into his jacket pocket. "Pack emergency. Had to deal with some contract disputes before they escalated."
My gaze drifted to the dining table, where he'd laid out what looked like a feast. Fresh fruit, pastries, eggs benedict, coffee that smelled amazing. He'd been busy this morning.
"You made all this?" I asked, touched by the effort.
"Had it delivered," he admitted with a slight smile. "But I arranged everything myself. Thought you might be hungry after last night."
Heat crept up my cheeks at the reminder. "Thank you. This is incredible."
We sat down to eat, and I savored every bite while Alex watched me with obvious satisfaction. But reality started creeping back in as I realized what today meant.
"I need to go back to my apartment," I said reluctantly. "Get changed for the Black Gold shoot today."
Alex's fork paused halfway to his mouth. "I could drive you. Take you to the studio."
I shook my head immediately. "Alex, no. We can't show up together. People will talk."
His jaw tightened, that familiar frustration flashing across his features. "So what? Let them talk."
"It's not that simple." I set down my coffee cup, meeting his eyes. "You know what would happen if your father found out we're... whatever we are. And if the cast and crew think I'm only getting opportunities because I'm sleeping with the Alpha—"
"You're not just sleeping with me," Alex interrupted, his voice sharp. "You're my mate. My marked Omega."
"But they don't know that," I said quietly. "All they'll see is another actress using her body to get ahead."
Alex leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair. His scent carried notes of irritation and resignation.
"I hate this," he said finally. "Hiding what you mean to me. Pretending we're nothing."
My heart clenched at the pain in his voice. "I hate it too. But maybe... maybe someday we won't have to hide."
"Someday," he repeated, like the word tasted bitter. "When? After my father steps down? After the Pack accepts that their Alpha chose an Omega with no bloodline connections?"
The rawness in his question made my chest tight. I reached across the table to cover his hand with mine.
"When you're ready," I said simply. "When we're both ready to face whatever comes."
Alex turned his hand palm up, threading our fingers together. "Promise me something, Amelia."
"What?"
"Don't let anyone make you feel like you don't deserve what you've earned. Your talent got you here, not our relationship."
I squeezed his hand, feeling the sincerity in his words through our bond. "I promise."
---
An hour later, I sat in my luxury trailer at the Silver Moon Pack's private studio lot, watching Oliver work his magic with makeup brushes. He moved with practiced efficiency, not asking any questions about my three-day absence from set. Professional as always.
Emily, my assistant, was less subtle.
"Amelia, thank God you're back," she said, bustling around the trailer. "We were all worried. Are you feeling better? You look... different. Good different. Like you're glowing."
I caught my reflection in the mirror. She wasn't wrong. My skin had a healthy flush, my eyes were brighter, and there was something relaxed about my posture that hadn't been there before.
"I'm feeling much better," I told her honestly. "Actually, I feel fantastic. These few days off were exactly what I needed."
"Well, whatever you did, keep doing it," Emily said with a grin. "You look amazing."
Oliver finally stepped back, admiring his work. "Perfect. You're ready."
I stood up, smoothing down my costume. Through the trailer window, I could see the bustling activity of the film set. Crew members moved equipment, actors ran lines, and Director Joseph stood in the center of it all like the conductor of an orchestra.
Joseph's voice boomed across the lot. "Places, everyone! Let's make some movie magic!"
