The rogues attack
The guards at the pack house were completely taken by surprise at the attack lounged at them by the rogue wolves.
The rogues came in from everywhere at once, giving the guards limited time to prepare for the attack, causing chaos.
“The pack house is under attack!” The head guard sent a message via the mind link to the alpha.
“Fuck!” The alpha jerked to his feet, getting himself and the guards around prepared for the incoming attack.
“Whos the leader?!” Alpha Louis asked the head guard via the mind link.
“No idea alpha, but they are all rogue wolves.” The guard narrowly dodged the claws of a wolf that lounged at him.
“I and my men here will hold them off while you prepare.”
“Beta Theo! Go with your men to the other entrance and block them off. Tell the other guards to take the women and children to safety.” Alpha Louis instructed via the mind link to Beta Theo
“Copied Alpha.” Beta Theo said, shifting to his wolf
Alpha Louis shifted to his wolf, ready to take on the rogue wolves which invaded the pack house of the werewolves.
Alpha Louis’s fur spiked along his body, his ears pinned back as his head raised up high and took a deep breath. A low growl rumbled from between his clenched teeth.
He was going to get those scrawny bastards. No one was getting in between his pack and their prey! He was going to tear them apart, and if he couldn't do that then he would rip them limb from limb. His muscles tensed, readying for action as he waited.
His claws clicked together with every beat of his heart as the adrenaline flooded through his system. Alpha Louis's eyes glowed gold as he prepared himself for battle.
The first wolf ran forward out of nowhere, jumping at the alpha with its paws extended. It was too close, too fast for him to react. With an angry snarl the alpha pounced, sending the wolf flying into a slab before slamming a paw down on his neck.
His fangs snapped as his head was forced back to expose his throat. The alpha ripped his claw back as the wolf fell onto his side. Alpha Louis's fangs sunk deep into flesh, tearing through it with ease. The blood pooled around him.
The other wolves were coming out of the shadows now. Their jaws opened wide as they lunged forward. Alpha Louis didn't give them any warning before leaping backwards away from the onslaught, ripping out chunks of meat and tossing them aside. He could sense that there were many more than just these few. His ears twitched, trying to find out where their leader was.
"Come out and fight me you cowards!" Alpha Louis growled, turning to face the new threat.
He had never been this outnumbered and out gunned before.
In his rage he hadn't seen the approaching shadow until it crashed into his side with enough force to send him stumbling back. Alpha Louis landed hard on his backside, his front legs still under him as he struggled to get his bearings again.
The shadow loomed over him threateningly. The wolf growled in response, baring sharp, pointed canines. Alpha Louis narrowed his eyes, feeling an itch start in his mind. This wolf had a very powerful smell; strong and familiar.
A shiver went down the alpha's spine. This wolf reminded him so much of himself. How similar they were… yet they could not be.
Beta Theo and his men set themselves at the entrance to fight off any intruding wolf, when Clare came over and joined them.
He gave a nod at Beta Theo, as they begin fighting off the rogue wolves that had made their way from the first guards barricade.
Not realizing that more rogues had gone through a secret entrance no one but those in the pack house knew about, going in their numbers to where Alpha Louis had laid in wait for them.
The training skills had been of use at the moment, as Clare used it to his best advantage, fighting off the wolves that lounged at him.
He wondered how Evans was doing, recalling what had occurred earlier. He hoped Evans had survived it, as being stabbed with silver was extremely dangerous. He had gotten a first hand experience when Hazel had binded with silver laced ropes.
He turned to see Beta Theo had a lot of rogues on him, trying to tackle them, he immediately ran to him, lending a hand, as he helped fight off the wolves on him, unaware of what was going on in the Alpha’s chambers.
Alpha Louis eyes widen in shock as he recognized the wolf to be his son Ryan.
“You seem surprise Father.” Ryan said via the mind link, as he smiled at the alpha, circling him alongside.
"I will finish what I started!" Ryan roared as he launched himself at Alpha Louis once again. The two began fighting as the others circled them. Ryan attacked fiercely, trying to keep him occupied while the others circled and tried to flank them.
They circled one another, moving in a dance of death. Alpha Louis kept his head lowered, focused solely on keeping Ryan at bay while dodging his blows. It only lasted for a few moment. Ryan lunged forward to attack as soon as they locked eyes. Alpha Louis quickly jumped back, narrowly avoiding him. They circled each other like two feral cats, waiting for the right opportunity. As if by instinct both sprang at each other at the same time, biting down viciously on each other's necks. Blood flew. Alpha Louis felt a sharp pain on his left shoulder, and Ryan was knocked off balance by the blow. Ryan hit the ground, groaning, but managed to get back to his feet within moments. Alpha Louis growled at his son, backing away. Ryan charged at him again, aiming straight for his exposed neck. Alpha Louis dodged. Ryan stumbled, falling onto his hands and knees. The alpha leapt over Ryan, heading straight for his next opponent. Ryan scrambled to his feet, glaring murderously at the alpha. Ryan leaped towards him again, but this time Alpha Louis saw it coming and leapt out of the way.
Ryan skidded across the ground as he turned towards the alpha.
The alpha watched as Ryan got to his feet.
Ryan smirked wickedly as he charged at him, raising a hand. Alpha Louis was ready for him. The alpha grabbed Ryan's fist midair. Ryan was sent stumbling back. Ryan threw himself forward once more. Alpha Louis easily sidestepped him. Both boys stopped. Alpha Louis stared at his son with a blank expression. Ryan smirked, raising his hand up once more. Alpha Louis was ready for him. Ryan threw his arm forward, letting his hand fall to the side instead of throwing forward with all the strength he could muster. Instead, he used his other arm to bring his fist forward, making sure it would connect with Alpha Louis’s nose.
As it happened, Ryan's fist had connected with Alpha Louis's jaw instead. Alpha Louis stumbled backward, landing hard on his rear end. Alpha Louis looked at Ryan in shock. Ryan grinned at him as he approached. Alpha Louis backed away, putting as much space between them as possible, despite how little space there was left. Ryan walked past him, stopping just short of him. Alpha Louis backed further away. Ryan chuckled maliciously. Alpha Louis froze, staring wide eyed at his son.
Alpha Louis slowly turned around and faced his son fully. Ryan's expression became even more sinister when he realized the alpha was staring at him. Alpha Louis stood stock still, fear written in his features. Ryan took advantage of this and stepped closer.
He held up a hand and aimed it directly at Alpha Louis’s forehead.
Alpha Louis closed his eyes.
Suddenly he felt pressure on the left side of his face, as if someone had smacked him. When he opened his eyes he was met with red filled with anger.
Ryan snarled at him and punched him square in the chest. Alpha Louis doubled over in pain.
Ryan reached down
“why are you doing this?” Alpha Louis asked, growling in pain, as he was crouched down to the ground.
“Are you really asking why?” Ryan asked, still circling him.
“Is the reason not obvious already?”
“You know I do not have the power to choose who’d be my next alpha.” Alpha Louis managed out.
“It’s all in the hands of the moon goddess.”
“Does it look like I care?!” Ryan growled, still circling him.
“Ryan?!” Clare yelled at the scene before him, running in his wolf form towards Ryan and his father the Alpha, when more rogue wolves from all sides blocked him from getting to them.
“What the hell is going on here?!” he growled, panting heavily as he was restrained from moving any further by the group of rogues. Ryan glared furiously at his father, then at the crowd surrounding him. He let out another low growl, before transforming into human form.
“I want you gone!” Alpha Louis screamed, trying to stand up, “you don’t belong here!”
“Shut up!!” Ryan shouted at him.
“How dare you?!” Alpha Louis bellowed angrily.
“You have no idea what you did, did you!? You have no idea what it’s been like for me since I was born!” Ryan roared.
“Why don’t you go ask her! Ask your precious moon goddess!” Alpha Louis shot back.
Ryan clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. His eyes darkened and his pupils dilated.
“Ives has always been your favorite. You and hers.” Ryan pointed at the Luna who was visibly shaking, as she was brought out by one of is rogue wolves.
“While I and Clare got the least love from both of you!”
“Don’t you dare say that, you all were treated equally!” The Luna exclaimed, pulling against the rogue who held her back.
“You do not have the right to speak here. You even went as far as sabotaging Ives relationship just for your selfish interest! Though it worked well for me.” Ryan laughed out. “To some point though.” He glared at the Luna then focused his attention back on the Alpha.
“I wouldn’t do that if I was you.” He warned Beta Theo, who he felt coming close to attacking him, making him draw back.
“You are nothing compared to Ives!” The Luna yelled from where she stood.
“Oh please.” Ryan rolled his eyes.
“Your half demon son you mean?”
He watched how both the Alpha and Luna’s eyes widen in shock at his revelation.
“You thought I’d not find out? I know what you both did.” Ryan stated.
“So don’t come acting all righteous here, when you’re not anything close to it!”
“How, how did you get to know?” The Luna asked in shock.
“Let’s say, I’ve been frolicking with the devil.” He smiled, pulling up his cloak hood over his head.
“What exactly do you want?” Alpha Louis asked. “Don’t tell me you’re working hand in hand with the demons to wipe off the werewolves race?” Pain was deeply laced in his voice.
“So much faith you have in me.” Ryan laughed out. “By the way, where’s your precious Ives when you need him the most?” He asked, staring at each from the alpha, to the Luna, to Clare and Beta Theo.
“We can settle this all like a family we are. End this madness now Ryan!” Alpha Louis held on his bleeding side, still trying to salvage the situation.
“The time for family reunion is over. It’s time to take what’s rightfully mine.” He circled the Alpha, causing the guards of the pack, to stay alert, to strike when the alpha gives a go ahead.
“You have two options Alpha. You either follow us quietly, or we take you the other way.” Ryan said.
“Over my—“
“No!” The Luna screamed, as Ryan slashed through the Alpha’s neck.
