Chapter 76 Only if you make a sound
Uriel's POV
"So are you guys a thing now?" Chloe asked, zipping our little travel bag.
My body froze. My hand hung mid-air, inches away from touching my phone.
I dreaded that question so much.
But that wasn't what made my body go autopilot.
It was the fact that Ryder wasn't that type of person.
But did I want us to be a thing?
Hell yes.
"Anybody can fuck without being a thing. Come on, there are friends with benefits." Kathie butted in, putting my phone in my hand, "you're welcome."
My eyes fluttered. My grip tightened around my phone.
"Sorry, i didn't mean to make you feel weird about the whole thing." Chloe pouted at me.
My head shook frantically, "no, no. It's not - I just - it's fine."
"Just be careful, Uri." Chloe's eyes held something dark. Then she turned away immediately, swallowing hard.
Something was wrong with her.
"The boys are here!" Kathie yelled from the window. She turned to us smiling widely, "don't get pregnant girls. God, I can't believe I'm saying this to Uri now."
"No shit." I muttered under my breath, tucking my phone in my small purse.
"Lance would freak out if he hears this." Chloe chuckled lowly, carrying one of the bags.
"Jesus, no. We can't tell him yet."
They both looked at each other and then at me, "totally agree!" They said simultaneously.
"Girl! The boys are here." Mrs Lauren yelled from downstairs.
"We know!" We all yelled, rushing downstairs.
As we approached the door, my heart began to beat fast.
After the day we had sex, I chickened out and left his house in such a hurry. When he called, I always gave excuses.
God, I didn't know if he was going to tell me it was a mistake. I didn't want to hear it.
I have even refused to check my message box because I was scared of seeing his name sitting there, waiting to be replied.
Gosh, no.
Exhaling heavily, I pushed myself out of the door. The girls had ran to their men, leaving Ryder and I standing feets apart, staring at each other.
Damn, it was so awkward.
I bit my lips, stopping it from quivering. My nails dug deep into my bag strap, my eyes fluttering
Ryder's eyes were normal - not cold or deadly. He took the first step, encouraging me to take mine too. When we were close enough to feel the heat of our skin, he did something unexpected.
His hands cupped my face, leaning until his lips crashed against mine. He moaned throatily as he sucked on my lower lips, grazing small of his teeth before he pulled away.
"Hey, you." He whispered, locking eyes with mine.
"Hey."
"I believe your phone got bad after that day, yeah?" He held my chin up. I swallowed hard. "Don't lie to me, Kinky."
"I... I just thought you were regretting it. You grew cold after a while and -"
My eyes fell on his jawline, watching it clench. He pulled away, tucking his hand into his pocket.
"Let's just have fun, okay?" He shrugged.
"Yeah?"
"You guys coming?!" Peter yelled from the driver's seat.
"You're not fucking driving, Peter!" Ryder yelled, walking to meet Peter. "I'm not trying to end my life now cos I let you take over the wheels. Bro, no."
My lips folded into my mouth, my eyes falling to the ground. God please take me now.
Reluctantly, I peeled my feet off the ground, marching towards the car and into the backseat. I plugged my earpiece in my ear and shut my eyes.
We were going over to Mason's house for that weekend thing we talked about.
This was the last time we'd be actively hanging out as a team before the last school hassle.
But somehow, deep down, I felt like weird.
Cold.
I sensed something terrible.
My eyes snapped open when I felt a hand on my thigh. Ryder gave me a smile - one that didn't quite reach his eyes.
"You good?" He asked, his eyes roaming around my face.
"Yeah. Yeah, why not?" I managed to force a smile on my face.
"Cool."
He retreated his hand to himself. From the corner of my eyes, I caught the way he bounced his feet even while fiddling with his phone.
My phone pinged with an iMessage notification
New Message:
Ryder: Just so you know, my cock is hard as fuck.
My eyes snapped to his direction, my cheeks red.
New Message
Ryder: It's been whispering 'Uriel'. Do you know who that is?
A soft laughter escaped my lips. Swiftly, I covered my mouth with my palm.
"You think my situation is funny huh?" He shot me a playful glare.
"Unfortunately, Uriel can't help you here." I shrugged.
Not like I knew how to help him either.
"Oh she will." He muttered lowly, giving me a sinister look as he leaned close.
_
"Why try to have girls night when there are boys we could be ... You know." Kathie groaned from the soft fur mat that we spread on the ground.
No shit, Mason's house was big asf.
It was like 3 of my house in one.
It must feel really lonely being here by yourself.
"Girl, you're so dickmatized." Chloe chuckled before throwing cheese balls in her mouth.
"At least I'm not the one who has been acting all uptight and shit for days now." Kathie shot, rolling her eyes.
"That's so unrelated, Kathie. Besides, I was joking."
"I wasn't."
"What's your problem?"
Kathie sat up, frowning, "you weren't listening when I stated it? Or were you deaf?"
"I am not - I don't even know what you're talking about. You've been all about sex I feel like that's the only thing in your life that you care about. There's more to life than cocks."
"You're one to talk? You were the first to lose your virginity between us three. Don't come at me, girl." Kathie fired back.
"You came at me first!"
"Girls!" I yelled, my voice louder than intended. "Stop."
They both threw their faces elsewhere, frowning.
"We came to have a nice time. If this isn't working, we can always merge with the boys, you know. Maybe do something together? We talk things through, not fight." I turned to Chloe, "and if there's anything on your mind that you need to speak, you speak out. We're a team, remember?"
Chloe glanced at me, so fast I almost missed the guilt that shone in her eyes.
"Tell her." Kathie murmured. Chloe and I shot her a glare.
"Uhh...sorry to burst this little gossip group but it's movie time. You girls coming?"
"I don't know about anybody but I'm coming." Kathie was the first to jump up, following Peter out.
"Chloe..."
She stood up immediately, avoiding eye contact with me, "I'll go find something to drink and then meet you guys."
Sighing, I covered my face.
Taking my duvet with me, I dragged my feet to the living room. The boys had already set it all up. In fact, Kathie was already cuddled up in Mason's arm.
"Come here." Ryder raised his large sized duvet up, creating space for me in-between his legs.
Hmm...
Shyly, I tossed mine aside, entering under his. He wrapped his hand around me instantly, pressing my back to his chest.
"Pull the duvet to your neck." Ryder whispered in my ears, his hot air fanning my skin.
I did as I was told, my body growing hot already.
He trailed his hands gently, cupping my breast and then down until he was able to slip his hand under my top.
"We're going for an adventure. Like shark attacks. Let's try Thrash. It's a new movie anyway." Mason said, resuming the movie when everyone was seated... including Chloe.
"Relax, baby." Ryder cooed, pinching my nipples.
I gasped loudly, earning stares my way.
"I...I bit myself." I lied to adults. Yeah, I hope you got the hint.
They smirked, turning away.
"You have to be more careful." Ryder said in a sing song tone.
Before I could tell him how it was his fault and all, his hand cupped my sex, making me swallow my saliva hard.
Craning my neck, I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Every... Everybody is here."
He slipped his hand through the band of my short nighties, going past my undies until his finger found my clit.
"I know."
He circled his fingers around my clit, making me pant softly.
His fingers glided up and down my slit, slowly.
"You're always wet, baby. Wet for me." He whispered in my ear, grazing his teeth on my earlobe.
Heat pooled between my legs, my heart beating fast.
"They'll catch us." I managed to croak out.
His low chuckled rumbled. Then gently, he pushed his long slender finger inside, making my body jerk in response.
"Only if you make a sound, baby."
He slipped another finger in.
And then another, filling me up real bad.
"Oh my God!" I screamed. Subconsciously. Unintentionally.
