Chapter 72

“Okay, let’s focus on what we learned from the previous meeting,” Aryan said, breaking the silence. “We need to leverage the data we have and formulate a more aggressive approach.”

His team nodded in agreement, their spirits rising. The discussion flowed smoothly, brilliant ideas emerging one by one. They talked about product innovation, more effective marketing strategies, and how to attract investors. Everyone contributed, supporting and building each other up.

After a few hours of discussion, Aryan felt the need to divert his focus for a moment. He reached for his phone and decided to call Reyna, his wife. The sound of the phone ringing filled the room, and soon, Reyna’s soft voice was heard on the other end.

“Hello, honey! How are you?” Reyna asked in a cheerful tone, although Aryan could hear a hint of longing in her voice.

“I’m fine, Reyna. I'm a little tired, but everything is going according to plan. How about you and Steven?” Aryan replied, missing his wife’s voice and his son’s laughter.

“We’re fine. Steven misses his daddy a lot. He keeps asking when you’re coming home,” Reyna explained, and Aryan could just imagine his three-year-old son’s sweet smile.

“He must be so big now, huh? I can’t wait to see him again,” Aryan said, his heart filled with longing. “I just finished an important meeting. We’re planning a strategy for the future of the company.”

“Hopefully everything goes well, honey. I know you’re very dedicated,” Reyna encouraged. “Don’t forget to rest too.”

“Thank you, Reyna. I’ll try. Oh, what about Steven? Did he do anything funny again?” Aryan asked, eager to hear about his son.

“He just learned how to draw. He drew us as a family, and it was so cute! He even drew our cat, Max, in weird colors,” Reyna laughed, and Aryan could feel the happiness in her voice.

“I think I should bring some paints home for him. I want to see his work,” Aryan replied, missing those simple moments.

After a few minutes of chatting, Aryan felt more energized. He returned to the meeting room with renewed vigor, ready to face the challenges ahead. His team was still discussing, and Aryan rejoined with fresher ideas.

That night, they planned strategic steps that would take their company in a better direction. With their spirits high, they were ready to face the challenges ahead, and Aryan knew that behind it all, there was a family that was always supporting him.

As the meeting ended, Aryan walked out with a hopeful mind. He knew that every effort they made was not only for the company but also for the future of his family. With strong determination, he promised himself to not only be a successful businessman, but also a good husband and father.

That night, in the pouring rain, Aryan felt optimistic. He knew that this journey would not be easy, but with the support of his team and family, he was sure he could overcome every obstacle that lay ahead.

The following days were filled with increasingly stressful meetings. They met with various people from various backgrounds, each carrying different hopes and expectations. Aryan and Leon learned to adapt quickly, changing their approach according to the needs and desires of their business partners.

Finally, after several tiring days, they managed to complete all the scheduled meetings. With satisfactory results, they felt proud of their achievements. However, their journey was not over yet. They still had to prepare a report and presentation to present the results of the meeting to the team back home.

On their last night in Paris, Aryan and Leon decided to celebrate their success. They went to a restaurant famous for its French cuisine. While enjoying delicious food, they talked about their dreams and hopes for the future.

"We've come a long way, Leon. This is just the beginning," Aryan said excitedly. "I'm sure we'll achieve more together."

Leon smiled. "I believe that too, Aryan. We're a great team."

That night, under the starry Parisian sky, they celebrated their success and vowed to continue fighting for their dreams. With hearts full of hope, they prepared to return home and face the new challenges that awaited. Paris may be just a dot on the map, but the experiences and lessons they learned would be forever etched in their memories.

Reyna sat in the quiet living room, the only sound heard was Steven's small voice as he played with his toy cars. She stared out the window, watching the dark clouds hang in the sky. It had been almost a week since Aryan had been away in Paris on business, and even though she knew it was important, Reyna felt lonely. She missed her husband, their laughter and jokes, and the little moments that made her life more colorful.

To ward off boredom, Reyna tried various activities. She cooked new recipes, took care of plants in the garden, and even tried drawing. However, all of that felt empty without Aryan by her side. Steven, although cheerful and active, could not completely fill the emptiness Reyna felt.

One morning, after finishing breakfast, Reyna felt nauseous and dizzy. She thought it was just the effect of lack of sleep and stress from taking care of Steven alone. However, the discomfort continued. In a state of confusion, she decided to take a pregnancy test that she had kept in the cupboard for a long time. Reyna did not expect much, but when the results came out, her heart beat fast. Two clear red lines. She was pregnant again.

Mixed feelings hit Reyna. On the one hand, she felt happy and grateful for this news. Since childhood, she had always wanted a big family, and the presence of a sibling for Steven would be a great thing. However, on the other hand, she also felt anxious. How would she take care of two small children alone? Moreover, Aryan had just started his promising career.

Reyna decided to keep this news for Aryan. She wanted to give him an unforgettable surprise when her husband returned from Paris. Every day, she imagined Aryan's reaction when he heard this happy news. She imagined a big smile on his face, a warm hug, and maybe tears of joy streaming down his cheeks.

Days passed, and Reyna tried to stay positive. She started planning everything to welcome Aryan's arrival. She made a list of things to prepare, from preparing a room for the new baby to planning a special dinner to celebrate the news. Every time she saw Steven, she felt more excited. His little boy would be a great big brother.

After two long and longing weeks, Aryan finally returned home. Reyna and Steven were so happy to see him home. They celebrated Aryan's return with a small party at home.

"Finally we are together again," said Reyna while hugging Aryan tightly.

"I missed you so much, honey," replied Aryan while kissing Reyna's forehead.

They sat together on the porch of the house, enjoying the beautiful sunset while talking about everything. Reyna looked at Aryan with love.

"I am so grateful to have you in my life, Aryan. You are everything to me," Reyna said sincerely.

"I also can't imagine my life without you, Reyna. You are the light in my darkness," Aryan replied while holding Reyna's hand tightly.
