ALLEN
"I admit to my crime. I contributed to this problem by allowing her to sway me. I am a man after all, and such was bound to happen with a woman like Fiona," I explained openly to the media, who came over to speak to me at the mansion.
My mother had refused to share her thoughts on the matter, so as the Alpha and her son, I decided to step out and speak. After all, this case involves me. It's my job to defend myself before my people, and do what is right.
"Fiona isn't pure. She showed me this during the Luna's hunt, and I was amazed that such a lady was among the game, trying to be Wolf Fall's future Luna," I said, faking concern towards the problem.
"I saw the comments my people made under that video and… it made me upset. Many believed my mother and I helped Fiona in winning the games. Another claimed she was among the last damsels to compete in the last round, and felt something happened to her that led to her lose. Some called my mother a deceiver! Really? Your Queen a deceiver?!" I vented out, glaring at them.
"Accusations upon accusations! You all think we cheated to make Fiona my chosen mate?! No?!" I answered strongly, so they'd see the seriousness in me.
"We didn't help her to win this game and my mother has no hand in it! Your Queen showed every damsels love and took care of them like they were her own daughters!" I defended my mother, clearing her name.
"She took her time to train every maidens that took part in the hunt, so as to bring forth your future Queen. She didn't help Fiona to win the game. She did no such thing!"
"Alright, we've heard. But the video clearly shows your closeness to her, Alpha. Even if the Queen had no hand in this, doesn't that say you helped your lover?" Someone pointed out, pinning the blame on me.
And do they think I'll allow my name to be dragged?
"Fiona might have seduced me in the past and gotten the pleasure she needed, but I showed no interest in her desire to be my Luna! She kept on trying to make herself the only one worthy of the throne. She wanted me to get rid of the others, but I made it clear to her that she won't buy my vote because it's unjust," I shared, finally getting through my people step by step.
"Fiona is a crazy girl. I'm sure she tried to get closer to my mother by acting all holy and sweet. And Just like that damsel said… Maybe someone, or should I say Fiona, did something to the others so she could win. I mean… You have seen the way she fights her opponents within a minute, right? I'm always surprised." I shrugged, pointing that out.
"That's true."
"You know, I've been wondering how she does that.
"Does that mean she has been cheating from the start?"
They all mumbled, finally thinking the way I expected them to. I have succeeded in diverting all problems to Fiona. They will all feel she's the bad one here and not me.
"But I still accept my mistakes. She emerged as the winner of the hunt, and as the Alpha, I broke a rule of the land and the heavens by allowing Fiona to tame me into making love to her before the mate bonding ceremony. So…" I sighed innocently, giving them the permission to decide what happens next. "You have every right to make your decision concerning Fiona and I. My mother the Queen, will take it upon herself to fulfil your wish. Good day."
I left, returning back to the mansion while my guards prevented the people from asking any further questions. I have given them the go ahead to decide my fate as well as Fiona's.
And I have full believe that things will favor me.
"This is indeed your doing, Goddess. You knew that Fiona wasn't meant for me, that's why you made our secret open to everyone. You do listen to your children's voice." Joy filled my heart. I have been waiting for such a moment to come, and it's finally here.
I went back to my room with my mind set on the future. I couldn't wait to hear from the people of Wolf Falls.
I would have just said it right there that I reject Fiona and let it end once and for all, but they'd think I'm being unfair with my judgement, since I'm also involved.
"Let them decide," I smiled, about to lay in bed when my door came wide open with force, causing me to get up and meet my mother's raging gaze.
"How could you? Allen, how could you?!" She roared, dashing at me with speed and grabbing my neck with a strong hold.
I didn't fight her off but gazed into her eyes, as she yelled at me for stepping out to say all those things about her favorite girl. "How could you say all those things about Fiona?! Do you know what you've done?!"
"I know I saved your image from getting tarnished by that Prozzie."
"ALLEN!" She shouted, pinning me down on the bed, and lifting her hand to hit me on the face. But she paused.
I looked into my mother's eyes and saw how it switched from human to wolf. Even her claws came out long, almost reaching for my skin. That's when she stopped, fixing her glare at me.
Her breathing became heavy. She was struggling to hold back her anger. "God… DAMNIT!" She groaned, pulling herself away from me and pacing around the room, with her hands covering her face in frustration.
"What have you done, Allen? Couldn't you have controlled your urges?! Why did you allow yourself to be seen like that with Fiona? Why?!" She slammed her fist into the wall, leaving a hole.
"Don't blame me because of that girl, mother! I never told her to follow me inside. She was the one who organized the party to show off! I only wanted to be on my own, but she came and seduced me, forgetting we aren't alone!" I defended myself, getting off the bed.
"It's her fault that the Royal family are being looked down on! She never listens. Always craving for a man's touch no matter where she is."
"You are making it sound like you're better than her. Is that why you said all those things?!" She turned around to face me.
"Allen, you didn't just portray Fiona as a whore but a cheater! Everyone would think she chiseled her way to the top when she didn't do anything!"
"I know that mother, that's why I pinned everything on her to safe your image!" I pointed out, leaving my mother in silence.
"You think I don't know about your secret? I know you gave those damsels something that will make them weak, so that Fiona would win the hunt. I saw when you spiked their drinks."
"Be quiet, Allen," She muttered, tightening her fist.
But I didn't stop. I kept on talking. "You helped Fiona rig the game, so that your son would marry the girl of your wish!"
"Allen!"
"Instead of thanking me for saving your name, you are trying to justify Fiona to me? Oh mother…" I scoffed, swaying my head at her. "Don't allow your cravings get the best of you."
I gently placed my hands on her shoulder with a smile on my face. "You have been trying to make everything work out well because you feel Fiona has what it takes to take after you. Even when I said no, you refused me. Still, I agreed to your wish. Not because I don't know the kind of person Fiona is, but because I respect and adore you."
My hands went to her face, cupping it in my hold. I stroked my mother's cheek and said to her in a soothing voice, "You know how much I love you, Mom. I can't help it when someone speaks ill of you."
"Allen, still you should have…"
"No Mom," I interrupted, stopping her from backing Fiona. "You told that stubborn girl about the rules of the ceremony. She's neither deaf nor dumb. She's just foolish! She refused to take your orders and went on to seduce me!" I raised at once, getting fed up of her defense over Fiona.
"I know I've been in bed with her multiple times, and that I have difficulty in controlling myself, but I'm not stupid! It was all Fiona's fault!" I blamed her again, trying hard to convince my mother.
"If she had just listened to me when I asked for some space, we wouldn't be in this mess. She would still be seen as Wolf Fall's future Luna, but her madness brought shame on us. That's why I did what was important to save your name as well as mine," I said, smiling at my mother.
Her wolf eyes slowly dimmed, switching back to its human form. She gave out a sigh and lowered her head down, unable to say another word.
The right mood I've been waiting for.
"Mother," I called, pulling her close for an embrace. "Let's say when the people demanded for our voice and I chose to stay indoor like you did… What would you have done if the pack chose to remove your son from his position as the Alpha? Would you have allowed it? Think about it. You won't have anyone from your lineage to take over when you're gone and maybe they would all…"
"No one can take away our throne!" She answered strongly, pulling herself out of my arms.
"I am the Queen and I will not allow anyone to take what belongs to my family. Even if they gather to attack us, I would have done something ahead to silence them! That's why I didn't want you speaking to the media. I was thinking of a solution, but you…"
"I did what I felt was right, and that's by protecting my mother," I said immediately, preventing her from talking about Fiona.
"The people will make their decision on Fiona and I very soon. It's up to you to decide if you'll accept their wish or not. Remember… you are the Queen they look up to. They expect a lot from you, mother."
She was lost in her thoughts.
Mom soon left my room without delivering any more words. I felt relieved after seeing how calm she went. She no longer sang Fiona's name after what I told her.
This is perfect. Everything is going my way.
.
Towards that evening, the people made their decision towards the case.
Just as I anticipated, everyone attacked Fiona, suggesting that the Queen nullifies her win once and for all.
They showed their anger and disappointment in my action with her, but concluded that it was Fiona's doing. Now they don't want a slut for a Queen.
They brought two options before my mother, suggesting that she either give me the chance to pick who I want as my Luna or conduct a fair rematch with the all damsels .
I wanted my mother to go for the first, but she accepted the second choice, believing it would be fair to the girls.
"And as for Fiona… I'll see to it that she's punished for the crime she committed to her fellow damsels. I will not tolerate such behavior in my pack," Mom said, settling the case.
Finally, I was free from my mother's trouble. No more Fiona to pester me with.
"All I need to do is find a way to get her to accept Evolet as my mate. The heavens have given me this chance to make amends. It's a sign that we are meant to be." I smiled, flashing to what my Beta had told me this morning when the news came in.
I finally gave him the chance to explain what had happened that night. Dean placed his suspicion on Evolet, because my girl had seen what transpired between Fiona and I. That's why she grew that sudden hatred towards me. She… She was heartbroken and jealous.
I would have accepted his words, but I doubted it, since the video source didn't come from Wolf Fall, but outside.
An intruder had gotten into the party and recorded that video to tarnish my image.
"But… Why didn't the sorceress feel it? Surely she must know all the people that came in and out of our pack that night. I'll speak to her about it later. But first, I need to celebrate," I chuckled, heading up the staircase.
.
It was getting dark, so I decided to see Sorceress Thelma before I forget the plan. I still need to pay that asshole a visit, for thinking he can ruin my reputation.
Just as I was heading to her chamber, a hand grabbed and turned me over from behind, launching its fist at me.
I was swift to grab the hand, glaring at the face of my weak attacker with a smirk on my face.
"Oh, long time no seen, Fiona," I mocked, looking at her swollen black eyes. It was a sign that she has been crying her eyes out after hearing the Queen's order. Perhaps my side of the story caused it.
"You Bastard! You dirty filthy jerk!" She yelled, trying to hit me again, but failed.
I pinned Fiona against the wall while she kept on barking, swearing to bruise me for hurting her.
"I am not a whore! You are the pervert here! I know all your dirty affairs with different ladies. Everyone will know about your disgusting side!"
"And you think they'll believe you?" I scoffed, almost busting into a laugh. "Oh, you weak Omega. You don't know how funny you sound. Who even allowed you into my home? Were the guards blind when you showed up?"
"Weak Omega? You have never called me that before. No one calls me that!" Her eyes came wide. She felt insulted.
I tsked at this and said, reminding her of her place, "You have and will remain an Omega."
"I am Fiona and I will take what rightfully belongs to me! No matter what you do, Allen… I will be your Luna," She dared, flashing her weak wolf eyes at me.
Does she think her animal can scare me? I am the Alpha and I can do whatever I want.
I was laughing at this until she said something that shunned me. "You think I don't know why you did this, Allen? Oh, I do. You are after that wolfless Evolet, aren't you? You want to make her your Luna!"
I glared at Fiona, as she cackled out in my hold.
"The same Evolet who has moved on? She now has a boyfriend, you idiot! You saw it with your own eyes, yet you refused to let go!"
"Shut it!" I gripped her jaw, tempted to squeeze it until she can't speak any more.
Fiona moaned out, now fighting to break free from my hold.
I pressed her head against the wall and said, giving her a warning, "Take Evolet's name out of your mouth, you Slut, otherwise I'll rip your tongue out. You have no right to mention such a sweet name with your disgusting mouth!"
"Allen!" She groaned, scrambling.
"So what if she has a lover? I am the Alpha! I'll find a way to make her mine. And yes, she's among the damsels who took part in the hunt. She'll have no choice but to return to me. Which means you lose."
With force, I tossed Fiona to the ground, just in time for the guards to show up.
"Throw her out of my home. I don't want to see her anywhere near my mansion, until she's called to face her punishment."
"Yes Alpha."
"You won't get what you want, Allen! I will be the Luna even if it's the last thing I do!" Fiona yelled as she was being dragged.
"Fool. You can't do anything," I smirked, walking away.
