Chapter 31

He wounded his hand with a sharp knife that he pulled from his waist. His blood flowed from the wound he made on his hand. I immediately confronted him about what he did. I immediately took off the scarf I was wearing around my neck and covered the blood flowing from his hand.

"What are you doing, Alpha? Why did you hurt your hand?" I asked him.

"It's my punishment!" he answered firmly.

"I neglected my pack, Crema. Many of my members lost their lives because of my Negligence," he added.

"Wait, They won't rely on you in all situations. They need to protect themselves by their own ability and if they failed then It's their fault not yours," I answered him.

"I'm the Alpha of Bloody scar and It's my responsibility to protect and lead my pack," he said seriously.

"I know, but this is not enough reason for you to blame yourself for everything that happened. No one likes what happened, Alpha. The Rogues attacked suddenly. You did not control the situation." I insisted.

I heard him sigh at what I said. I could see his fist clenched tightly due to anger. I don't know if I should be happy to see him like that.

“I have to get the fang back. If I have to rush alone, I will! I'm going to teach that Dragus a lesson. I guess he doesn't know who he's fighting against!" he said angrily.

"I, I know you," said my mind.

I held his shoulder and gently caressed it to calm him down. He looked at me and we stared at each other at that time. But why is that? I couldn't look at him for a long time, so I immediately looked away from him.

"Ahm, let's go back inside. It's late at night so just think about that tomorrow, Alpha" I told him.

"A..alright, Crema. I'm sorry if I bothered you," he apologized.

"You don't have to apologize, Alpha. I live here in your castle and I'm already part of your pack, so I should just intervene" I replied.

He smiled at what I said and we went back inside the castle. While we were walking in the Corridor, we met Aryana and I looked at her evilly. I raised an eyebrow at her. She bowed to pay her respects to Alpha Dior.

"If you allow it, can I talk to you, Alpha?"she asked gently.

My blood warmed at what this woman said. I looked at Alpha and he looked at me as well. I waited for a few seconds before he answered Aryana's question to him.

"I want to rest, Aryana," he answered seriously.

I smiled sarcastically at Aryana because Alpha Dior fulfilled my wish last time.

The frustration on Aryana's face was obvious, and she even begged Alpha to force him to talk to her. But she still did not grant his permission.

"Don't force yourself if he doesn't want to talk to you,Aryana," I said.

"I'm not talking to you!"she said annoyed.

"That's enough! Aryana,Please leave now!" Alpha said firmly.

"I don't know what that woman fed you to make you obey like that, Alpha. It's disrespectful but I lost my respect to you!" Aryana responded firmly and walked out immediately.

I heard Alpha Dior's sigh and I calmed him down. That woman was really making my blood hot all the time.

"I really don't like the shape of that woman's tongue!" I said annoyed.

"That's enough, Crema. I'd better take you to your room now," he responded seriously.

I nodded to him, and when we arrived at the front door, we said goodbye to each other. I don't know if I am also affected by what is happening to him. I should even be happy because my plans are slowly coming to fruition .I took deep breaths to calm myself down during those times.

I lay down on the bed and just closed my eyes until I didn't realize that I fell asleep.

I heard my mother's begging and my father's screams when Alpha was mercilessly murdering him. Alpha's demonic face was visible and I heard his demonic laughter. I was shaking with fear when I saw him approaching me and I screamed strong. I woke up from a bad dream. My whole body was sweating and I got up to get some water to drink. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down.

"You are a demon, Alpha Dior! You deserve to suffer!" I said to myself firmly.

I held my chest at that time. I have to fulfill my promise to my parents. The justice I've been seeking for a long time. I can't give in to emotions so I shouldn't feel guilty. I shouldn't feel sorry for him because he didn't show mercy when he killed my parents. I had to strengthen my will to carry out my plans.

I couldn't sleep again thinking about that bad dream. I apologized to my parents because I know they know my true feelings. I know they don't want me to feel sorry for the demonic creature that killed them.

"I'm sorry, Dad, Mom. I know I shouldn't feel sorry for that demonic man. The Alpha who mercilessly murdered you!" I said it emotionally.

I couldn't stop my tears from falling for reasons I couldn't explain. I faced the mirror and wiped my tears. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. I went into the bathroom to take a shower and as the water flowed through my body, I'm still playing that bad dream in my mind.

After I got dressed, I put on lipstick and make-up. I looked at myself in front of the mirror.

"I will drive you crazy, Alpha.You will obey in everything I want" I smiled sarcastically.

After I fixed my hair, I left my room. I walked in the Corridor and I met Martha, who was obviously panicked, approaching me.

"Hi Martha, is there anything wrong?" I asked curiously.

"I'm worried about Alpha Dior, Crema," he answered worriedly.

"Why? What happened to him?" I asked and I couldn't help but worry too.

"He left early alone to chase after the Rogues. Aries wanted to accompany him but he got angry so we couldn't do anything. You know we were all afraid to violate his command," Martha said.

"What?!" I asked in disbelief.

I don't know how I will feel at that time. Should I be happy to think that he could die where he is going and never come back? But why did I worry so much while thinking that he would rush to the Rogues' place alone. It disgusts me to think that he didn't even say goodbye to me before leaving.

"Why didn't he even say goodbye to me?!" I asked annoyed.

"Maybe it's because he doesn't want you to feel sorry for him, Crema. Let's just pray for his safety and hope he succeeds in taking back the Fang," Martha answered calmly.

I can't believe what Martha said. Are they seriously going to let the Alpha fight the Rogues alone. Are they not going to follow him?!

"Wait, is what I heard right? You're just going to let him fight there alone?!" I asked firmly.

"There is nothing we can do because he strictly orders us to stay here in the Castle. I know Alpha Dior is strong so I know he can defeat those Rogues," Martha answered complacently.

I sighed at what she said and I didn't really agree with it. But I couldn't do anything because I didn't know where to follow him. I thought of going to Aries to talk to him.

"Where is Aries?" I asked her.

"In the treatment room.He checked the condition of the wounded wolves," replied Martha.

I immediately walked towards the treatment room to talk to him. And when I entered there, I saw him helping a man to get up. He looked at me, and I looked at him firmly.

"Can you come with me, Aries?" I asked him seriously.

"Where?" he asked.

"Do you really have no intention of following Alpha?!" I asked him firmly.

"He strictly forbid following him, Crema,"Aries answered.

"Didn't you think that he could die at the hands of the Rogues?!" I insisted.

"Is that how you know him, Crema?" Aries asked seriously.

I stopped at his question and suddenly remembered my bad dream. I remembered how he mercilessly murdered my parents. Yes, I know him well, so why am I worried about that demonAlpha? I hate myself for being worried like this.

I immediately left the room and walked out of the Corridor. I met Aryana as she was leaving the castle. I looked at her closely but she ignored me while she was leaving the Castle.

"Where are you going, Aryana?" I asked her.

She stopped walking and faced me. A few seconds before she answered my question to her.

"I will follow Alpha, "she answered seriously.

"And why are you going to follow him?!" I asked her.

"He strictly forbids following him!" I added.

"He needs help,Crema.And I am the only one who look after him"she answered.

"Are you saying I don't care about him?!"I asked, annoyed.

"Say what you want to say. I don't have time to argue with you," she said seriously.

She immediately turned her back on me and I found it so rude for me. I couldn't stop myself from following her to pull her hair out. But I immediately stopped and was very surprised when Alpha Dior appeared in front of us.
