Chapter 307

Chapter 307

Theo

“You are under arrest for the attempted murder of my maid,” Theo growled to Goldie. Goldie looked furious and fought against the warriors that held her captive. They were placing cuffs around her wrists to keep her powers under control. Her icy blue eyes peered at Theo, and she looked as if she wanted to spit in his face.

“You are going to resent this day,” she hissed to him. “I promise you; this palace and your crown will be mine.”

Theo said nothing to her as he watched the gammas take her out of the palace. She was going to be locked away for a very long time if Theo had anything to say about it. He shook his head in dismay as he overheard Molly comforting a very frightened Dana.

Dana was still on the ground and Molly had her arms wrapped around her tightly. Both of them seemed to be trembling. After everything that has happened these last few weeks, he knew Molly has been holding a lot in, and now was the time to relax and allow her feelings to take over.

Dana sobbed in Molly’s chest and Molly had tears threatening to escape her beautiful eyes. Theo wanted to wrap Molly in his arms and comfort her as well. He wanted her to know that she was safe now and that nothing was ever going to hurt her again.

“Where’s jack?” He heard Dana asking.

He realized that Dana was right; Bobo was still out there. He couldn’t let Bobo get away with what he had done to Molly. She was still badly beaten and bruised and by the way, she was sitting on the ground, he knew she was still in pain from the beating she endured. He remembered smelling Bobo’s fresh scent when they ran toward the palace in the forest. He could probably catch up to Bobo and get him once and for all.

“I’ll be back,” Theo said as he marched toward the front doors of the palace.

He could hear Molly in the distance asking where he was going and what he was going to do, but all he could think about at that moment was getting to Bobo before he strayed too far away.

It didn’t take long to find Bobo; he was running through the forest in his wolf form. The last time Theo found jack in the forest; he was heading toward the border to get the rogues to help him. but this time, it seemed Bobo was a bit lost. He was running around and trying to figure out the best escape route. He didn’t seem as put together and confident as he seemed the last time.

This must have been the moment that Xander used his weakness and his desperation to get to him. One of his vessels must have been nearby and attacked Bobo, causing Bobo to become a vessel of Xander. Now that Bobo was only Bobo, he would be much easier to take down.

He already called for backup, which should be arriving soon. But he needed to make sure Bobo didn’t go anywhere before they arrived.

Theo was quick to tackle Bobo, causing both wolves to roll around the ground in a pile of dirt. Bobo put up a fair fight, but he certainly wasn’t as strong as Theo. Both were furious and fought with great strength. But only one had the upper hand.

Just as Theo pinned Bobo to the ground, his warriors came out of nowhere and helped put cuffs around Bobo’s arms, causing him to shift back into his human form. His body had scratches from the fight all over his flesh. He was breathing heavily, and he tried to struggle against the warriors but he was no match for them.

“For your crimes against my luna queen, you are sentenced to prison. You won’t be seeing the light of day for a long time,” Theo hissed.

Bobo looked as if he wanted to protest, but he refrained from doing so. He just made a lot of hissing and growling sounds as the warriors took him away, bringing him to prison to be with his mother.

Theo could finally breathe with satisfaction for a moment. But he didn’t linger for long. He needed to get back to Molly.

Molly

Dana leaned against the counter of the bathroom with her head lowered and tears spilling from her eyes. Her hair had fallen over her face, shielding away her features. Her body was still trembling, and she held onto her arms as if she was freezing.

I ran a cloth over warm water in the sink and brought it to her head. She had a small gash on her head and blood started to trickle from it. I’m assuming she hit it when she fell to the ground. She winced at first contact, but soon her body relaxed.

I knew how frightened and confused she was, and my heart pulled for her.
