Chapter 15 Passion Unleashed
Chapter 15 Passion Unleashed
Their hands, resting on the console between them, brushed. A fleeting touch, like static electricity, yet it sent a jolt through Clara, a delicious shiver. He didn’t pull away. Instead, his thumb caressed the back of her hand, a feather-light touch, profoundly sensual. Clara’s breath hitched. In the isolation of the mountains, with danger circling, their survival instincts were heightened, and with them, a primal, undeniable attraction. Wanton glances exchanged, promising more than mere words ever could. The ember smoldered, hot and insistent, until they reached Ethan’s cabin.
The moment the truck stopped, the dam broke. Their eyes locked, unspoken needs flashing between them. They were out of the truck, moving as if pulled by an invisible string, stumbling towards the cabin door. Raw need, urgency, and the lingering adrenaline from the day’s terror converged into an overwhelming desire.
They barely made it inside, their hands already tearing at each other’s clothing. Their mouths hungrily devouring each other as Clara’s fingers fumbled with the buttons of Ethan’s worn flannel shirt, then ripped it open, exposing the hard, sculpted planes of his chest. His hands were in her hair, then on her waist, lifting her, pushing her back against the rough-hewn log wall. Her clothes became a hindrance, shed in a chaotic flurry of fabric and desperate breaths.
He didn't waste a second, his mouth finding hers, hungry, demanding, tasting of pine and raw desire. He lifted her, carrying her through the small living room, straight to his bedroom, a space sparse and masculine, dominated by a large, inviting bed.
He pushed her down onto the bed, her back arching, her eyes never leaving his. He followed her down, a low growl rumbling in his chest, then moved between her thighs, burying his mouth between them. Clara gasped, her fingers tangling in his dark hair, pulling him closer. His tongue and his lips were magical, a relentless, fiery assault that sent shivers of pleasure radiating through her core. While his mouth devoured her, he worked a finger into her, tracing the sensitive folds, teasing, then plunging deeper. Clara moaned, her body coiling, every nerve ending alive. The pleasure was exquisite, building rapidly, overwhelmingly. Her hips bucked against him, desperate for more, desperate for release. An earth-shattering orgasm ripped through her, leaving her breathless, her body trembling, her fingers digging into the sheets.
Ethan didn't stop. He moved up between her legs, his throbbing erection pressing against her slippery heat. He grasped her breasts in his hands, thumbing her nipples as he positioned himself. And then, with a powerful, deliberate thrust, he entered her, filling her completely. Clara cried out, a long, low moan of absolute satisfaction as he stretched her, claimed her. He began to thrust, powerful, primal strokes that drove her deeper into the mattress. She arched her back, her hips rising to meet his every plunge, their bodies moving in a synchronized, ancient rhythm. Their primal passion drove them to an intense pace, a desperate dance of flesh and sensation. He drove into her, harder, faster, his breath ragged in her ear, until with a final, shuddering groan, he released into her, a hot, pulsing wave. Her throbbing sheath squeezed him, milking his release, as a second, equally earth-shattering orgasm propelled her over the edge, her body convulsing around him.
For a long moment, they lay tangled, breathless, sweat-slicked, the scent of sex and pine filling the small room. Clara’s head rested on Ethan’s chest, listening to the rapid beat of his heart slowly return to normal. His hand stroked her hair, a soothing, gentle gesture that belied the fire they had just unleashed.
“At this rate,” Ethan murmured, his voice hoarse, a hint of a smile in it, “I’ll never get your brakes fixed.”
Clara giggled, a sound of joyful contentment. The soft sound transformed into the ferocious growl of a lion cub as she pushed him onto his back, reveling in the feel of his warm skin against hers. His eyes, still dark with arousal, met hers. She traced the hard line of his jaw, then let her hand drift lower. Her fingers found him, stroking his spent member, circling the tip. It became instantly erect, pulsing against her touch, a testament to his continued desire.
A knowing smile played on her lips. She shifted, straddling him, her eyes still locked with his. She lowered herself slowly, letting out a long, low moan as his erection filled her again, the exquisite sensation of his hard throbbing heat sliding deep inside her. The mystery, the danger, the wildness of the mountains… it all dissolved into the swirling vortex of their shared passion. The brakes could wait. For now, there was only this. Only them.
Hours had dissolved in the soft light filtering through the pines, their bodies finding a language beyond words, a desperate comfort against the encroaching threat. But even passion had its limits, especially when a critical piece of machinery needed attention.
“Alright, love,” Ethan finally murmured, pulling back just enough to brush a stray curl from her temple. His eyes, the color of a winter sky, held a tenderness that still surprised her, a stark contrast to his usual guardedness. “I need to get those brakes fixed.”
Clara sighed, tracing the line of his jaw. “Do you have to?” The thought of leaving his side, even for a moment, felt like a separation from her newfound anchor in this wild, beautiful, and increasingly dangerous world. But the Outback, her trusty Denver vehicle, was essential. It was her freedom, her connection, and now, potentially her escape.
Ethan chuckled, a low, rumbling sound that vibrated through her. “I do. You’re going to need a reliable ride, especially with what’s coming.” He swung his legs out of bed, pulling on a pair of worn jeans, his movements fluid and strong. “Besides, you probably want some fresh clothes, don’t you? You didn’t exactly pack for a permanent stay.”
She managed a weak smile. “Who says I’m staying?” she teased.
“In that case, you’ll need it to go back to your cabin,” he responded, not missing a beat.
Her wardrobe was back at her great-aunt’s cabin, a stark reminder of the life she’d left behind, the life that now seemed so impossibly far away. While Ethan disappeared into his shed, the faint clinking of tools soon reached her. Clara slowly dressed. The cabin, once her great-aunt Beatrice’s sanctuary, now felt exposed, vulnerable. She needed to get some things, yes, but more importantly, she needed to be back with Ethan.
