Katherine Hamilton sat on one of the many lanais in her mansion on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. She watched the sun rise over Diamond Head as she did every morning. It was one of the most breathtaking scenes and she enjoyed every minute of her time alone—her peace and quiet.
Today the sky was covered in small, white puffy clouds. Pink, yellow, and blue mixed together in the sky as the sun rose. The sky looked almost violet with the different colors mixing. The 150,000-year-old volcano was just an outline in the rays of the sun. She could look at this view forever.
These mornings were Katherine’s “It’s nice to get away from her hectic family life” tradition she started when they moved here from New York. She would wake up, put on her new favorite silk robe she got from her husband on her 40th birthday, get a freshly brewed cup of coffee, sit on the lanai, and watch the sun come up on a new day. She always felt a sense of peace and relaxation while outside looking over her new home.
Thinking back to two years ago, Katherine remembered her family’s life changing move to Hawaii. Her husband Phillip and their two daughters moved from the small town of Aurora, New York to the huge city of Honolulu, Hawaii. It was a change in not only scenery, but in their lifestyle as well. Her husband was given a huge promotion with the pharmaceutical company he worked for. Instead of being a “lowly sale rep” (as Phillip put it), he was now the head of the West Coast/Pacific Region for the whole company. He oversaw California, Hawai’i, Alaska, and all the other states up the west coast.
Katherine was very proud of her husband and his professional career. At the age of 46, he was more successful than most men his age. She just wished his personal success was equally as successful. Phillip became a workaholic when they moved here. He worried more about his career than his personal life. He would leave home early to be at work before anyone else and he wouldn’t arrive home until very late. Katherine knew that he worked hard to provide a good, stable life for his family—the type of life he never had growing up. But she missed her husband. Their marriage had been, not perfect per say, but a good marriage. They would go to company parties, have dates with other couples, and flirt with each other constantly. And oh, the sex. Their sex life was over the top. There wasn’t a time when Phillip didn’t bring her to multiple orgasms. Just thinking about their sex life made Katherine squirm with want and desire.
Then the move to Hawaii happened and it completely changed him. He had to prove himself to the older, more experienced employees. Most of whom were passed up for the promotion given to Phillip. He started working throughout the night, often staying at the office. When they lived in New York, he always came home. Every night. When Katherine asked him why he doesn’t come home, his response was always, “I worked hard to get where I am, and I will do everything I can to stay on top.” This person was not her Phillip. This person was a stranger who lived in the same house as her.
Sighing, Katherine sipped her now cold coffee and stood up to go back into the house.
As she was walking back into her house, she noticed that her daughters were already awake. Annika and Jasmine were getting ready for their last day of school. To say that the girls were excited about the last day of school would be an understatement. They were ecstatic!
The last day of school also meant that the girls would be returning to New York for their summer vacation. The girls were going to their grandparent’s house for the summer to be with the friends they left behind. Katherine had never been separated from her daughters before, but she knew it was time she started cutting the apron strings. It was a hard move from New York to Hawaii. Annika left a lot of friends she was close to, and Jasmine has had a hard time making friends. Katherine was afraid that her girls would not want to come back after a summer with friends and family.
“Damn you, Phillip. You knew our family would struggle with this move. We need you. Now more than ever,” Katherine muttered under her breath.
“What did you say, mom?” asked Annika, her oldest.
Annika is a 16-year-old beauty with long brown hair and natural highlights. She has the body of an athlete. She is the fashionista of the two girls, always wearing the most “in” outfit of the season. Her make-up was always perfect. Phillip always said she could be a model. Annika is the star cross-country runner at her new high school. It sure did make for a hectic schedule with all of her after school and before school practices and meets. Track was the one thing in Annika’s life that wasn’t hard to get back into after the move.
“Mom? You ok? You look sad again.” Annika was looking at her mom, worried.
“Nothing, Anni. I’m fine. I was just thinking out loud.” Turning to her oldest daughter, Katherine smiled. “Are you ready for your long summer trip? I’m going to miss you terribly.” Hugging her oldest tightly to her, Katherine felt the tears begin to well up in her eyes.
“Mom! Stop with the mushy hugging stuff. And yes, I’m ready for the trip. More than ready.” Annika pulled away from her mom and looked at her with sadness in her eyes. “Why did dad have to move us here? We were all perfectly happy in Aurora.”
It was a complaint Katherine had heard many times over the past two years, and just like always her response stayed the same. “He got a really good job promotion and he readily accepted it. He thought it would be best for the family.” Trying to make a rough situation better, Katherine tried another way of convincing her oldest daughter that this was a good move.
“Look on the bright side! We have a beautiful house, a pool, and a semi-private beach we can swim in anytime, day or night!”
Rolling her eyes at her mother, Annika turned and left for school. Katherine sighed, wondering if her daughter would ever be happy in their new home. Turning to her youngest, Jasmine, Katherine asked her, “Are you happy here, sweetie?” Always the shy one, Jasmine shrugged her shoulders and ran after Annika.
Watching her youngest run to her bus, Katherine sighed sadly. Jasmine has had a much harder time with the move than Annika. Jasmine was only twelve. She had short blonde hair that skimmed her shoulders. She wore glasses and had freckles on her face. Jasmine was the artist of the family. She certainly didn’t get her artistic ability from Katherine or Phillip. Not caring much for fashion, Jasmine always wore jeans, solid color t-shirts, and sneakers. Most of the time her clothes had paint, clay, or some type of art stuff on them. It was the art that was keeping Jasmine happy. And for that, Katherine was happy for her.
After her children had left for school, Katherine began cleaning the kitchen. She knew she didn’t really have to clean considering they had a cleaning service that came every day to clean the house, but it made her feel normal. If there even was such a thing in her life anymore. She heard her husband come down the stairs whistling.
Today was one of those rare days when Phillip chose not to go to work early. He was out at a company party last night and came in late. “Wonder when he got home last night?” Katherine muttered to herself quietly.
“You know we have people who clean for us Kat,” her husband pointed out disappointingly as he walked into the kitchen. “You don’t have to clean now. My new job lets us have whatever we want!”
Throwing the sponge down on the counter, she turned to her husband and smiled.
“I know. But it makes me feel normal. I like to clean.”
“Whatever. Do what you want,” Phillip replied.
“How did the party go? I would’ve loved to have been there with you. Why couldn’t spouses go again?”
“Because it was only for the employees and guests of the company. I don’t make the rules, Katherine.”
Walking over to her husband, Katherine put her arms around his waist and said, “You know Phillip, the girls have gone to school already and there is no one in the house for a couple of hours, we could go upstairs and have some fun like we used to.” Rubbing her body into his, she began kissing his neck. “You know, fun.”
Katherine lowered her hand down her husband’s body and stopped at the front of his pants. She began rubbing him, trying to get a reaction. Nothing. Not even a twitch. Looking up, Katherine saw her husband wasn’t even looking at her. He had his eyes closed, grimacing like he was in pain. Shocked at his reaction she dropped her hands and backed away from him. “You’ve changed, Phillip. My touch used to turn you on. You don’t even sleep in our room anymore. What is going on?!”
“Katherine, you’re overreacting. I got home late last night, and I didn’t want to wake you up. I slept in the guest room.” Walking towards the door, Phillip grabbed his briefcase, turned around and said, “Besides, you have your toys to play with. You don’t need me in the bedroom to ‘have fun.’” And with that he left.
Feeling foolish and embarrassed for wanting her husband, Katherine watched as Phillip closed the door. She couldn’t believe that he would say things like that to her. She sat down on one of the bar stools and began to cry. Her husband just left the house and, God knows, he left their marriage. Katherine wanted to believe him when he said that he slept in the guest room, but she had a horrible feeling that he hadn’t. She got up from the bar stool and began walking up the stairs.
Katherine had been married to Phillip for eighteen years. She met Phillip when she was 19 and he was 24. Her best friend in college set them up and thought they would hit it off. And they did! Phillip and Katherine were “the” couple. They would walk around campus hand in hand or with their arms around each other. No one could ever come between them. Girls tried, but Phillip never showed any interest in them. He only had eyes for Katherine. Boys tried for Katherine too, but she was so shy she didn’t even notice.
On her way up the stairs, she saw her husband’s car drive away from the house. She wondered what time her husband would be getting home today since he left for work later than usual. As Katherine reached the top of the stairs, she turned towards the guest suite wondering if she dared to look and see if her husband really did sleep there. She had to know. She had to see for herself, if only to confirm her fears. She put her hand on the doorknob and turned. The door swung open, and Katherine felt sick. The bed was a mess. She could tell that he had slept in it. Her husband was telling the truth. She felt sick for even doubting him. Phillip wouldn’t cheat on her, would he? Shaking the thoughts out of her head, she closed the door to the guest suite and walked to her bedroom. The bedroom she shared with her husband. The one he would be sleeping in tonight. With her.
Walking into their bedroom, Katherine stopped at the door and looked around. It was her dream bedroom. In the center of the room there stood a huge mahogany four poster bed with thick tan velvet drapes. Those drapes were nice to have in Aurora to keep the cold drafts out, but here in Hawaii, there was no need for them. So, they stayed tied up to the four posters and were now used for decoration. In the far-left corner there was a sitting area complete with couch, two chairs, and a small table. No expense was spared with those pieces of furniture. Phillip had seen to that. On the opposite side of the room there was an office that Phillip had turned into a workout room. Katherine’s favorite part of her bedroom were the French doors at the end of the room that lead out to their private lanai.
When they first moved to Hawaii and were looking for a place to call their home, Katherine was looking for a place like this. A private lanai, where no neighbors could see them. She knew this was the place they were going to buy as soon as she saw the lanai. There were trees for privacy and a beautiful white cement wall that was chest high. It was huge too! Almost 1500 square feet! The day she and Phillip looked at the house and she saw the lanai, her sexual fantasies began.
Katherine squirmed, remembering one of her sexual fantasies that became a reality soon after they moved in, and before Phillip changed and no longer wanted her. But she wasn’t going to think about that right now. Right now, she was going to remember that night. Remember the passion. The sex. The orgasms.
“PHILLIP!!” Katherine yelled down the stairs. “I need your help!”
Phillip ran up the stairs to Katherine, took her in his arms and kissed her passionately. “Anything for you, my love. What can I help you with?”
“I need your help with something in our bedroom.” Katherine smiled sensually, giving Phillip a small squeeze in the front of his pants.
“I think I can handle that,” Phillip replied, kissing his wife again.
Katherine led her husband into their bedroom, closed the door and locked it. Once inside their bedroom, Katherine leapt at her husband. He caught her in a tight hug, kissing her. Their tongues entangled, knowing each other so well. Katherine broke the kiss and took her husband’s hand. “I’ve been thinking about you all day, my lover.”
“Have you now, wife?”
“I want to make love to you. But not on the bed. I want you to make love to me under the stars.”
Katherine led Phillip to the French doors and opened them to a picture of pure romance. Katherine laid a blanket on the ground, and pillows were laid on the blanket. A bottle of red wine and two glasses were on a small table.
Phillip stood in the doorway stunned at the transformation of the lanai. Before he went to work there was no furniture here. Nothing. And now on the left side of the lanai, there were two beige and white oversized armless sofa sectionals with huge pillows thrown on them. In the middle of the sectionals, there stood a cocktail table. On the right side of the lanai there was an oversized circular lounge chair with a small side table next to it.
“What do you think?” Katherine asked breathlessly.
“You’ve been busy,” Phillip replied. He looked at her and saw her standing in front of him with her silk robe on, and he wondered what she had on under her robe. He walked up to her, took the ties in front of the robe, and pulled them free. As the robe came undone, he sucked his breath in. She was completely naked.
For a woman in her early 40s, Katherine was very beautiful. She had long, dark wavy hair that reached just to her breasts. She was 5’8” and she had the body of a 20-year-old. She worked out almost every day and never ate anything that would damage her figure. Her breasts were firm, yet soft to the touch. Her stomach was taut and firm. And her ass…Oh, he could stare at her ass all day long. It was so firm and round. But it was her eyes that he knew he could drown in. Her beautiful crystal blue eyes. He was a very lucky man. And he had to have her. Now.
Phillip took Katherine in his arms, pulled her against him, showing her how much her beauty affected him. He had grown hard looking at her body. She reached down between them and stroked his hardness. Katherine once again broke the kiss and began undressing her husband. Every inch of skin that was exposed to the Hawaiian night air, Katherine kissed.
Phillip kept himself in shape too. For a man in late 40s, he had no grey hair in his blonde hair. He was tall too, at least 6 feet. He had firm abs, strong arms, and an ass Katherine loved to play with. Once Katherine was done taking Phillip’s shirt off, she knelt and began to unbuckle his belt. She took his belt off his pants, smiling to herself.
“We’ll use this later,” she thought.
Undoing Phillip’s pants, Katherine pulled them down. As usual, there was no underwear. Phillip stepped out of his pants and kicked them to the side. Katherine wasted no time exploring her husband. She loved the size of him, the width of him, and the way just looking at him made her wet.
Looking at her husband from the floor, Katherine smiled and took him into her mouth. Phillip gasped at the quickness of his wife’s aggression. Katherine licked him up and down his shaft, sucking at the tip. She started slowly, sucking him into her mouth at an achingly slow pace. The slower she went, the wetter she got. She loved to hear him moan and cry out in pleasure and knowing that it was her that was giving him the pleasure.
She held him in place with her hands on his ass as she took him deeply into her mouth. Smiling, Katherine knew her husband loved to have his ass played with. She stayed there, sucking him, her hands caressing his ass. When Phillip started moaning, she knew she had him right where she wanted him. SMACK!!
Katherine struck him on the ass, as she pulled him out of her mouth with a great pop. Phillip cried out in pleasure. He grabbed her hair and pulled her back to him. She could tell he wanted her closer, deeper. SMACK!! SMACK!!
More strikes. Sucking harder. Phillip had now taken control of the situation. He had her hair in his fists. Guiding her head how he wanted her. Up and down his shaft he pulled her. He thrust into her mouth. “God, baby! You’re so good! Suck me harder!”
Katherine began rubbing her husband’s ass and eventually found her way to his hole. She knew this was one thing he has always want to do. He has always wanted to be ass-fucked while someone sucked him. It was his most desired fantasy. And tonight, Katherine was going to make this fantasy a reality.
As Phillip pulled her towards him, Katherine opened her mouth and welcomed his manhood. As she sucked, she began to push her finger into his ass. “KATHERINE…” Phillip gasped. “Baby, you are going to undo me.” Smiling, Katherine knew she would, but not just yet. Pulling him out of her mouth, Katherine stood up and took his hand. She led him to the blanket and pillows.
“I want you, my lover” Katherine whispered. Kissing him, she thrust her tongue into his mouth. Playing with his tongue, caressing and loving. Then the kiss changed. Katherine did not want to play nice anymore. She wanted Phillip. The kiss became aggressive, tongues fighting for entrance into the other’s mouth, claiming each other as lovers.
Breaking free from the kiss, gasping, Phillip got on his knees. He knew Katherine always loved to be pleasured standing up. Tonight, he would not only pleasure her, but he would make sure she would come multiple times.
Phillips began licking Katherine’s thighs, slowly, planting kisses between licks. He caressed her ass as he licked her. Katherine had a very sensitive spot, just above her ass. Softly touching her sensitive spot, Katherine cried out in pleasure. “Phillip. Stop!” He stopped and looked at his wife confused.
“Tonight, is your night my lover. I want to pleasure you.”
“You always pleasure me,” Phillip said as he leaned in to lick her.
“PHILLIP…please. Oh God…”
Backing away, Katherine knelt in front of her husband. She gently pushed him down on the pillows. Lying down on top of him, she kissed him on the nose, lips, chest, nipples, and anywhere she could. She slid her body down his body, rubbing her nipples on his chest. When she got to his manhood, she once again took him into her mouth. This time, she wasn’t slow. She guided him with her hand, sucking him. With her other hand, she held his ball sack. Squeezing them together, feeling for the sensation of her husband getting close to orgasm. This was not something she wanted right now. She planned on making her husband wait. She had a surprise for him. Sensing that her husband was very close, Katherine pulled him out of her mouth, but not without one final suck and lick.
“Now, my lover. I’m going to show you, my surprise. I hope you’re ready for it. Stay here while I go get ready.” Getting up, Katherine walked into their bedroom. Phillip could hear drawers opening and closing. He heard Katherine moan and gasp.
“You ok Kat?” he called out to his wife.
“I’m good!”
A few moments later, Katherine walked out wearing a strap-on. Smiling, Katherine began stroking the vibrator sticking out and pointing at Phillip. His eyes grew large in shock.
“What are you doing, Kat? What are you wearing?”
“You’ve told me your greatest fantasy was to be ass-fucked while having someone suck you. Well, I can’t do both, but I sure can fuck your ass.”
“But you won’t be able to feel pleasure too.”
“Oh, I will…” Undoing the strap on her strap-on, Katherine pulled out the vibrator with a moan. Katherine had a double strap-on vibrator. She showed her husband the remote that came with the strap-on. “You, my lover, will be in charge of the remote. That is how you will pleasure me.” Handing him the remote, Katherine sat down in front of her husband. She spread her legs out wide, showing her husband how wet she was. She put the vibrator that had been inside her into her mouth and sucked.
Gasping, Phillip couldn’t believe his wife was acting like this. She was never the over-sexed type of woman. She was always the slow and steady type. He liked this new side of her.
Moaning, Katherine took the vibrator out of her mouth and slowly began to insert it back into her. Smiling wickedly, Phillip turned on the vibrator. Katherine shrieked in pleasure. She didn’t stop though. The deeper it went, the higher Phillip set the vibration. Once fully inside, Katherine laid back and let the vibration do the work against her.
“Oh, my god. Phillip. Yes.” Katherine began bucking her hips into the vibrator. “Phillip…I’m going to cum! I’m going…to…PHILLIP!!” Katherine cried out in pleasure as her orgasm hit her.
Watching his wife thrust into the vibrator was very erotic for Phillip. However, watching her orgasm against it, that was about all he could take. He turned off the vibrator, crawled over to his wife and kissed her deeply as she came down from her first of many planned orgasms.
“That was the most erotic and the most beautiful sight I have seen in a while. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, my lover.” Kissing him back, Katherine recovered quite quickly from her orgasm. “Now lie down. It’s your turn.” She began to get up from her sitting position, but Phillip pushed her back down.
“No. Not yet. I want to taste you. I want to lick you until you cum again. I want to ass fuck you with my fingers while you cum for me.” Phillip brought his hand to her mouth and began to trace her lips with his fingers. “Open for me, my wife.”
Opening her mouth for him, Phillip put two fingers in. She grabbed his hand and began sucking his fingers. With his other hand, Phillip removed the vibrator. Moaning, Katherine bucked at the sensation. She continued sucking his fingers, making them very wet.
Once Phillip was satisfied that his fingers were wet enough, he slid down his wife’s body. Stopping at the breasts. He took one of her breasts into his mouth and began to suck. His wife’s breasts were the most sensitive spot on her body. Just by sucking them—pinching, biting, and licking them—he could get her to orgasm. In fact, Phillip thought his wife needed another orgasm. He began sucking harder on the breast he already had in his mouth.
Katherine cried out in pleasure, grabbing her husband’s hair. With his other hand, he took her other breast and began rubbing her nipple between two fingers. He switched breasts and began nipping at her nipples. “Oh baby. Don’t stop pinching…don’t stop…” Always one to grant his wife her wish, he stopped nipping at her breasts. But replaced his mouth with his hands. He took both nipples and pinched. Hard.
“PHILLIP! Oh, my god!”
RIIIIIING!!!
The home phone rang, scaring Katherine out of her memory. Walking over to the side table by her bed, she answered it. “Hello?”
“Mrs. Hamilton?” the older woman’s voice on the other end asked.
“Yes, may I ask who’s calling?”
“I am your husband’s secretary. He asked me to call you. He would like to know if you would like to join him for lunch today.”
Katherine looked at the phone with disgust. Seriously? Phillip had his SECRETARY call her.
“Actually, no. I can’t. But I’ll call my husband and let him know personally. I am very sorry he put you in this position.”
“It was no problem, Mrs. Hamilton. It’s my job.”
Hanging up with Phillip’s secretary, Katherine called her husband’s cell phone. It went right to voicemail. She tried his direct line. He picked up on the third ring.
“Katherine. I had my secretary call you. Why are you calling me?”
“If you want me to have lunch with you,” Katherine started, “I would think you could take five seconds out of your day to call me and invite me personally. There was no need to have your secretary call. I am not one of your—”
“Katherine, I’m busy. Do you want to have lunch with me or not? It’s as simple as that.”
“No. I have plans.” She really didn’t, but how could she want to be anywhere near him right now. The nerve of this man!
“Fine. You could have told this to my secretary and saved us both this argument. I will see you at home.”
“What happened to you, Phillip?” Katherine asked sadly. “You are so different. I love you so much and I want to be with you, but you seem to have no desire to be with me. What happened?”
“Katherine, I have to get back to work.”
Phillip hung up on her, not answering her questions, not caring that he hurt her, not knowing how much she wished she wasn’t in this marriage anymore. And not knowing that she felt sick to her stomach every time she thought of leaving Phillip. She had everything a woman could ever want. An unlimited credit card balance, walk-in closets that would make any model cry, two beautiful and very successful children, and a house on a beach. Why would she want to leave this? It’s a question she asks herself every day.
“I need to call Alexis,” Katherine said to herself. “She always knows what to do.” Katherine picked up the phone and called her younger sister.
“Hiya, my sister! What’s up?” her sister answered. Alexis is 10 years younger than Katherine, but you wouldn’t know it. They were both born with great genes. They both looked younger than they were.
“Phillip had his secretary call and ask me to lunch.”
“Phillip’s secretary wanted to have lunch with you? Why?”
“Lexi! Listen! Phillip had his secretary call me to find out if I want to go have lunch with him!”
“Are you kidding me?!” her sister exclaimed. “What an ass. You know. Kat, I used to like him. I’m not so sure now.”
“I know. I used to love him. Now I’m not so sure.”
“Are you ok? Sounds like you’ve been crying.”
“I’m ok. No, I haven’t been crying. I know it’s a first, right? Phillip did something to hurt me, and I didn’t cry. I guess I’m getting used to it”
“Kat, go see someone. Anyone. Talk to them. It was the best choice I made in my life. These people help you, they give you tools to work with, so you can help yourself. Please try.”
“I don’t know, Lexi. It’s so hard to talk to people I don’t know.”
“Please Kat? For me.”
“Fine. Fine! I’ll call someone today.”
“Thank you. Let me know if I can help in anyway. I know it’s hard, me living in New York still. But I’ll come visit soon. I promise.”
“Thanks Lexi. I love you. You are my rock right now, my sweet sister.”
“Hang up with me and call someone. Please. Do it today. I love you and I’ll talk to you later.”
After hanging up with her sister, Katherine decided to take a shower. She walked into her bathroom and smiled. She loved her bathroom. It was the one thing she insisted on renovating to make sure it was perfect. She had a huge shower; there could easily be four or more people in the shower. There were two beautiful rainfall showerheads, six body sprayers, and two ledges for sitting. The walls were marble tiles. Light and dark greys filled the inside of the shower. Katherine had many a fantasy about her and her husband taking showers together in there. At first, they did. They had lots of fun in their shower and in their bathtub, but then one night she told her husband a new fantasy she had, and her husband looked at her and shook his head. “It’s a shower!” he had yelled in disgust, “You have sex in a bed. Not a shower!”
Katherine never told him another fantasy again. That was over six months ago. That was when she began to notice a change in her husband. The lack of affection towards her. The stiffness in his body when she hugged or kissed him.
Looking at her bathtub, Katherine thought back to her first time in the huge spa tub. It had plenty of room for her and Phillip. She began to feel warm all over and began squirming with desire. Then the thought of that damn secretary calling her set her on a different path of feelings. Sighing, Katherine stripped out of her rope and nightgown and stepped into the shower.
Quickly washing her hair and body, Katherine stepped out of the shower. She dried her hair and straightened it. She has always loved how long and soft her hair was when she straightened it. She walked into her closet and found a very snug pair of jean shorts, her favorite push-up bra, silk panties, and a form fitting t-shirt. Her favorite sandals were under the bed.
After getting dressed, Katherine walked downstairs to the office. It was a large space. There were two huge mahogany desks, one on each side. Phillip said he wanted the desks facing each other so he could look up and see her when he worked from home. That was another time and another Phillip.
Sitting at her desk, Katherine opened her MacBook Pro and began to search for someone she could talk to. “I cannot believe I’m looking for a shrink! What has my life come to?!” She began her search with ‘Shrink for pathetic wife of 20 years’. Google came up with 126,000,000 possible answers.
“I don’t think so.”
Slamming her laptop closed, Katherine put her head in her hands and sighed. What happened to her? She used to be a successful teacher. She was so happy. Now she didn’t have to work. Not that she felt like she had to work when Phillip was a sales rep. He made plenty of money for her to stay home with the girls. She worked because it was what she loved to do. It was her passion. It gave her happiness and hope.
When they moved to Hawaii, Phillip told her he didn’t want her to work. He wanted her to enjoy life. Spend money, make friends, go to movies, become the socialite he knew she could be. Oh, how she hated the socialite lifestyle. It wasn’t her. But she tried. And she found that she was a very good host when it came to the company parties her husband insisted they have at their house.
At first, she loved those parties. Phillip would always find an excuse to touch her. A caress of the breast here and grind up against her ass there. He would wrap his arms around her waist and kiss her neck. The kiss would often be followed by a nip to the neck as well. He would smile at her from across the room wickedly, with 100 other people in the same room. Flirting with her husband was what made those parties bearable. Their lovemaking at the end of those nights were the most passionate. Katherine missed those days.
Now when they have company parties, Phillip is the perfect gentleman for the first part of the party, but then he completely ignores her! He expects her to be dressed in “appropriately covered clothing” he told her.
One time she came downstairs in a short strapless summer dress. It was new, and she wanted to show it off. The women at the party thought she looked beautiful, and some wanted to know where she got the dress from. Phillip on the other hand was enraged! You would have thought Katherine had come to the party naked. His reaction was so over the top, but she was the only one who knew it.
He walked up to her smiling, but she could see in his eyes he was angry. He grabbed her arm a little too tightly and bent down to kiss her cheek. Instead of kissing her, he scolded her.
“I told you to wear something more conservative.”
“And I told you: I am not your child, nor am I yours to order around.” Katherine broke free from his grasp and went back upstairs. She never returned. She was in no mood to entertain.
That party happened almost four months ago. That was the day she became the dutiful wife. There have been other parties, and she did as she was asked. She coordinated with the caterers, florists, decorators, and the valet people. She paid the deposits, making sure to keep receipts. She made sure the housekeepers did an extra thorough cleaning before the party and made sure the groundskeepers kept the yard beautiful.
Looking up from her hands, Katherine decided to try again. This time she googled “Therapist in Honolulu.” Google came up with 645,000 results. “Well, that’s better,” Katherine thought to herself. She decided to click on the first link that wasn’t an ad.
The link took her to a beautiful webpage. It had a picture of a very attractive woman. She had shoulder-length brown hair with blonde highlights. Her smile was soft, and her eyes were wide with hope and eagerness to help. Her name was Dr. Lacey Garcia. She has been practicing for over a decade. Not one to do things without researching, Katherine searched for information on Dr. Lacey Garcia. She went to school at Argosy University in Hawaii. She was first in her class and graduated with honors. She had excellent reviews on Google and Psychology Today.
Katherine made up her mind. She was going to see Dr. Lacey Garcia. She was finally going to find out what was wrong with her and why her husband was no longer happy with her. It was about time.
