Just as she expected, they were still stalking her. She was lucky because she managed to hide in time. However, she still miscalculated, the number of those hiding and stalking her was more than expected.

Bang...bang...

A man attacked her with gunfire. She can still dodge and hide. But she didn't know how long she could avoid their attacks.

From behind, she could see the shadow of a man with a gun pointed right at the back of her head.

"Damn woman! How did you get in this far?" Said the man.

Lucia froze, she could feel the tip of the gun right at the back of her head. She was sure she would die soon if she didn't think about how to avoid it.

"Where's Leo?"

"Oh you came to save him, huh? How brave. But unfortunately you won't meet him because you will die here, Miss-"

Bang...

The sound of gunshots rang out, Lucia closed her eyes. "Dead? Am I dead?" She thought. Strange, she didn't feel anything and she tried to open her eyes.

The man fell and the gun in his hand flew out. Someone shot him and Lucia immediately found out who did it.

A man stood with his back to the light at the end of the open space and his face could not be seen clearly. The man stood up and then fell down.

Lucia got up from her place to see who the man was. But as she started to get closer, she could see that the man was wearing the same clothes that Leo wore the last time they met.

"Leo?"

She staggered as her gut feeling strongly stated that the man who fell down after shooting the man who almost killed her was Leo. However, her steps were stopped when she was attacked again by two men.

"Bastard...!" She shouted loudly, going berserk while kicking all the small barrels nearby towards one of the men.

The man almost fell and Lucia took the opportunity to shoot her.

Bang...bang...bang...

She shot the man three times and killed the man on the spot. Meanwhile, one last man attacked her in a different way. Namely by using a knife and trying to stab her from behind.

Lucia dodged the man's attack by giving him a strong kick right in the head and responded to his attack by stabbing the man in the chest repeatedly with the katana in her hand.

"You die, bastard...!" She screamed like a crazy psychopath. Stabbed the man many times even though the man was dead.

Her body was covered in spots of her blood and also the blood of the enemies she had killed. After realizing that there was nothing left, she let go of the katana in her hand until it fell to the floor.

Her breath was short, she felt so tired and in pain all over her body. However, when she saw the man she believed was Leo still lying motionless on the floor, she endured the pain.

She approached the man, sat down and tried to turn the man's body so she could see his face.

"Leo?"

Time seemed to stop turning when she realized that this man was Leo. His face was covered in blood and wounds on his head looked like he had been beaten many times. Two gunshot marks were embedded in his shoulder and back and his left leg appeared to be broken.

"Leo? Oh God, Leo...! It's me, I came to save you!" She said softly. She took Leo in her lap and gave him a gentle touch after she was sure that Leo was still breathing.

"Lu-cia?" Leo spoke in a very weak and low voice. Lucia's tears flowed down her face and dripped onto Leo's face who was in her lap.

She couldn't hold back the pain in her chest because she had to watch someone she loved experience something terrible like this.

"It's me, calm down! Everything will be fine. The police will come soon and we'll go to the hospital!" She said.

Leo coughed and blood came out of his mouth. He gripped Lucia's hand tightly as if he was enduring excruciating pain.

"You're crazy! What are you doing? Why did you come here, hmm?"

"I came to save you!"

"You defeated them, it turns out you are still very strong."

"I will face anyone if it means saving you!"

"You idiot! You're so stupid, what if they hurt you? I won't be able to forgive myself."

"Never mind, just forget about that! I-"

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry,"

"You're not apologizing! It's all over. We're going home, I promise I'll take you home. I won't let you go through all that again, Leo. I promise I'll take care of you."

"Lucia, I can't. I can't go home to you anymore. No matter how much I want to, I can't be with you anymore."

"What are you saying? You can always come home to me. You know I'm always waiting for you. Leo, please hold on! Please, I love you so much, I want you to stay with me."

Lucia sobbed, no matter what happened and no matter how serious the injuries Leo received and even if Leo could no longer do anything, as long as he was still alive that was enough for her.

"My wounds are too serious, I don't want to burden you anymore. You are too kind, Lucia. An angel like you, can't go to hell with me."

"Please don't say that, Leo! You know I don't care about all that! I will always be with you. I swear I will never leave you again!"

"Cough-" Leo vomited blood from his mouth again. Lucia was increasingly panicking because the police and her friends had not yet arrived.

"Leo, please hold on! Help will come soon, please hold on!"

"Leo?"

"I was happy when we got married and you made my biggest dream come true for a long time, building a family with you. It only lasted for a moment, but I was very happy. I was too happy because if I died, I wouldn't regret it because I was so loved by you."

"Leo, please don't say that!"

Lucia was silent, but her tears didn't stop flowing. She heard everything she wanted to hear most from Leo. Leo loves her and her heart can never be wrong. Lucia hugged the helpless Leo and kissed him.

"Leo, keep living even if you can't do anything anymore, it's okay. I will do everything for you. I will carry you on my back like before, prepare a bed and warm water for you. I will help you bathe and I will accompany you until you fall asleep. That's why I beg you, hold on! You're the only one I want in this world."
