The Real Story

Sofia's P.O.V:

"From the day Alice came she was texting me continuously. She was asking for a chance , she wanted to talk, she was sending me almost 1 hundred texts each day. I ignored all her texts but she kept asking to talk to me once. She said she will go away after talking to me once..." Jack said.

"What happened that day was.."

Flashback:

Jack's P.O.V:

I was getting ready when my phone binged.

I looked at my phone it was a text from Alice.

"Jack please, I just want to talk once. I promise I'll leave after talking to you. I won't come between you and Sofia. I know you both love each other. Please I just want to talk."

I was tired of saying No to her continuously. She was getting on my nerves.

Her texts were very disturbing to me.

And somehow I believed her that she just wanted to talk. And talking once won't hurt After all she holds no importance in my life.

So I agreed to talk to her and finish this mess.

"Now I need to pick my beautiful Sofia " I smiled thinking about Sofia.

I wore my Jacket picked my car keys and left my room.

"My son is looking so handsome today." Mom said as she looked at me.

"Thanks mom. Where's munchkin?" I asked and mom let out a slight chuckle.

"She already left with Max. He was here to pick her up." Mom said.

"Okay then. I should get going to Sofia's house. See ya." I smiled and hugged my mom.

"Take care." Mom caressed my cheeks.

"Okay, mom." I broke the hug, and left the house.

"Take care of Sofia." Mom said loudly so that I can hear her.

"Okay, mom." I replied and got inside my car.

The whole drive her beautiful face was coming Infront of my eyes.

What can she actually wear? She told that uncle bought her a gown , I insisted to give me a picture but she refused.

She never misses a chance to tease me.

I reached the house and rang the doorbell.

Peter opened the doorbell and smiled after seeing me.

"Hey, How are you? " He gave me a man hug and told me to come inside.

I went inside and saw tiger uncle.

He smiled at me and told me to sit.

"Where's Sofia?" I asked Peter while taking a seat.

"Don't be so eager, she is getting ready." Peter chuckled.

Then I heard the sounds of heels.

I looked at the stairs and saw her walking down.

Her hair was straight and shining like silk, beautiful eyes, button nose, and most luscious lips.

She was carefully walking down the stairs.

Like an angel walking down the earth.

The dress hugged her curves so perfectly.

She was perfect. Made for me. Mine.

As soon as she came downstairs her eyes meet mine making my whole world stop.

I don't even know when I stood up as I was so busy watching her.

I took a few steps toward her.

I took her little hand in mine and kissed the back of it.

Then I removed a hair strand that was falling on her beautiful face and tucked it behind her ear.

She was blushing.

I love her blushing face so much.

"You're looking beautiful my love." I complimented and she thanked me blushing.

I don't know how long I was staring at her and I snapped out of my thought when Peter mentioned me.

I chuckled at what Peter said. He was absolutely right.

It will be impossible to take my eyes off of her.

The whole drive I watched my beautiful Sofia. She was an absolute angel.

She blushed every time I stared at her making my heart flutter.

Her every movement is addicting to me.

When we were dancing, she looked so happy, her beautiful curves moving in every movement, her hair falling on her face making her look more incredible.

She didn't notice but during the whole dance, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her.

After reaching there everything was going great until I got a text from Alice.

I got my phone out and saw a text from her.

" I really want to finish this mess." I thought and told Sofia that I'll be back in a few minutes.

I walked inside the bathroom and saw Alice.

She hugged me tightly.

"Alice, leave me." I tried to remove her but she wasn't moving.

"Please don't leave me, Jack. Please. I'm sorry for doing what I did. I'm ready to do anything, please be with me. Leave Sofia and be mine again." Alice cried.

How dare she tell me to leave Sofia.

How can she even think that I'll leave my Sofia and be with her.

"Leave me Alice." I roughly pushed her away from me.

She looked at me. Shock evident on her face.

"What's wrong with you? If this is what you want to talk then I think I made a big mistake by coming here." I said in anger and turned around to leave but she held my wrist.

"Jack, please don't go. I know you're angry with me but we can be like before. Everything will be perfect." Alice said with a sob.

I removed my hand from her grip.

"Listen Alice. You hold no importance in my life and we can never be like before. Because I don't love you." I raised my voice.

"Jack, please stop being angry. I know you love me. You said you love me. " Alice came closer cupping my cheeks.

"Stop touching me. Damnit." I shouted and removed her hands.

"Alice let me make it very clear to you that I don't love you. I love Sofia with my heart and soul and I'll always love her. No matter what I'll never stop loving her. So remove that thought from your mind that I'll love you." I said harshly.

"I can't believe what a big mistake I made by rejecting you that day. If I didn't do that we could be together. " Alice fell on her knees crying.

"You planned everything Alice just to break me. You broke me and that's when everything between us was finished." I said to make her understand that there is nothing that exists between us.

"I know I've made a huge mistake. I'm ready to do anything to earn your forgiveness. Please give me one chance." Alice cried out.

"Alice, you did that for a simple thing. Just because I rejected your cousin's proposal you played all those shitty games. I didn't even know your cousin properly. You planned everything, acted innocent, made me fall in love with you and rejected me and you called this disgusting game your revenge. You got your revenge and you left. Everything is finished. I don't love you anymore and I never loved you. The girl I fell in love with was s illusion created by you.," I said angrily.

"I couldn't forget you, Jack. I remembered you every day. I came back to fix everything I've broken and found you with that Sofia who occupied my place." Alice said Sofia's name with disgust.

"Don't you dare to say her name like that again Alice. She's a thousand percent better than you. You're disgusting, self-obsessed and pathetic." I emphasized every word of the last line.

"I know Jack. I know I'm disgusting. I know I'm self-obsessed. I know I'm pathetic. I'm the most disgusting person in the world. And I'm regretting that. I regret it badly. " Alice cried more.

I kinda started to feel pity for her. She was letting out mournful cries.

I didn't say anything in fact waited for her to speak again.

"Can't we be together again Jack? I'm ready to repent for my mistakes." Alice looked at me hopefully.

"No Alice. I love Sofia. And I won't leave her. Never. I stay with her till my last breath." I said and Alice nodded .

"I guess I deserved it, after what I did to you. I'm sorry for breaking your heart Jack. I'm sorry. I just want to tell you that I love you and I realized it after leaving you. I know it'll be hard to forget you but maybe god wants to punish me for my deeds." Alice sighed in sadness.

"Jack, can you please forgive me for what I did? I can't bear you hating me anymore. Please, can you forgive me ?" Alice asked.

I didn't want to forgive her but she actually looked guilty for she did. She looked like she is actually sorry.

"Jack I'll leave after earning your forgiveness. I won't come back ever. Please, can you forgive me?" Alice said with a little cry.

"Okay. I forgive you." I said.

As she will leave , it's better to end things on a good note.

"Holding grudges for whole life can never bring any good." Grandma used to say this whole time.

"Thank you Jack. Thank you so much." Alice got up and hugged me.

I tried to remove her but she didn't move.

"Just one last hug please." Alice cried hugging me tightly.

I sighed and stopped protesting.

"Jack, can you accept my one last request." Alice asked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Can you please just say "I love you" for one last time.?" Alice asked and I refused quickly.

There's no way I was gonna say that to her.

"Please Jack. I'll leave after this and never show you my face. I just want to hear it for one last time." Alice started crying again.

"Alice. I can't say something which I don't mean. I don't love you." I said hoping that she will understand.

" I know you don't love me. I know. And it's hurting me as much as it hurt you when I rejected you." She said making me remember how bad I felt when she broke my heart.

I knew that pain very well. How bad it feels.

"Please Jack just once. I just want to hear once before leaving. Please! Please! Please!." Alice begged in Infront of me.

I kind of felt bad for her.

If it's actually hurting her as it hurt me , then I can definitely understand how she must be feeling.

"Okay." I said and she looked at me with hope.

"I love you." I said and she pressed her lips on mine suddenly.

My eyes snapped open in shock and it met Sofia's one.

Flashback ends.

" Sofia this is what really happened that night. Trust me I'm telling you the truth." Jack hugged me tightly like he's afraid that I'll disappear.

So this was the real story.

I didn't know what to say.

His every word looked true to me.

He didn't look like he's lying.

Everything inside me wants to believe him. Fall for him again.

Everything he said makes sense.

He must be saying the truth.

"If you still don't believe me then I have proof to prove it to you." Jack said breaking the hug.
