Rebecca kicked herself in the foot
After a few minutes, Rebecca was escorted to Jackson’s office by his secretary, but when he saw her, he felt like he had seen her before.
Looking at her as she walked closer to him, Jackson realized that he only thought he knew her because she had traces of Anna’s features on her face. It was so ridiculous as he hadn’t been expecting Rebecca Cameron to resemble Anna at all.
“How much did you spend to have her facial features?” He queried, his voice holding every inch of mockery he could add.
Upon listening to his question, Rebecca faked ignorance as she quickly moved closer to Jackson to get a better view of him. “What do you mean? This is just makeup.” She muttered with the thought that she would be able to deceive him as it was more than fifteen years since they saw each other.
Meanwhile, Jackson had asked to see Rebecca’s picture five years ago after his father had told him he would be engaged to her, and she was a totally different person then and now.
The more he thought about the fact that Rebecca must have done facial surgery to look a bit like Anna, the more he felt disgusted by her appearance.
“Wouldn’t you even offer your fiance a seat?” Rebecca had to ask after she had stood for a few minutes and Jackson was just looking at her with a sickening expression on his face.
Jackson chuckled emotionlessly at her words before a condescending smile appeared on his lip.
Fiance? How dare she refer to herself with that title?
He looked at Rebecca coldly before pushing his chair backward and standing on his full length.
Rebecca gulped inwardly when she saw how tall and magnificent he was. She felt her body spammed with desire as she watched him move toward her.
“I- uhm-” She stuttered and wobbled when Jackson got in front of her because he was so devilishly attractive and she couldn’t feel her legs anymore.
Jackson gritted his teeth in annoyance at her action before grabbing her neck with his right hand. Clenching his hand around her slim neck, he watched as Rebecca’s eyes bulged in shock, but he wasn’t even done yet.
“Do you think we will find you attractive because you have a few of her facial features?” He asked, his cold eyes sinking into Rebecca’s terrified ones.
“Please.. Let… go.. of… me.” She pleaded when her breathing became irregular.
Rebecca couldn’t understand how Jackson had found out that she had done surgery to look like their runaway pet when no one else aside from her family knew about it.
Jackson snickered coldly before his eyes trailed down Rebecca’s trembling body. His expression was full of mockery, he suddenly grabbed the front of her shirt and ripped it apart.
“Do you even know what it means to be submissive? Do you know what it means to be degraded? Do you know what it means to be a fucking sex slave?” He raged as he went on ripping Rebecca’s clothes without any regard for her.
He was so angry that she dared to look like Anna to entice him.
Rebecca, who couldn’t handle the shame and how brazenly he was disgracing and insulting her, choked on her tears as she raised her hands to remove Jackson’s strong ones from her neck.
At her attempt, Jackson laughed coldly at her actions, and he removed his hand and then dropped her to the ground without caution.
“You might not know what it is to be degraded or a sex slave but you are so shameless that I can not even raise my eyes at you.” He blurted in disdain without looking at her naked body.
Tears pricked Rebecca’s eyes as she wasn’t expecting Jackson to treat her this way, and had even thought he would find her attractive for the face she had on, but she had miscalculated and now he despised her so much.
Raising her hands to her neck, she could feel the bruise he had left on it. “How could you treat me like this?” She hiccuped as she grabbed the pieces of her most expensive Versace shirt that she had worn just for him.
“I am your fiance.” The tears she had been holding back started streaming down her face as she cursed Anna in her heart.
If it wasn’t for that slut, Jackson wouldn’t have treated her this way. She was so sure of it.
“Fiance? Do you think you are worthy of being my fiance?” He asked coldly after he walked away from her and back to his seat to avoid having to look at her unappealing body.
“We were already-
“Already what? Engaged? I haven't even met you before!” Jackson blurted out with spite in his voice.
No matter how much he searched his memory after his parents showed him a picture of her five years ago, he couldn’t place her face or why she was so intent on getting married to him.
“You have, we met when I was thirteen, and you-
“Provide the artist details.” Jackson cut off Rebecca’s words before she could finish talking.
He was more interested in finding the artist than listening to any of Rebecca’s fabricated tales.
Rebecca sniffed back her tears and wrapped the pieces of her cloth around her body as she stood up and looked at Jackson’s magnificent body. “Did you like her that much?” She asked, her voice breaking off as she hiccuped.
Jackson frowned his face when he was suddenly forced to look at her again. “I love her.” He replied without hesitation. Be it five years, ten years, hundred years, he will only love Anna and no other woman.
Rebecca chuckled maniacally at his words. She couldn’t believe that after waiting for him for fifteen years, shoving off any female he show interest in, planting a spy in his office, forcing her father to propose an engagement, threatening and sending off his sex slave, she didn’t even amount to anything in his eyes.
Gritting her teeth in hatred, she looked at her torn shirt, and she cursed Anna repeatedly in her heart again before speaking. “I’ve made a deal with the artist to bring any painting of theirs to London, and they should arrive in a few weeks. Here is the name of the restaurant we were supposed to meet at. You can meet up with them to get their contact info and the art for Jacob.”
Rebecca brought out a piece of paper from her purse and dropped it on Jackson’s table. Heaving a deep sigh, she felt empty, isolated, and heartbroken.
Her obsessive journey of fifteen years, would it really end here today? Will she ever be able to stop loving Jackson? Rebecca had no reply to her thoughts before she left Jackson’s office with tears, a broken heart, and a tattered shirt.
