The anonymous famous artist
Realizing that he had almost slipped out Anna’s identity, the director chuckled awkwardly to cover up his slip. “Uhm, yeah. I mean, they. They would definitely appreciate that.” He corrected,
Jacob squinted his eyes at him before nodding, “I will be on my way then.” He said to Mr. Joseph before strolling out of the Art gallery.
Mr. Joseph, who had heard tales of how the Mikelsons, especially Jacob, had dominated the whole of London, was surprised that he had just left without causing a ruckus.
Hm.. Guess time really changes people.
Casually strolling out of the Art gallery like he wasn’t the most dreadful man in all of London.
Jacob, on his way out of the hotel he had lodged in, Jacob felt his heart fluttering as he recalled all the paintings he had seen at the Art gallery.
Thinking about them now, he realized that they all had deep meaning to them, portraying the horrible truth of the world, and how humans were struggling to survive.
Since he was born into a very wealthy and influential family, he could only relate to his emotions, and how lonely and heartbroken he was.
“Where could you be, Anna?” He muttered under his breath as his feelings took over his cold heart again.
After the night when he and Jackson had let out all their emotion over drinks and smoke, they had considered all the possible places Anna could have left for without a Visa. With the promise that he would tour all the countries and find Anna, Jacob told his twin brother to keep his emotions in check and continue working efficiently.
Sighing deeply, Jacob felt tired and empty as he walked towards his car. He couldn’t even remember how many countries, States, or cities he had been to, and even the private investigators that he had hired. But would he stop looking for her? Definitely NO.
No matter how much money or time it takes, he knew for sure that he would find Anna.
And as for the artist that made those painting, he would just inform Jackson about it, and see if he could get their contact information.
In the mood for something cold, Jacob abandoned the thought of going to the hotel directly and decided to get some ice cream instead of some chilled booze. His firm hands on the car steering wheel, he couldn't help but remember their moments with Anna in the ice cream store.
“I missed you so much.”
Until this very moment, Jacob realized that ever since Anna left, he hadn’t for once thought of eating Ice cream, and he had always avoided any Ice cream store just because they all reminded him of Anna.
Thinking about it all now, his lips lifted in a tiny smile as he pulled into the next ice cream store that he found along the highway.
Just as he was pulling in, Anna was also coming out of the Ice cream store with Marcelo in one hand and their packages in another. She was smiling brightly at her son’s amazement at a car that was just approaching.
“Mommy, look at that car. It's so cool.” Marcelo pointed at Jacob’s car but at that time, Jacob was looking for the best position to pack, so he wasn’t able to see them.
“Do you like it?” Anna asked and the little kid nodded happily. At this point, Anna couldn’t even tell if the boy had a lot of Jackson in him or Jacob.
But either way, she was so damn happy that her son was so much like the twins.
“Once you get older, I will get you all the cars you want in the world.” She promised as she ruffled his curly hair, which probably needed a cut, but she loved its texture too much to cut it.
Well, didn’t one of his fathers also have a huge garage for his cars?
“No, mommy.”
Anna frowned slightly as Marcelo’s voice interrupted her thoughts on their way to her car. “Why? You don’t want mommy to get you things when you get older?” She asked and the boy slowly nodded.
“I want to get mommy things instead.” He beamed at Anna, and she felt her heart swell with compassion. Adjusting his seat belt, she gently stroked his nose as she replied.
“Fine, when you get older, you have to buy mommy all the wonderful things in the world, okay?”
“Okay!” Marcelo yelled and Anna laughed.
As she turned to go back to the front seat, she saw the car that Marcelo was admiring again, and suddenly felt her heart pulling towards it. She dallied to see how it was, but it seemed the person was pretty occupied and wasn’t getting down anytime soon.
“Mommy, let's go.” Anna heard her son call to her and she eventually walked closer and climbed into the driver’s seat without a second glance.
Just right before Jacob packed his car, he received a call from Jackson telling him about how their mother had called and everything she had said, but Jacob still refused to share his location with her.
“She can marry Rebecca to her husband, I don’t give a fuck.” He let out before he saw a familiar figure staring at his car.
Jackson chuckled softly after listening to his brother’s voice and he replied. “You know mother would never share her man.”
Jacob frowned when he saw that the figure was still looking at him, attempting to roll down his car window, he replied to his twin brother. “Then let her marry the old fart’s daughter herself then.”
Before he could roll down, he realized that they had left.
“Uhm, Jackson, can you help find out the information about this artist?” He sent him the pictures of the painting he had taken from the Art gallery.
“Wow, how did you get to see this painting? This particular artist is also currently trending on the news. Saw this same painting a few minutes ago. Their identity wasn’t disclosed though, guessing they are incognito.”
“Oh, I see. Will you be able to find them?” Jacob asked, slightly curious.
