Plots

Jacob walked back to the bedroom with a neutral expression on his face even though he was raving inside. Everything he had just found out from Rhoda replayed in his head again, making him realize that Rebecca Cameron wasn’t the only Cameron that needed to be canceled.

If he had known that CC’s little boy, David, who he had only learned about from his brother five years ago, was the brain behind the horrible disaster that had been happening, he would have dealt with him severely.

Their father also was an eyesore to him anyways, so their whole family might as well pay for everything they had cost him.

He couldn’t hear Rhoda’s soft whimper again, but he would make sure that David Cameron especially lives a few years longer in pain, for putting fear in his family’s most treasured jewel.

As for Cole Cameron. . .

A cold smile rose on Jacob’s lips when he thought of his father’s closest friend. ‘Well, it wouldn't be that bad if the old man lost someone close to him for a change.’

Just immediately after he had finalized the demise of the Camerons, he thought of putting them into action but decided to wait for Jackson's return.

Around this time, video clips of Jackson’s interaction with Anna, and how he had carried Anna on his shoulder out of the restaurant had flooded the internet. It effortlessly became one of the best videos that some book lovers could interpret as true love, and what well-wishers could call fate.

It had reached Maria this time too and she didn’t even have to think twice or look at Marcelo, who was currently resting his head on her lap as he played Sudoku like he was playing Candy Crush to know that the Mikelson brothers were the twins Anna had told her about.

Of course, it also reached the haters, and they all started plotting what to do to make sure that Anna was forever exterminated.

Jared Luciano Mikelson was mad beyond range. He was the next person after Rebecca that would do anything not to have Anna associated with his sons.

If it was Jacob, he might have even reconsidered but he hated the fact that Anna had plunged her dirty claws into his golden child’s heart. He would do anything to expose and tarnish her image.

Not delaying his actions, he found Anna’s father’s number which he had kept all these years, just to make sure Anna never comes back to London.

Looking at the digits on his phone, he thought about it for a while before dialing.

A few seconds later, Mr. Walton’s voice came up, and Luciano almost hung up due to how slurry and muck it sounded. It was as if he was just getting up after a lot of empty bottles.

“Is this Anna Wilson’s father?” Luciano asked, his voice sounding like he was gracing him with his presence.

Upon hearing the name he hadn’t heard for five years, Mr. Walton’s heart suddenly felt stuffed with hatred. He felt like the ringleader of all his calamities had arrived again.

“What do you have to do with her?” He asked, and Luciano couldn’t help but frown at his tone as it was a bit condemning.

Deciding to test if his assumption was right, he asked Anna’s father. “I would like to speak to her, is she with you?”

With him? How can she be with him when he married her off to that old brute? How many years was it now? Mr.Walton didn’t even bother to think about it before saying that Anna wasn’t with him, and should be with her husband.

“Husband?” Luciano frowned his face as he hadn’t heard before from anyone that Anna was married or had been married. “She’s married?” He questioned again.

“Of course, I married her off. She was a burden.” He couldn’t hide the hatred in his voice again as he reached for the beer he had abandoned before he slept off.

Jared Luciano Mikelson, who didn’t know how successful Anna had become within five years, also agreed with her father that she was a burden.

“Who is she married to? Since when?” He continued interrogating Mr. Walson, who was too eager to shame Anna.

“I married her off right after her 18th birthday to pay off my ex- creditor. He was on my neck, and she was just the weight I had to carry.” He explained like he was narrating a fairy tale.

Eighteen?

Could that be five years ago? Luciano was confused at first until Mr. Walson cleared the air.

“It's been a few years now. She must have had a child or two for the old man.” He laughed cynically like he wasn’t talking about his daughter and supposed grandchildren.

Luciano asked the name of Anna’s husband’s and Mr. Walton thought about it for a while before remembering the last name of the man he had swapped his daughter to.

“Danish. He is a gambler too.” He added the only thing he could remember about Peter Danish, and Luciano finally decided that he had confirmed more than his suspicions.

Putting everything together bit by bit, he realized that he had heard the name Danish before, but he didn’t remember immediately. In between, he was sure that when he found out about Anna, she wasn’t married.

This means, she was either single then or had committed adultery.

When he thought that the latter was something Jackson should know about, he decided to find out more about Anna’s dirty past.

And who was the best person to ask if not her spiteful father?

Just as Luciano was planning his move, Rebecca, who had also noticed that the restaurant Jackson was carrying Anna out from was the same one she had sent to him to meet up with the artist

Still confused as to how Anna had suddenly pulled up there, Rebecca’s eyes glinted with hatred when she saw a parcel resting beside one of the vacant chairs in the restaurant, and she instantly put the pieces together.

Anger and resentment surged through her when she realized that she was the one that had brought back Anna from Jersey, where she was living her incognito life. Instead of blaming herself, she grew more contemptuous of Anna, and she didn’t think twice before picking up her phone.

Hatred oozing from her fingertips, she screenshots Anna’s image from the viral video to one of her father’s men that had been flirting with her for a while now.

This time, she didn’t even bother to threaten Anna with any of her family member’s pictures or the dirty stories she had learned about her.

“Since she dared to come back, she better be prepared to visit the past once again.” Rebecca gritted her teeth before sending a few words after sending Jackson’s location.

Realizing that this was more than her usual pranks, she didn't dare to tell her father for fear that he might not permit it.

Immediately the man saw the message, he replied with the name of a hotel, and Rebecca gritted her teeth in revulsion and hatred before replying with ‘deal’

Travis, the new member of the mob under CC laughed heartily as he forwarded Anna’s pictures and Jackson's location to his file. With a proud smile on his face, he called upon one of their mandem and showed him Rebecca's reply after deleting the first few messages.

“Damn, blud! You got her off her high horse! How did you pull that off?” His closest pal, who they had all bet was too shocked to believe until he looked at Rebecca’s reply again.

“So, you gettin’ a Cameron from her?” He asked and Travis replied with a little smirk before shaking his head.

“She’s too obsessed with that Jackson, blud, she will remove my child without hesitation.” Even though Travis had just recently joined, he was among the men they had left with Rebecca when she went to Jackson’s company in grand styles only to come out in tattered shirts.

It was also that day that he had directly witnessed what it means for someone to be obsessed with someone as Rebecca had cursed a particular girl all their way home.

“There’s a bitch to screw, you sure your little man is ready?” Travis asked after a while and his friend replied with ‘you bet’

Grinning, they both left for the address that Rebecca had sent along with Anna’s image without the knowledge that it was Jackson’s house and Jacob was also there.
