*Priya Pov*
“Are you fine?” Akhila asked rubbing my shoulders and I nodded at her.
“How dare he just pull me inside to say something which I already know?” Ri asked no one in particular pacing infront of us.
“Now he is saying that he likes me. Then what will he do if someone else comes and confess that they like me when we get back together?” Kritika said shaking her head sighing.
I already gave my outburst and when I calmed down these two started. I turned towards Akhila who is sitting silently beside me looking at all of us.
“Don’t you have anything to say Akhila?” I asked her frowning.
“No!” She replied in whisper.
“Tell us what you are feeling Akhila. You can forget this and move on.” I said holding her hand.
“I don’t want to forget it Di. I want to remember it forever so that I will not feel this hurt again in my life from another person.” She said leaning on the couch.
“Sometimes I really don’t understand what you are saying Akhila.” I said honestly.
“Even I don’t understand.” She said smiling.
“Ok! I will prepare some hot chocolate for us so that our nerves can calm down.” She added getting up and walked inside.
“She is not even looking like she is feeling some nerves in the first place.” Kritika mumbled.
“That’s our Di. We will never know until ofcourse Priya Di compels her.” Ri said looking at me.
“She needs time and I don’t want to compel her.” I said and they nodded.
“Did you see one thing Di? They all did it at the same time like they have planned it or something.” Ri said frowning and I nodded at her.
“Maybe they became a group or something.” Kritika said.
“I hope not!” I said sighing.
“Here you go!” Akhila said handing over our cups.
“Your husband will be lucky guy.” I said taking a sip.
“But poor guy need to feel Di’s strict wrath through his life.” Ri joked and Kritika laughed along with me.
“Maybe I will never marry.” Akhila said shrugging.
“What? Is it because of that UK?” Kritika asked frowning.
“No! I just feel like it.” She replied shrugging.
“When the time is right we will think about it. Do not worry.” I said smiling.
“Di! Were you hurt in the similar way when that… that guy left on your wedding day?” Ri asked.
“Yeah! Kind of kept my expectations little low later on everyone. But I guess I did a mistake again.” I replied.
“You both go and finish any works if you have.” Akhila said and they both nodded getting up.
“I will also go Di.” Akhila said and I nodded at her smiling.
“Good morning Ms.Priya.” One of the lecturer said when I walked inside the staff room.
“Good morning.” I greeted back.
“There is new lecturer who joined yesterday evening.” He said smiling.
“Really? For what subject?” I asked him sitting down.
“For English!” He replied and I frowned.
“Oh!” I mumbled and started taking out the required books.
“So Ms.Priya can we go out for coffee?” He asked making me frown.
“Surprise darling!” I heard a new voice and I immediately turned.
“What are you doing here?” I shouted at him.
“Looks like my surprise worked. I missed you too darling.” He said hugging me.
“Darling?” everyone whispered.
“Yes! She is my fiancé.” He replied.
“Just because you proposed to me doesn’t make me your fiancé.” I said and closed my eyes when everyone gasped.
“Its ok! I can wait darling. It is a big decision right.” He said and everyone awed at him.
I glared at him for few minutes and then smirked making him frown.
“I am so sorry darling. I am grateful to hear your proposal but I am not interest in men at all.” I said placing hands on my face.
“We dated!” He said and I can hear his gulp.
“Yes! That was just a test to see whether I can form any little interest in men. If I can form it in the most unromantic man then I can form it in anyone right.” I said looking at him.
“Challenge accepted.” He said after few seconds.
“What challenge?” I asked him in whisper.
“I will become romantic.” Replying that he walked outside the staff room.
“You already know the New English lecturer.” I heard someone asking.
“What?” I asked them in shock.
*Kritika Pov*
“What are you doing here?” I asked him when he stopped me from entering the canteen.
“Listen..” he started to say but I cut him off.
“Listen, listen! Are you trying to compose a song on that word or what?” I asked him entering the canteen but he stood stopping me from going towards the general table where I sit.
“I will not let you go until you listen.” He replied.
I sighed and sat on the chair of the table which is in the centre of the canteen. I looked at him and said “I can sit anywhere I want and you can’t actually blackmail me.”
“Is he troubling you?” Akhila Di asked and then I saw her coming towards me.
She sat beside me and looked at him raising an eyebrow. He started moving from one leg to another and walked away. He is really scared of Di. I thought chuckling.
“Share the joke with me Kri.” Ri said sitting beside Di.
“What is this? A gossip party or what?” We heard a new voice and turned to see Priya Di entering the canteen and all the second year students looked at her in shock.
“Don’t worry! I am not here as a lecturer.” Saying that she sat beside me.
“In school we used to sit like this right.” I asked them and they all nodded.
“I was in school along with you and Ri for few years but with Akhila little more than you both so we both have done this more.” Priya Di said.
I looked around to see few people are still looking at us. Ri too observed it and shouted “She is our sister so continue your lunch and stop staring at us.”
“That is so you Ri.” I heard someone saying and turned to see two girls coming towards us.
“Sit with us.” Ri said and both Khushi and Anita sat.
“I can’t believe you are sitting here leaving us.” I heard Latika’s voice and I turned to see both Ria and she are glaring at me.
“I was about to call you guys.” I said showing my phone in the hand.
“Excuses, excuses!” Latika said shaking her head and sat beside Priya Di along with Ria.
“Now don’t sulk. She is juts teasing you.” Ria said looking at my expression.
Akhila Di called her friends and they joined the table. We kept on adding the empty tables and chairs to make it a big one.
We all introduced our friends to Priya Di and just started gossiping. They were little backing off in the beginning but after few minutes they all felt normal with Priya Di which is not a shock to us.
“Look!” We heard two new voices and turned to see both Sanjay and Kalyan standing near us.
“What?” Priya Di and Akhila Di asked them.
As for Ri and me we both are looking down. Then we heard a new voice saying “Let them talk darling.”
I turned to see Bharghav Uncle coming towards us. I looked at Priya Di and asked “Darling? What is Bharghav Uncle doing here?”
“I am the new English lecturer and hey I am not that old.” He said hearing me.
“Then what should I call? Mr.Bharghav?” I asked him.
“Jiju would be good.” He replied smiling at me.
“Jiju?” I asked them in shock and everyone is looking at him in complete shock.
“He is just in delusion that I said yes to his proposal.” Priya Di said and I nodded at her.
They three stood beside each other. I sighed looking at them.
“What we want to say is…” Kalyan started saying but we all stopped looking at anyone when the whole canteen went into silence.
We all looked at the door thinking there is Princi but the person standing there having more powerful effect than Princi.
“Khushal!” Everyone whispered and he walked inside. It is a big shock because I heard he didn’t enter the canteen all these three years at all except on the fresher’s day.
He walked towards Bharghav and stood beside them. I looked at my sisters and they looked at me at the same time.
“I so.. know that these four are together planning everything.” Priya Di mumbled.
“Hey I was the one that told you about it.” I said frowning at her.
“Hey you both don’t lie. I was the one who said that.” Ri said.
“What a liar.” I said looking at her.
“Look who is talking.” Priya Di said looking at me.
We three started our fighting and then suddenly laughed along with everyone at the table. I looked at Akhila Di as she didn’t say anything to us only to see that she is not looking at any one of us.
I followed her gaze to see Khushal and he is also just looking at her. She really loves him so much. I thought sighing and looked at Ri and Priya Di to see that they are also thinking the same.
Then we heard the bell and immediately got up to leave for our classes. I looked at everyone and said “Everyday?”
“Definitely!” they all replied and we walked outside.
