Chapter331
After returning. Maureen started distributing clothes to everyone at home. Since Roy wasn’t there.
she filmed a video to show him.
But Roy was currently at the Shen residence, rumored to have a 120–square–meter walk–in closet,
“Wow, Mommy! The clothes you picked are gorgeous! Love you!”
Ethan was over the moon holding his new outfit.
“Love you too.”
Seeing his excitement, Maureen felt her own spirits lift.
Geoffrey still hadn’t received any clothes and began to wonder if she’d forgotten him.
“Reenie…”
“Yours is right here. What do you
think?
I already bought it, so you’re wearing it even if it’s awful.”
Geoffrey thought to himself, I wouldn’t know if it looked bad anyway.
“Anything you choose would look wonderful.”
He’d learned to behave, careful not to make sarcastic remarks like before.
Maureen nodded approvingly at his response.
“Reenie, could you help me try it on?”
Geoffrey added.
Flustered by his request in front of everyone, Maureen stammered, “Can’t you dress yourself?”
“My regular clothes are familiar, I know the front from back. But this new one you bought confuses me.”
Zoe chimed in immediately, “Reenie dear, why don’t you give Geoff a hand?”
Maureen had always listened to Zoe, and now that Zoe was sick, she wouldn’t go against her

wishes. She got up and took Geoffrey to his room to try on clothes.
Most of the clothes Maureen bought for Geoffrey were casual, casy to put on.
“Take off your clothes.”
After giving the order, Maureen started taking out the new clothes she bought, arranging them neatly.
When she was ready and turned to hand them to Geoffrey, she was stunned, her pupils dilating suddenly.
“Y–you, how did you take off all your clothes?”
The man in front of her had no cover at all, a perfectly proportioned body, solid muscles, eight- pack abs, and…
Maureen quickly looked away, her face burning.
Although she had given birth to Jacob and Ethan and was now pregnant with Geoffrey’s child, the two of them hadn’t actually been intimate many times.
Even though this time she came back and, for the sake of Geoffrey’s child, acted very mature, when it came to the actual act, Geoffrey always took the initiative.
Geoffrey’s handsome face was calm and composed; he had always been satisfied with his physique.
“Aren’t there still the inside clothes?”
Maureen lowered her head, not daring to look at him, and stammered: “I didn’t buy you any underwear. Quick, put your underwear back on.”
Geoffrey heard her but said, “I took it off too fast and forgot where I put it. Can you find it for me?”
Maureen felt he was doing this on purpose.
Wanting to end this quickly, she went to where his clothes were.
Before she could find it, Geoffrey leaned in from behind. She froze.
Meanwhile, Geoffrey’s blood seemed to boil all at once.
Maureen felt where he touched her, her face flushing deeper. “What are you doing?”

Geoffrey immediately stepped back. “Thought you couldn’t find it. Was going to look myself Didn’t mean to.”
His throat burned as he spoke, cars scorching hot.
Maureen frantically searched through the clothes and finally found it. “Put it on! Now!”
Geoffrey took it and dressed.
Maureen felt too awkward to help him dress now.
“Just take what I hand you and put it on.”
“Okay.”
Geoffrey understood Maureen less each day. When she first returned, she’d practically throw herself at him.
But now? He’d flirted with her outright, and she remained unmoved.
Were her hormones acting up from pregnancy? Or had he lost his charm?
The second possibility instantly soured his mood.
Maureen handed him the next piece. “Feel it. This is the front.”
”
“Okay.”
Geoffrey took it and put it on.
Despite the winter chill, Maureen felt sweltering in the enclosed space.
Geoffrey was born with a fashion model’s physique–broad shoulders, narrow waist, long legs- coupled with movie star looks that made whatever he wore stunning.
“It fits. Take it off now.”
Geoffrey stripped faster than he’d dressed.
Before Maureen could retreat, his fingers locked around her wrist.
His voice grew husky: “Reenie, remember my proposal last time?”
If you want me, say it.

She hoped to brush it off.
Geoffrey pulled her flush against his chest.
“If you want me, tell me. We’re married–it’s perfectly normal between us.”
Stunned by his persistence, she tugged at his hand: “I don’t want anything.”
“I do.”
Geoffrey’s baritone vibrated low.
Geoffrey wished he could hold her tighter.

Maureen couldn’t pry his hands away, her whole body felt feverish. “Geoffrey, let go!” she urged, growing frantic.
His throat tightened, unwilling to release her.
“Let’s share the bed tonight.”
His scorching breath brushed her ear, turning her earlobes crimson.
