Chapter 51
Brian's gaze grew suspicious on her before he smiled. "I'd really love to tell you, but that's highly confidential"
She made a pout. "Even for someone like me?
He chuckled, lowering his gaze for some seconds, "Tell me more about you. How did you and Kage get divorced? Although, there were rumours back then that it was all contracted and " she reclined in her seat, everything he said falling on almost deaf ears. He wasn't helping.
But aside the disappointing fact that he wasn't helping, another thing that bothered her was the fact that her head was starting to feel too light. Her vision blurred at some point, for only a few seconds. "Sylvie?" Brian's voice cut into her head. She looked at hint, struggling to acknowledge he was the one in front of her. "Are you... alright?" She cleared her throat, sitting up. "Y... Yeah."
"Okay. So, you know, back then when you rejected me, I'd met a lady. We got talking and... she zoned out again, her dizziness getting worst, She reached for her glass of water, gulping down a good quantity, but it didn't do much good
Okay, this wasn't looking good anymore.
She reached for her phone, sending a text to Westley. It was almost difficult due to the blur, but she hoped she was typing in the right letters. Hi I don't feel so good. Could you come pick me up? She dropped her location afterwards.
Brian continued talking and talking, even though Sylvie wasn't listening. She didn't know how long passed before he stood up.
"You
I don't look so good. Come on, I'll take you home, putting a hand on her back, he helped he from the chair,
Sylvie grunted, unable to keep her eyes open as the dizziness had gotten worst. The world seemed to rotate each time she tried looking.
Brian led her to his car, taking her purse with him. He put her in the front seat, h**ed the belt, then got into the driver's
seat.
Sylvie was almost groaning. It was getting worst. She really wasn't feeling good anymore.
Brian hit the road, and in few minutes in, a question popped into Sylvie's mind. "You don't know where I live
Brian said nothing. She forced herself to look at him, and even though everything seemed to be going in circles, she could tell he had his eyes on the road. Brian...
Relax, Sylvie. I'm taking you home," he answered coldly.
No, Sylvie didn't like the look of things.
She sat up, tugging at the door, but it wouldn't open. Of course, was locked.

Her hands moved on her thighs, but she couldn't find it. And she was too weak to look around for a proper look.
"Looking for your phone?" Brian chuckled. "Don't worry, it's safe away, in your purse."
She groaned, her head moving on the seat. "What're you doing? The words were strained with difficulty.
"What I should've done years ago. I was a fool to let you go, Sylvie. I should ve ignored all your babblings and made you

His eyes still on the road, he extended his left hand to her thighs, lifting her dress so he touches her bare skin. Sylvie was filled with irritation, she tried swatting his hand away, but he wouldn't let her. "Please...
This should ve been mine. I made a mistake, but I'm not repeating it, Sylvie. I'm sorry, but I'm claiming you,"
Sirens blared out of nowhere. Brian was confused as they had him surrounded.
"What the hell?" He muttered, still driving.
There were two police cars in front of him, blocking his path. Brian was muddled, wondering if they were for him. Sylvie hadn't called the cops, he'd made sure of that.
However, with the ooker dads standing in his way, he had to pick the only choice he had. There was no way he could run over them. So, he settled on pulling over. Perhaps, they had the wrong person and he could easily tell them Sylvie was his girlfriend who was drunk. He came to a stop. Sylvie saw the opportunity, but she couldn't take it. Her limbs were weak, she couldn't even lift a finger
anymore.
An officer approached him.

"She's my girlfriend, officer. We were just on our way home from dinner. Apparently, she had a little too much to drink, he forced a smile, his head still playing around the cop's statement. Who the hell reported the situation?
Brian couldn't afford to do that. He needed to get away from there.
However, his thoughts came to a stop when someone rushed to Sylvie's side of the door. What the hell!? Kage Hawkins!?
Sylvie?" He called.
She finally opened her eyes, although they fluttered. "Hey, you okay?"
He tried opening the door, but it wouldn't. Shifting his gaze to Brian, he gave him a very hard look. "You wanna tell me why the f**k the door is still locked?" 15.01 Wed, Oct 9 0
