Bad Influences (Part II)
Bad Influences (Part II)
“The Coven of New People Who Do Magic?” Sabine scratched yet another one of the terrible coven names that she wrote on the notepad. Slamming her head on the kitchen counter of her apartment, she murmured, “These all completely suck ass.” She looked up to see the coven members staring back at her. Some rubbed the back of their necks, while others folded their lips to keep from laughing. She let out a loud chuckle, “Alright well someone thinks they can do better, then I’m all ears."
Looking around to one another, someone finally stood and spoke, “Supreme?”
“Yes, Selah?”
Inhaling deep, Selah twisted her lips, “I actually had a name come to me in a dream.”
“Oh?”
“Yes, I was thinking...Essential Chaos.” She folded her arms to her chest, “If there is anything I learned about you saving us, as well as watching you kick ass at Rising Sun-” She chuckled, “Sometimes a little chaos is needed for things to truly change. With everything going on with us as well as everything going on in the world, I really think this fits who we are."
“Essential Chaos…” A slow bright grin slowly appeared on Sabine’s face. “I love it. Is everyone else in agreement about the name?” Claps flowed around the room, causing her to clap as well. “Then it’s settled. Selah has given us our new name.” Seeing the door open, Sabine gave Kai a genuine smile.
“How yall gonna have a meeting without me?” He asked playfully, “Yall tryna say a brother not a part of the coven? That’s sexist and I feel some type of way.”
Sabine laughed, “Stop it. You said that you were busy with Jordan and Elijah.”
He scrunched his face, “Fine, I’ll let it slide this time. All I know is next time you better include me, or I'm starting a protest.”
Sabine shook her head,“I'll veto the hell out of that protest. You can't protest against your Supreme and amazing girlfriend." She put her hand to the sky. "OH! And we finally found a name for the coven...Essential Chaos”
Kai shook his head in approval, “That’s dope. I like it.”
“Me too.” After saying goodbye to everyone, she wrapped her arms around Kai’s neck and gave him a kiss, “By the way, how has scheduling your surprise I’m not dead conference?”
“It went good, We’re going to do it on Thursday.”
“Wow, three days from now. You don’t think that’s too soon?”
He tilted his head back and forth, “A part of me does, but the other part of me just really want to get to my life and music. I feel like I can finally do the things that I want to do with my career.”
“Like what?”
He smirked, “You’ll just have to wait and see, though just know it’s gonna blow.your.mind.”
“Ugh! You’re really going to make me wait?”
“Yep!” Giving her a kiss on the cheek, he looked around, “Where’s Blaise and Beemo?”
“They went on a date.”
He smiled, “Good for little book dude.” Thinking about his sisters, he scrunched his face, “We should go on a date too. Spend some time together, especially after everything that happened.”
“Really?!” She jumped up and down in excitement, making him laugh. “Okay! What do you want to do?! Oh! I have an idea, we should totally scare the shit out of some people. Remember when I turned you into the animals? We should do that, but turn into something extinct like mammoth or a dinosaur OH THE MEGALODON!” She looked to the ceiling, “Maybe not the megalodon because we would have to stay near the water, anyway, we can go to town square and-”
“NO!” He shouted too loudly, making her jump. Loving the idea, he fought the urge to pick her up just for thinking of it.
Rubbing the back of her neck, she pouted, “Oh you hate it? I thought it would be fun. Ummm okay, what about if we do a good ole stopping hitting yourself trick” She snapped her fingers, "I know that Klaus, George, and Terrence are having poker night tomorrow, we could make then do-”
“NO, NO, NO!” He stomped his foot, “We can’t do any of those things.” He accidentally grinned at the prospect of messing with George before shaking his head, “Yeah, let's just go on a normal date. No craziness, just you and I spending time.”
“I mean-” She twisted her lips, “We’re literally chaos together. That’s why I enjoy our relationship so much. You helped me get out of my shell. To think what I would have been if I hadn’t met you is scary.”
Kia rubbed his face trying his best not to react to her words, “Doe, I think we can have one night of things being normal.”
“And if I don’t want normal?” She stepped into him, “What if I want big trouble?”
“Please don’t say that to me right now.”
She sighed, “Fine, have it your way. We’ll have a normal date.”
Sensing the fact that she was upset, he pulled her into his arms, “Mischief another time, I promise.” She looked at him and her eyes purpled. "Doe...knock it off.”
“So I can’t even get the lining knocked out of my pu-”
“FUCKING HELL!” He shouted. “You just be saying whatever you want now huh?”
She shrugged, “Learned it from you. Say what I want, get what I need. Right now, I need a VERY big-” She looked him over, “You.”
If Kia could blush, he would have. Picking her up, he shook his head,
They said nothing about that
Trying his best to keep the end of the bet, he leaned in and gave Sabine a kiss. “Chaotic sex today, normal date tomorrow?”
She laughed, “Let’s play it by ear.”
Chuckling, Kai carried her off to the bedroom. "You're really more trouble than me."
She laughed, 'Maybe, but it's only because I've met my match."
