Chapter 10: Call

After the short vacation at Tagaytay we decided to go back, kasi madami pa kaming gagawin. We both have other plans, maybe he will meet Rian.

I sounded like a fucking loser and bitter.

“Just dm me if you want to hang out, okay?” he hugs and kiss me in my forehead. “Don’t stress yourself too much, okay? I know you have a lot of work to do but you have to rest too.”

He just smiled at me, kaya naman bumaba na ako ng sasakyan niya. I wave at him and he left.

How can I not love him when he always cared for me that much? Paano kaya ang trato niya kay Rian.

I am not mad at Rian or something she is not the bad girl here, maybe Kyo really see something in her that was not even comparable to me. But honestly sometimes, I feel so insecure towards her. I want Kyo to love me.

Pumasok na ako sa loob ng bahay at sinalubong naman ako ng aking kasambahay.

“Madam, naghanda na po ako ng pagkain.”

**Next morning

“Sis, you have a meeting with your ex, he called your secretary pero wala ka pa kanina eh sakto naman kararating ko kaya ako na ang kumausap. So ayun sabi niya sa BGC nalang daw kayo mag meet then “Good morning Cous! Your ex called very early today, he called your secretary eh sakto naman kararating ko ayun kaya ako nalang ang sumagot, ewan ko ba kung bakit tumawag eh sabi may pag uusapan daw kayo baka dahil dun sa investment na pumaplpak ewan ko! Tapos magbreakfast na din daw, ang breezy ha. Dumadamoves ata yang ex mo sayo, kaloka.” Salubong ni Tiara sakin kayat napakunot ang aking noo.

“What’s the meeting all about daw ba? Wala akong maalala na kailangan pag usapan personally, pwede naman siya mag email nalang kung business related but we are not partners naman. Weird.”

“Abah!! Ewan ko baka gusto kalang makita niyang ex mong breezy, sige na I have to go. Mag ready ka na sis. Paganda ka, para maakit mo yang ex mo at matapos na yang revenge thingy mo. Amp!”

“So nosy, Tiara.”

“Whatever, wala ka pang pasalubong sakin galing Tagaytay ha.” At nagdabog siyang umalis kaya napangiti ako. Tiara is such a cutie girl.

I dialled his number.

“Hello. Who is this?” maawtoridad na tanong nito

“Mr. Buenavista, this is Marielle Montemayor. I heard you called my secretary. May I ask what’s the meeting all about, because as far as I remember we have nothing to discuss.”

“Can we just meet? I have to say something important.”

“If its about the Chua’s investment in your company, I have nothing to talk about it. They chose to invest in my company, Mr. Buenavista.”

“Its not about it, please meet me. I will wait for you. I will text the details of the address. Bye Steffi.” He sounded so sad.

But I don’t care. Kahit na masaktan siya sa pang sasabotahe ko. Wala na akong pake.

Okay fine! Pupuntahan ko na siya. Let’s try to hear him out.
