Chapter 25 25.Shut up

Chapter 25 25.Shut up
Tabitha’s POV

His knuckles drag along the front of my underwear. The contact jolts something deep in me, and I can’t hold back the sound that spills from my lips.

His knuckles drag along the front of my underwear. The touch sparks through me, and a sound slips out before I can stop it.

“Luca…” I breathe, the name falling from me like a plea. My hips betray me, arching ever so slightly into his touch.

He lets out a quiet sound that might be a laugh. “Your underwear’s soaked. Tell me, did the rain do that? Or is it something else?”

I bite my lips before I can moan his name again. My body pulses with need as his fingers slip past the edge of my underwear.

Oh god…

The contact is bare, hot, devastating. My knees nearly give. He strokes me with two fingers, lazily at first, like he’s just getting a feel for how badly I want this. I squirm in his his arms and twist my head to the right, moaning into his chest. He leans in close, lips brushing my temple.

“Say it,” he whispers. “Say how much you want this, Tabitha.”

I don’t speak, but my hips shift again. His fingers answer me, stroking deeper this time, spreading slickness as he works me open. My body rocks with each touch, aching harder with every pass.

“You’ve been like this since I stepped in here,” he says. “Don’t even try to lie. You know how werewolf nose works, my sweet stepsister. We can smell everything… even your arousal. Especially your arousal.”

My hands grip the front of his shirt. I’m not sure if I’m holding on for balance or trying to pull him closer. Maybe both. I hate that I’m giving in like this, but I want more. I need more.

“You’re soaked for me,” Luca whispers while trailing hot kisses on my neck. “And the best part is your body is still begging for more. The smell of your desperation is so delicious.”

A whimper slips past my lips. I don’t dare meet his gaze. My whole body’s trembling, wound too tight, and he feels it. He kisses just beneath my ear, the warmth of his breath brushing my neck, his touch shifting to a barely-there tease that makes my thighs chase after it.

“You’re pulsing in my hand. So soft. Your thighs are clenching around my hand like you don’t want to let it go,” he teases some more.

“Shut up,” I whisper half-heartedly.

He smiles against my skin. “Make me. Or better yet, beg me not to stop.”

My resolve falters. My legs spread wider before I can stop them, chasing the pressure of his fingers. He keeps going, parting my velvety folds with his fingers and then rubbing my aching clit with his thumb.

“I…” My voice cracks as he strokes right over that perfect spot. I shudder, my back lifting as a broken gasp escapes. “Luca—”

“Say it,” he murmurs, his lips skimming the corner of my mouth. “Tell me you want this.”

Thunder crashes above, masking the moan that slips from my throat. His fingers press in deeper, rubbing teasing strokes around my nub until my mind melts into a puddle.

“Oh god,” I pant. My legs are shaking, and I can barely stay upright.
“Say it, Tabitha…” He coaxes.

I can’t take it anymore. “I like it!” I croak, eyes shut tight. “I like it, okay? I need it.”

“That’s more like it,” he says, pleased. “My filthy little stepsister, soaking my fingers and begging for more.”

I moan again, louder this time, as lightning flashes through the cracks in the wooden shed. The world outside is blinding for a heartbeat, and inside, I’m unraveling. My spine arches in time with the next flash. I’m so close to reaching the edge, just a few more strokes…

A sharp honk blares just outside. Bright and sudden headlights sweep into the shed, making me jolt upright. A black Mercedes skids into view, parking crooked in front of us.

Oh my god!

I shove Luca away with all the strength I can muster. My chest rises and falls in ragged bursts. He backs off slowly, lips twitching like he’s proud of what he’s done. I watch Luca lift his hand and bring the finger to his lips. He slides it into his mouth and sucks, his gaze never leaving mine. My stomach flips as warmth floods my limbs.

The sharp slam of a car door jolts me out of whatever trance I was in. Through the sheets of rain, I catch a glimpse of Wyatt hurrying toward the shed with an umbrella in hand. He slows as he nears the entrance. His eyes narrow as they adjust to the dimness inside the shed. His gaze lands on me and then on Luca.

“I found one umbrella in the trunk,” he says, his voice edged with confusion as his gaze lingers on me. “I didn’t know you were here too, Tabitha.” He glances down at the single one he’s holding. “I only brought one.”

“Give it to her,” Luca orders before rising up to exit the shed.

Wyatt hesitates for a moment, then steps forward and hands me the umbrella. I’m too stunned to speak. Luca walks into the rain, heading straight for my bike. He lifts it with ease and secures it onto the rack at the back of the black car, rain soaking through his clothes as he works. He looks at me and lifts a brow, the flash of lightning catching the sharp lines of his face like it was carved to be seen in storms.

“What are you waiting for? Get in the car, Tabitha,” he says, turning away.

He slips into the backseat, drenched and unbothered. I follow, the umbrella shielding me from the worst of the rain as I slide in beside him. Wyatt gets in front with the driver, and the car pulls away from the shed.

Inside, it’s quiet. The patter of rain against the windows fills the silence. My heartbeat hasn’t slowed. I steal a glance at Luca. His eyes are closed, his head leaned back like he hasn’t a care in the world. Like he didn’t just touch me the way he did a minute ago.
