CHAPTER 48
TYSON
"She's totally getting out of hand, something needs to be done!" Collette yelled in anger and I stood up and ruffled my hair.
"You think I don't know that?" I hissed at my sister's statement.
"I think you're being too dull with her letting her get things to be done her way."
"Wow! And what have you done? Do you want me to kill her and lose the throne so you would be happy?"
"Tyson, are you blind?" She screamed.
"This useless rogue is wielding power over everyone, Mum is on her side, dad is not saying anything and whatever you do to her is totally useless no matter how many times you punish her. I've been seeing Tyler hanging around her lately and you're okay with that?"
"I never said I'm okay with that, let's just wait until the 90 days are over."
"Then what happens after the 90 days?"
I sighed and blew out my breath, she's right. What will happen after the ninety days? There's nothing absolutely we can do to that girl, not even accusing her or anything.
She always wins and it always irks me.
"What do you suggest we do, Collette?"
"Kill her!!"
I gasped.
"There's nothing that will happen except that, we can't let one useless rogue take over the throne or do you want Marcella to keep running around by the side when she's supposed to be leading in front!"
"But we can't just kill her, jeez! It's a taboo. She's my fated mate for crying out loud."
"You don't have to be the one to kill her" She suggested.
"Collette, I'm in pain as you are and I will do anything to get Veieva out of the picture but not kill her. Erase that thought, I'm not killing my mate."
"Are you kidding me?"
"I'm serious! Don't even try that, we'll look for a way to terminate her once her days are complete."
She stood up furiously and came so close to me.
"You keep pampering her just because of the throne."
"Not 'just' but it's because of the throne. You think you can push me to do something heinous as killing my mate while you go scot free, do you want me to be cursed?"
I yelled at her and she scoffed.
" You better break that mate bond that's making you look weak and come back to your senses. I'll pretend I never had this conversation with you."
She said and walked out while I hit my head on the wall softly.
Collette is totally thinking out of the box and it's making me go crazy at the tight spot that girl has put us into.
I walked outside and headed for her room, maybe I could coerce her into fleeing from the palace but staring at her face, threatening me that I can't do anything gave me chills.
I regretted making it so obvious that I hated her, giving room for heavy suspicion and making it so impossible for anyone to believe him because of his hatred.
Maybe if I had pretended to love her in the masses eyes, it would have been possible to accuse her of anything so that my mum especially can believe me.
I pushed the door open and she wasn't inside, why I'm still going to meet her is what makes me feel so stupid.
I have nothing sensible to tell her and she will always rile me up but why isn't she here?
I searched everywhere but she wasn't inside and I went out.
"Have you seen Zenevieva?"
I asked one of the maids that passed and at that same moment they both stepped in.
Tyler was holding Zenevieva's hands and they were both smiling over the nonsense discussion they were having.
They stopped when they saw me and not even a hint of fear was in their eyes and that infuriated me the most.
"Where are you coming from?" I shot daggers at Vieva but she stared back sharply at me right to my balls that I even had to be the one to flinch.
What the actual fuck?
"Are you deaf?" I roared.
"No! Not now Tyson, she's had enough."
"I wasn't referring to you Tyler!" I commanded at him.
"I know, but you shouldn't yell at her either, don't you get tired? Are you possessed with some kind of a bloodlust or something?"
I gave a wry chuckle and pinched my nose.
"Are you a sort of a bodyguard or what? Get the fuck out of my way, I'm taking to her."
"It's your Queen not her, your Luna and your mate! You can't even accept that."
"What's your problem Tyler!" I'm beginning to get extremely infuriated at him.
"I don't have a problem."
"Then fuck off." I growled.
"I think that's enough already, I went out for a walk with Tyler and we are back. Happy now."
She said nonchalantly and I connected my palms to her cheeks and she hissed in pain and Tyler's eyes flashed in rage.
"You have no right to leave this palace, especially not with my beta who has dozens of things to take care of in the Pack."
"I took her out okay, don't lay your hands on the Queen….ever again!"
"Are you referring to me?"
"I don't give a fuck about whatever grudge you have with her but I'll report you to the council of elders if you keep treating and hitting her like a slave!" He yelled at me furiously and I laughed.
"Wow, she's hypnotized you also?"
"If you have time to treat her like so Inhumane, you should stand by the mirror and ask yourself who you are, who your wolf is and what you're slowly turning to everyday, a monster or a devil."
"You have no right to talk to me like that!"
I fired.
"I have every right to talk to you as my friend and I don't care whether you punish me with whatever title that's got into your head, just stay away!"
He said and dragged Zenevieva away from my sight and my wolf howled in anger. She's slowly making everyone turn away from me and she must pay!
I actually don't care whether she dies right now or not, She's slowly crawling into everyone's heart like a poison and I need to kill that venom before it becomes impossible.
