"Thank you, you may leave now."
I told the doctor and he bowed.
"Congratulations Alpha."
I passed a tight smile to him and he left while I didn't even know how to react at all.
The test results reveal that she's pregnant. It's obvious that Zenevieva was already aware of that and told no one.
Why would she hide it from me?
Tch! She even told Kyle, making me look more stupid and cornered.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited that she's pregnant for me but the thought of Kyle knowing that before me fueled my whole body in rage.
I should know too, atleast I should have been give a heads up.
She barged in and sighed.
"Can you come over already, we shouldn't keep the king waiting." She blurted out as if I was the annoying thing to her right now.
"Why do you still hate me?" I asked her eagerly and she groaned and tugged her hair.
"Will you stop it Tyson, I don't hate you anymore."
"Then why will you hide things from me? You knew from the onset that you were pregnant and you kept shut, making me handle you roughly and stressing you everywhere. Why did you tell Kyle instead of me." I vented out my frustration and she just glared at me.
"Oh Lord! You look worse when jealous."
She retorted and I yelled in denial.
"I'm not!"
She sighed and raised her hands in the air.
"Fine! When I discovered I was pregnant, I was having second thoughts. You said you needed an heir, so I chose to just keep quiet until it became visible to everyone, give birth to your heir and get lost in your life."
I gasped at the last statement as my heart slammed heavily.
"Kyle kept coming and I knew I needed to stop leading him on and told him about my state, if things were still the same with me after I returned and continued to be treated as your puppet; I would have given birth and continued with Kyle but how can I when you keep making my heart flutter every day?"
She pouted and I gasped, sighing in relief and taking her arms.
"I'm sorry I misunderstood everything, I thought you still valued Kyle so much."
"I care about him Tyson, it won't change it but I love you."
She said that for the first time and I froze and I swallowed.
"Did you just say…" my voice trailed, not beleiving my ears.
"Hmm…you left me with no choice. So better be good and stop being so cute."
She kissed my forehead and my heart was on fire.
"Please do that again." I dragged her back and begged and she chuckled.
"I'll do more when we are done with you dad, common let's go."
She whined and I smiled, hugging her tightly one more time until she faked a choking sound.
"Thank you Vieva, but I want a girl you know."
I said as we both walked out and she scoffed at me.
"I get to choose the gender I want and it's a boy. Case closed."
I nodded and chuckled, watching her beautiful expression till we reached the royal chambers.
We were supposed to go to his room but we were met with shock when we saw him sitting on the chair at the royal hall with everyone present.
Even Collette was seated and I wondered if he had to call everybody.
We both went in, stealing the spotlight and settling down.
My dad cleared his throat and started.
"I'm glad you all came out but what is Collette doing here?"
He asked and frowned and I felt disturbed.
"I asked her to come."
Mum said and I sighed in relief, he would have definitely made things worse by slandering her without any proof about her condition which would have made things worse for her but with mum's intervention, he'll definitely let go.
"Alright, I'll start with appreciating Zenevieva for making me this healthy. She's truly a worthy Luna and a good daughter in law. I hope I don't have any reasons to hide your gift anymore."
He told her and she smiled bowing down.
"I'll start with Morning Rose Pack." He said and my countenance changed, I really wanted to know what happened too.
"It was never my intention. My beta made mention of taking over an underdeveloped pack which I was strongly against. He told me about their agreement to it and Mudville merging the pack together to make it one so we'll improve the necessary, stating about their weaknesses and daily crimes which seemed true back then because of the incessant wars that was going on and I gave my order to get the get the current Alpha to confirm with him.
Note, I wasn't aware of how large the Pack was.
Ethan's dad was present when I gave the order, he was also interested until he suggested burning down some old buildings which I just shrugged about it only for him to give orders to my men to burn down the whole Pack."
A full gasped echoed in the room as he continued.
"I discovered that a lot were killed and he did it for his personal gain. Marcella's dad had a grudge against the Alpha because he didn't secure the position of a Beta in the pack instead before choosing to come to Mudville."
"Marcella's Dad?" I yelled.
"Hmm, I dropped him immediately and couldn't do anything to restore the pack as I became suddenly sick. I'm really sorry Zenevieva, I had no idea that the Alpha of Morning Rose was your father. You repaid me with kindness despite the fact that you had the mindset that I destroyed your pack. I can't bring your parents but I'll make sure Mudville Pack make it up to you."
My dad said and she wept bitterly nodding her head which made me coerced her.
I've never felt so relieved in my life,my dad was ruthless at some point to other packs so I never doubted it when it was said that he had a hand in her pack.
I saw his men with my own eyes burning the pack but under someone else's order.
"Thank you very much Zenevieva, I respect your golden heart."
My dad said sincerely and I smiled.
"So he destroyed a large pack, became a Beta and amass wealth in Mudville before going to create his own pack right?" My mum asked with spite.
"What are you going to do with them?"
She asked.
"I'll destroy the pack In the same way they did that to hers."
"My men are on it " Kyle blurted out and we all turned to stare at him.
"When we got abducted, my men were already there. I knew Marcella gave off an eerie vibe so I sent them to mix up with the guards to get some vital information so it was easy for us to get out after all the rants and bants thrown at us by her mum."
"That's smart, you're smart." I winked at him and he glared.
"So I'll request your permission to let me punish Marcella according to the Law for the last time."
He said and I scoffed.
"That was my duty!"
"I think you should focus more on your Luna who is now pregnant and stop being vengeful!"
"What?" My mum eyes brighten like that of a cat eyes and I knew my dear Zenevieva will be dragged away from me anytime soon.
"Oh my
God, come here!" She broke down and gestured at me to get lost.
Just like that, the whole hall became noisy with happiness.
