TYSON.
My heart seemed to be triggered by my intense anxiety as I felt a sharp pain slice through me.
I didn't feel any pain ever since I took the drink but right now, I don't know how to describe how I'm feeling right now.
I'm searching everywhere for Zenevieva and I can't get a clue as to where she went when she was supposed to be in her room or mine.
I'm flinging the guards and maids asking about her whereabouts and combing the entire palace for Zenevieva that I resulted into praying so hard for her to just be okay in one piece or I will lose it.
I bumped hard into Tyler and we both collided on the floor.
"You're an Alpha for screaming out loud! Stop running!"
He hissed in pain and I tugged at his shirt tightly.
"Where's Zenevieva? Have you seen her?" I ask in Panic.
"The fact that you've suddenly got a claim on her shouldn't make you act so childish and clingy. She's going to come back if she steps out." Tyler kept sputtering out rubbish.
"No!" My lips trembled. "Marcella said she was going to hurt her!"
He frowned deeply at me and sighed.
"Can you listen to yourself right now, how is that possible?" He gasped and I groaned in frustration.
"I asked myself the same question too but she has allies in this pack. She already hurt Kyle before coming here and she had her motives before willingly submitting herself in disguise of seeking for forgiveness."
His eyes widened.
"We don't have time Tyler, where is she? I need to know if she is safe. We don't have time at all."
I trembled and he nodded.
"Let's check around, I'll look for Lexa while you do the same to Zenevieva. Be fast already!"
I already left even before he said those words finished and disappeared into thin air to search for her , making Marcella's words so true that my heart thumped faster than normal.
Lexa wasn't found and so was Zenevieva, what if they were kidnapped? Did they go out for something?
I rushed to the gate at once and the guards seeing me disheveled made them open the gate but immediately I took a step outside, I froze in deep fear and shock.
"Zenevieva?" I crouched to the ground as she lay right there in front of the gate unconscious.
"Call the Pack doctor immediately!" I yelled and scooped her in my arms carrying her Inside and straight to my room I went Into a total panic attack.
I was breathing more than normal and wincing in harsh breaths that my head spun and pounded heavily.
The door opened immediately and the shock that left his lips made my heart drop and squeezed tightly in pain that I groaned.
"Shit Tyson! Breath." It was Tyler, he saw Lexa after all as she walked to meet her on the bed.
"Stop it and breathe calmly before you trigger your pain again. Just breathe carefully and slowly, she's going to be alright, Zenevieva is going to be fine. Now breathe in…I promise, the doctor is only here and you can only breathe out now to stabilize your heart and continue that way slowly.
Good! Just breathe in, please. Close your eyes!"
He yelled when he saw that my eyes were only fixed on the woman lying down on the bed.
"That's good Tyson, please continue that way and breathe calmly okay?"
I did the same and breathed slowly assuring myself that I won't lose her until my muscles relaxed and I fluttered my eyes open when the door clicked open and the doctor came in.
"I was asked to" I cut the doctor off his words.
"Just check what's wrong with her and treat her immediately please."
I shakily told him and turned to Tyler.
"Please send the men to check on Kyle immediately!" I told him.
He frowned. "Why?"
"No, don't send anyone, go alone. I think I have some traitors among the maid or the guards. They've ganged with Marcella." I explained and he gasped.
"Is anything wrong with Kyle?" He asked me in worry and I shook my head.
"I don't know, but she did say that she already hurt him by neglecting her. My sister is not left out either, I just hope that she's safe."I rambled endlessly.
"That girl is crazy." He cursed.
"Please check on Kyle, if Zenevieva discovers that something bad happened to him, she'll flip and go haywire. I don't want anything to make her sad." I told him.
He nodded and left the room while I turned to Lexa who was just staring at the doctor, looking extremely worried.
"What happened?" I blurted out asking and she turned to me and bowed very low.
"She wanted to get some herbs outside the palace and asked me to come with her." She said, cowering in fear.
"Raise your head and speak." I seethed
"Thank you, a maid came before us and told us that the Beta actually sent for her and she wanted to leave but she had to go back and check on him only to be disappointed without seeing him and I saw her chewing an apple when she came out.
We had reached the gate when she collapsed all of a sudden and I had to yell and scream only to be dragged to god's nowhere until he came"
She sighed anxiously and continued.
"I think the fruit was poisoned, that could only explain why she passed out."
I sighed shakily and nodded.
Marcella wasn't bluffing after all, I prayed for Kyle not to act stupid and fall into the hands of his men. She was going to use his most trusted me and carry out her demonic plan.
The doctor sighed and stood up.
"What is the problem, is there any issue?" I asked him.
"We'll find out after I run some tests on
her but I don't think she was poisoned. She's very fine, I think she passed out from dizziness and stress. This medication will help when she gets up till the tests are confirmed."
He said and bowed, making me confused.
If she isn't poisoned does it mean that she didn't fall into Marcella's trap? What kind of stress did Zenevieva undergo aside from crying her eyes out?
"Don't leave her sight please." I pleaded with Lexa and she nodded.
"I need to deal with someone right away."
