Chapter 106 Chapter 57

Chapter 106 Chapter 57
Lhalahine saw Mari's expression lighten, as if she were relieved by hearing her response. She raised an eyebrow. I wonder what's going on that would cause Mari to react like that. She was about to ask, but Shyra spoke.

“Ah, I know, it was Attorney!?” The woman clapped as if she had won the lottery.

“That's my girl; you're taking everything off, even your panties, huh? That’s good; learn from the expert,” Shyra proudly said and put her hair behind her ear.

She just stared at her friend; sometimes, she couldn't handle Shyra's craziness anymore.

“So, how is it? Wild, huh? Mild?? Oh, passionate?” Later, Shyra asked about it when she didn't say anything.

She slapped Shyra’s mouth. "Shyra! Watch your mouth; let's not talk about it," she said, averting her gaze.

Shyra pouted. “How stingy she is, isn’t she, Doctor? Hey, what about you, Doc? How is your sex life with your husband?”Suddenly, Shyra turned to Mari, who had just been looking at the two of them.

She saw Mari looking down.

“Well, my husband and I aren't your typical married couple. You know we were just arranged, right? And besides, he has many women who can satisfy his needs; he doesn't need me anymore," she explained seriously, and she saw the woman clench her fist.

So she kicked Shyra's foot under the table to stop her from asking any more questions. She can feel that Mari is going through something that she's not ready to talk about. Well, they need to understand that.

I saw Shyra just clench her mouth, especially when she noticed Mari was staring blankly.

"Let's just eat," Shyra said instead.

And she agreed. They talked about many other things, but they avoided topics that could offend either of them.

It's been three days since something happened between her and Tyeron. In those past days, he didn't even show himself to her, so she couldn't help but feel hurt. It hurts to be forgotten for the second time, which is why she's standing there blankly in front of Mari. They are in a store inside the mall.

“Hey, are you okay?” Mari asked her, which made her blink.

“Yes, I'm okay, sorry, where were we?” she said. She was feeling down.

The woman stared at her for a long time. “I don't think you are, Lyn. I've noticed since yesterday that you've been suddenly lost in thought. Is there anything I can help you with?” Mari asked worriedly.

She was about to answer her friend, but her eyes caught the familiar figure sitting inside a coffee shop across from the store where she and Mari were. She stared at the man's figure for a long time, and suddenly she felt cold when she saw Gleanne, the woman the man was talking to. It's now in side view towards him. It's Tyeron, the man she's talking to. She looked away when the man held the woman's hand across the table. But he couldn't handle what happened next: Tyeron stood up and hugged the woman.

Until tears streamed from her eyes at what she witnessed. Why would she be surprised that the man forgot about her when, after all, he wanted someone else? Gleanne is the one he wants to be with him, not her. She was abandoned by the man because he wanted to marry someone else, and it wasn't her.

"Get me out of here; please let's get out of here; kindly get me out of here, Mari," she pleaded, crying and pulling Mari's arm.

She saw that Mari was hurt, but it didn't ask any questions or complain; it just followed her. When they got to the car, she quickly got in and sobbed in the backseat. Why did she forget? Tyeron's wedding is tomorrow, so that's why he's been busy. He's busy with Gleanne's wedding. Her chest pain was so severe, it felt like it was being cut repeatedly.

"It hurts, it hurts so much!" she groaned, clutching her chest.

While Mari was just leaning back in the driver's seat, she let her cry and vent.

After a few minutes, she closed her eyes and leaned her head against the back of the chair, looking tired.

“Should I start the engine now? Where do you want us to go?” Mari asked gently.

She took a deep breath. “I don't know, Mari, I don't know. I don't know where I'm going or what I'm going to do. I don't know what I should feel; all I know right now is that I'm hurting, I'm hurting," she said, crying.

"You know what,  Lyn. You are still lucky you have throne, you can leave and start a new life again, unlike me. Even if it's killing me every time I go home, and I see my husband having sex with different girls every day, I can't leave. I can't leave him; I can't have my freedom. You're still lucky, Lyn. So, don't give up; you have Throne. As long as you have him, you still have hope, a reason to live. Your son needs you...embrace the pain for a while, but don't let that pain break you," Mari said to her softly and gently, but her words were so deep that they hit her.

She became quiet. “Oh, my baby, Throne, I'm sorry.” She immediately wiped away her tears.

“You're right, I need to be strong, not just for myself, but for my baby. I should keep my distance from him; I'm tired of hoping he'll remember me. I'm tired of hoping he'll notice me too; maybe this is enough, it's enough.”

When night came, she decided to go back to the Philippines tomorrow. She doesn't want to see the two of them get married; it might kill her. It's better that she didn't see it; she wouldn't know. She quickly packed her things; her flight was early tomorrow. Luckily, Mari helped her get a quick flight. She didn't want to tell anyone else yet, especially her family, that she was coming home. Just thinking about her parents' reaction, she was already scared, but she had no choice. They need to know about Throne, because if she's asked who the father is, she won't say the truth; she doesn't want chaos, and she'll take this on herself for her child.

The next morning, Tyeron woke up early to visit Lhalahine and their son. Yes, he already knew Throne was his child. Lara said she once went to Maximo's house, and they were able to talk. He jumped so high with joy that it's no wonder he felt so close to the child, because his blood and flesh flowed through its body.

After he took a shower, he immediately went out of the bathroom. He was about to get dressed when his phone rang. He wouldn't have answered; maybe it was his dad. They fought, so he called off the wedding, and his father couldn't accept that. He even threatened him, but he just left. She stopped drying her hair when she noticed her phone wouldn't stop ringing.

He sighed and picked it up. “Hello? Who is this?” He asked a serious question.

“Where are you?”

He looked at the number in surprise. “Heckson? Is this you? Why did you call?”

“Yeah, it's me. I called you to let you know that the love of your life has a flight back to the Philippines this morning at five am. I think she'll be arriving in the Philippines in a few hours. Well, if you want to be happy, get dressed and follow Lhalhaine because Maximo said neither he nor Lara knew Lhalhaine was leaving, and Mikael found out Mari booked the flight. We're here at the hangout–”  as he was saying this, he was cut off because he didn't understand anything except that Lhalhaine left without saying goodbye.

“WHAT??”

“What are you saying there? Hurry up and head to the airport; I'll prepare the private plane. We'll be right there; the lovebirds are just having a little L.Q.," Heckson added seriously.

He did hear people arguing in the background.

“Whose lovebird is that?” he asked, quickly putting on his clothes and pants.

“You can gossip later; focus on your love life first. Because I'm finally curious, hahaha," his friend said jokingly.

“Did Mikael track Lhalhaine yet?” He asked a serious question.

"Of course, as if you didn't know these friends of yours are agents," Heckson boasted.

He just laughed and said goodbye; he needed to catch up with Lhalhaine. “I don't want to lose you now, my angel. Wherever you go, I'll follow you," he thought to himself and sped the car towards the airport.
