Chapter 103 Chapter 54
Chapter 103 Chapter 54
When evening came, she needed to go home to check on their son, Throne, so she could also get what she needed. She was happy because Tyeron himself offered to help him remember her, but the joy and hope she felt were suddenly replaced by pain. She caught Tyeron with Gleanne, who was sitting in the chair where she had been sitting, having taken her place. When she arrived at the hospital from home, she was quick, but there was an immediate consequence.
“Oh, Lyn. You're here, by the way. Thank you for taking care of my baby," she greeted her with a smile.
She looked away and forced a smile, nodding at the same time. Her gaze turned to Tyron, who was already sitting on the bed, holding a peeled apple. She didn't know why, but she felt terrible every time she thought of the two of them having a moment.
"You can rest now, Lyn. I'll be here. I'll take care of him," the woman added, then held the man's hand.
Tyeron didn't say a word, just stared at the two of them. She looked up so the tears welling in her eyes wouldn't fall, and she smiled and nodded.
"Okay, I'm leaving now," she said and turned away. She didn't bother looking at the man anymore.
The next day, she was leaning on the counter. Yes, she was back here at her coffee shop. There weren't many customers because it was still working hours at around 10 am. She looked up when she heard the door open.
“Lyn!!” Shyra called to her from the doorway.
She just shook her head; this woman had no shame. She sighed and walked toward where she was to talk to her.
“Oh? Why are you making that face? Did you lose?” Shyra immediately asks her.
She pulled Shyra toward the spot where they were usually seated. She didn't say anything; she just frowned.
“Hey, witch, are you still here? Maybe you're on another planet now. What happened anyway?” Shyra questioned her persistence.
She sighed. “Why is it? I was only gone for a moment, and there's already a replacement?” She frowned, looking annoyed.
“Who told you to leave? Who told you to give up? And who told you to set him free? No one. Right? So, even if someone replaces you, just go with it. Don't leave if you know you can't handle it; don't give in if you know you'll regret it. Don't let go if you know you can't bear to see him with someone else. You love to fight, not to give up, okay?” Shyra's heartfelt advice.
She stared at her friend, realizing this crazy person could be relied on sometimes, and she nodded.
“Oh yeah, right? But what if she's the one holding the rights? And not me? I mean, Tyeron does not remember me or acknowledge me, but he was now engaged with that girl, and I don’t see any resistance from him,” she said with a long face.
Shyra adjusted the mirror. Yes, the witch was looking in the mirror; she didn't know where she picked it up.
“That's not right! It's only natural that you'd fight for your feelings because, in the first place, you're the original. It was just a coincidence that he forgot you. You can still try to seduce him when his so-called fiancée isn't looking. You know, sis, you just lack strategy. Listen to me so you can steal what's yours, okay?” Shyra said seriously.
“Is that so?” she asked.
“Yes, sis, that's how it is! Just you. I don't have any hopeless romantic friends, so fight, or I'll shave your head! You know your time is short, so give it your all. If you need to lower your pride, then lower it. Don't save any, because as Ruffa Mae says, "This is all-out!" Her friend even copies the posts after the Mala Ruffa Mae. The comedian-actress of the Philippines.
"You can also lower your panties if you want; it’s most effective, I think," Shyra said to her.
She smiled, because it was true; it was because the saying goes, "She will lose her mind, not her love. You only get one chance to fall in love, so fight for it.’
That day, she decided to do everything and anything to make a scene and win Tyeron back. She knows the man is confused right now.
Meanwhile, Tyeron is being discharged today, so his crazy friends have arrived and are teasing him. Heckson is the leader.
“Do you want us to carry you again, Ty?” Heckson said, teasing Tyeron.
“Oh yeah, you know those four African men, the ones carrying the coffin and dancing? Do you want us to do that for you, buddy?” Mikael suggested with a smile.
Cyrex and Meruem just watched and laughed.
Tyeron glared at the two of them.
"Well, if I did that to you, would you be happy?" Tyeron said, frowning.
He's not in the mood to joke around with his two friends. Besides, he was annoyed at staying for too long at this hospital; he was also angry at the idea that Lhalhaine didn't even bother to come back and visit him. Did he think she would agree to what he wanted to happen, but it seems like she's changed her mind?
“Babe, hey!”
He blinked when he heard Gleanne's voice. She smiled at him, and he stared at the woman's face. He doesn't feel anything; unlike Lhalhaine, he feels like he's being pulled in whenever their eyes meet. As if it were sucking out his soul, as if it were bringing his blood to life.
“You look so terrible, Ty. What's wrong?” Cyrex asked gently.
He turned his gaze to his friend but quickly lowered it again when he saw Gleanne's questioning eyes.
"I just want to go home," he said simply.
"Yes, sir. We'll get you out soon, just a little while longer," Heckson replied.
He is already sitting on the hospital bed. Mikael and Heckson also squeezed in beside him.
"Get away from me, you two! You're making me even more irritated!" He threw the two of them away.
But instead of following him, the two of them just moved closer to him.
“We just missed you, drama queen!” Mikael said, using a woman's voice to annoy him further.
"Yeah, we just miss you, buddy," Heckson added.
Meruem and Cyrex, who were standing nearby, just shook their heads, while Gleanne, who was watching them, smiled.
"I love seeing you guys being as close as before," commented the woman.
They just smiled, and later they were allowed to go home. Those shameless people insisted on going to his house and even eating there. Oh, aren't they crazy?
On the veranda, he was quietly gazing at the stars when someone put a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see the owner of the hand, and Cyrex's serious face greeted him.
“Are you going to marry Gleanne?” Cyrex asks him.
He straightened up. “What if I am? Is there something wrong with that?” He asked his friend back.
Cyrex glared at him for a moment.
“Based on my observation, you don't love her. You're just confused, aren't you? Or maybe you agreed because your father ordered you to? It's not that I'm interfering, but don't settle for something that might ruin your happiness, bud. I know I told you not to force yourself to remember things you've forgotten, especially the woman who keeps coming back to your mind, but you can remember if you revisit your old memories. Using the pictures or places you painted, wouldn't you like to know what Lhalhaine is to you? Do you want me to tell you now? She is a very important part of your lost memories, bud," Cyrex said in a low voice, which he didn't expect.
Everything he says is true. He just sighed.
“But I can't easily call off the wedding. You know my dad, Cy. When he's embarrassed, he'll probably skin me alive because I bring disgrace to our family. I don't know what I should do now..." he said, his voice getting weaker.
"Your happiness ultimately depends on your decision, and while we're just here behind you, we'll support you no matter what," Cyrex insisted seriously.
And touched his shoulder.
“Thank you, Cy.”
He just nodded and then said goodbye, heading home. Meruem followed, and Mikael and Heckson left together, while Gleanne stayed behind at her house.
He was left alone in his house, and he rubbed his face when he closed his eyes, but Lhalhaine's face immediately appeared in his mind. He sat down roughly, ran his hands over his face until he decided to go see the woman. He doesn't know it, but he can't rest easy when he doesn't see her. He quickly grabbed the key and left the house, speeding off in the car towards the woman's condo.
