Chapter 51
Aaron makes an angry face at them giving him a glare which they ignore rolling their eyes at him. He fists his hand in anger but not because they rolled their eyes at him, it's because it brought those beautiful memories of their life together back seeing them behave that way. He don't want to feel that anymore atleast not after what he have gone through because of them and because of what they have done to him. He turns his face away in anger. Karan and Twinkle who were enjoying the moment till now gets hurt as the reality of their relationship hit them. They both sit on the chair waiting for Max to wake up. Doctor comes and checks the patient. Max gets concious while he was checking him. The doctor gives him a smile and wishing him to get well soon, he leaves from there but not before asking them not to pressurise him much as it may become danger for his health. Aaron and Karan look at each other hearing this. That one look they gave to each other implies that they are not going to talk about their past with him. 

Karan and Aaron along with Twinkle enter the room Max is resting. Kate stays out as she don't want to interfere in between them at the every chance she gets. It is wrong to do so. They all know each other. They all has a past together and it is clear from the tears all of them shed that Max is important for them and she wants to give them the time together so that they can meet their friend after five long years. She wants them to cherish their memories. 

Karan sits on the left side of the bed while Aaron sits on the right side of the bed. Max gives Karan a smile. He knows that Karan is suppressing his pain and tears. When he woke up, he didn't find Karan here which means he was out for an important work he thought. Karan turns his face away from Max's smiling face as his smile is hurting him. Max always used to smile a lot but he was never this helpless. He always used to be strong and used to face everyone without any fear but today seeing him laying on the bed helpless not able to stand up and work on his own is hurting him. He will be alright in few months but then he has already lost his five peak years of his life and now he has to wait few more months to live his life like any other normal human being. Karan shed tears. Tears for his best friend's lost five years. Tears for his lost chance at Life to learn about things. Tears for his lost career. Tears for his lost happiness. Tears for the change that has happened in their life after Max has went into the coma. Most of all he can't even share his pain of the past or the pain the change has brought in him because he can't pressurise him now. He needs rest and he needs peace to recover and they should give it to him instead of giving him stress. They should help him recover instead of worsening his pain and his situation. Karan wipes his tears so that Max doesn't notice his pain but he has already seen his pain and tears which he is soo unsuccessfully trying to hide. He bends towards him and places a kiss on his forehead. Karan carasses his hair asking him to get well soon and recover soon. Karan has always been like this, he mastered the art of hiding his pain. He has mastered the art of hiding his real feelings always and he is doing the same. He is trying to show himself strong now but he is failing miserably to do so. 

Max looks at him in the eyes and tries to tell him "Stop suppressing your pain Karan. I know you both better than anyone else and even if you both try to hide your pain from me, I will be still able to see it clearly. I know know both very well" but not able to do so. He is trying to say this to him but his throat is hurting him. The helplessness at that moment brings tears in his eyes for his own self. He is feeling pity for his own self and he at that moment understood as to why his friends are soo broken looking at him. He knows his friends enough to know that they will never pity him but it's their pain seeing him in that condition. Seeing him in tears, Aaron, Karan and Twinkle get tears in their eyes which flows uncontrollably from their eyes. Karan with tears in his own eyes wipes Max's tears while all of these are breaking Aaron's heart and he turns away from him. He is the reason for his friend's this situation and he is the reason that Max is laying on the bed helplessly shedding tears. He has never seen him in tears in his whole life but today he did and it is breaking him and his strength. Max and Karan looks at Aaron who turned his face away. They knew his condition at that moment. They know what he is actually thinking. They know that Aaron is breaking from inside looking at his condition. And they are soo fucking sure that he is blaming himself for Max's condition and is hating himself at that moment. Max wants to go and hug him but in the condition he was at that moment, he is not able to do so. Max looks at Karan who is staring at Aaron and Karan feeling his eyes on him turns his face towards him. Max looks at Karan and then at Aaron. Karan makes a confused face. Max again looks at Aaron and him and gestures with his face to go to him and hug him to heal his pain. Karan gets shocked knowing what he is trying to say. Max looks at him with confusion seeing his shocked face. He doesn't understand as to why his friend is shocked just because he has asked him to hug and console their friend Aaron. It is common for them. It is not uncommon for them, for him to react that way. Twinkle who also got shocked comes out of her shock seeing her brother looking at Karan with confusion and a little bit of suspicious eyes. Twinkle keeps her hand on his shoulder and presses there bringing him out of his shock. She looks at Max gesturing him to look at him and Karan also notices the suspicious eyes of his. Karan gives him a smile and gets up from the bed so that his friend doesn't get suspicious and doubt them. He goes to Aaron who is shedding tears turning his face away from them. Karan stands right infront him and Aaron who is shedding tears till now looks at him with confusion. Next thing Karan does something which makes him stand there
shocked.
