Chapter 49
Twinkle loves Karan too much to go against him or leave him. She leans on a tree and keeps on crying remembering those painful words. It hurted to hear that Aaron doesn't even consider a human being. It is hurting her. She keeps on crying when a car comes and stops infront of her. She watches as Karan gets down from the car with his attractive aura that is always around him. She gets shocked seeing him there. She wasn't expecting him to be here so soon. She wipes her tears hurriedly not wanting him to see her tears as he may get very furious seeing them. He hates to see tears in her eyes. Twinkle at that moment just wanted to hug him and cry in his arms but not wanting to worry him she just stands there. Karan hugs her giving a smile to her. Her body is hot. He breaks the hug and checks her forehead which shows that she is actually burning. But he looks at her eyes which are red.

"She only becomes this hot when she cries or when she is suffering from fever. Right now there is no symptoms of fever on her face but there are traces of tears on her face and her eyes are wet. Sometimes would have definitely happened which she is unsuccessfully trying to hide from me" Karan rolls his eyes at her failure to hide her tears yet again from him and pulls her closer. He stares into her eyes directly. Kate tries to divert her eyes but Karan holds her face with his hand pressing his fingers into her cheeks and looks directly into her eyes. He soo gently and loving asks her the reason for her tears. Seeing him behave soo sweetly with her after being humiliated by Kate, tears flow from her eyes uncontrollably and she hugs him again breaking into loud cries. Karan panics seeing her cry like that. She has always suppressed her pain and her tears. She never showed it on the outside even when she was treated like a shit by her ex best friend Aaron but today she is crying like someone has died. He knows nothing has happened to Max as she wouldn't have been this calm if something has happened to him and would have never tried to hide her tears but today she did. Then it means something painful has happened which hurted her. He for sure knows it wasn't Aaron as if he had hurted her then she wouldn't have cried this way as it has become old for her. There is something wrong.

Karan breaks the hug and wipes her tears. He kisses her on her forehead assuring her that he will be with her no matter what and he will hold her in her difficult times and when she is on the verge of breaking.

He asks her ohh so gently "What happened My adorable baby ?. Why are you crying? Does something happen?"

Twinkle looks at him sadly and shakes her head in no denying to tell him the truth. Karan gives her a stern look and Twinkle gulps. "Tell me what happened now baby. Don't make me furious" Karan tells her with an angry and stern voice which always helped him in getting the truth out of her.

Twinkle nods amd asks him "First promise me you won't get furious or start a fight as it will ruin our plan to bring Kate and Aaron closer" Karan looks at her suspiciously hearing her not understanding what she wants to say but then desperate to know what actually happened he nods his head. Twinkle forwards her hand asking for him to promise and he promises her rolling his eyes at her childishness but then her this childishness makes him happy. He missed her this childish behaviour and whenever he gets a glimpse of it in her actions, he feels happy and elated.

He with his actions gestures her to tell him what happened and she hesitantly starts telling him "Actually what happened is. Well with whatever happened even though I am sad but I am happy as well. Today's situation made it clear to me that Kate can fight and hold our Aaron from breaking in his difficult times. And also today I got surity that she won't let anyone ruin her relationship" Karan looks at her with anger and asks her to continue. Twinkle makes a weird face at his authorative behaviour and tells him what happened. She also tells him as to how she has insulted Kate which in turn made her insult Twinkle. Karan gets furious hearing her.

"How dare that Kate say something so brutal to my Twinke. I thought she is as innocent and kind hearted as she seemed but she is not. She without any second thought insulted my Twinkle not thinking about the pain that would inflict on her. I will fucking teach her a lesson for making my Twinkle cry" Thinking so Karan is about to go inside the hospital but Twinkle holds his arm and stops him. Karan looks at her furiously asking her to leave his hand. He is about to shout at her but before he shouts at her, she holds his face with both her hands and places her lips on his kissing him. Karan calms down after a minute and kisses her back.

Twinkle breaks the kiss out ot breath and asks him teasingly "Feeling good?"

Karan rolls his eyes at her and tells her "You always do this baby. Do you even know how much I am hurting hearing what you have told me. It is hurting my insides Twinkle. Aaron is already hurting you with his words and now his fucking keep is also behind you to hurt you"

Twinkle keeps her finger on her lips asking him not to say that word "Don't call her his keep Karan. It shouts very unpleasant and dirty. It was not only her mistake, it was my mistake as well. I humiliated her with my words thus she did the same. And it's not like we have both abused each other. No it's not. It's just war of words baby"

"But your intentions were right baby. You meant good for them but they are continuously hurting you. It hurts to see my Life suffering like this baby" Karan tells her. His eyes held unshed tears. Twinkle hugs him to assure him. She kisses him on his neck while hugging him. She don't like to see Karan in such a condition.

Karan looks at her in the eyes and tells her "I feel helpless Twinkle. I feel like I am incapable of protecting you or the modesty of yours. I failed at protecting your honour. I am such a failure. I don't deserve you Twinkle. I know that. But I am too helpless to let go off an angel like you. They call Kate selfless and an amazing person but the truth is you are ahead of her in kindness and selflessness baby" Karan hugs her to his heart. He is glad to have her in his Life. Twinkle smiles happily hugging him. Every Woman loves to be adored by her love and when he is adoring her like this, her heart is fluttering with happiness and all the pain she has felt now has vanished after hugging her Love and sharing her pain with him. She is glad that he is here now. He places a kiss on her while hugging her to which she smiles happily while hugging him.

Kate cries hugging Aaron after they came out of the washroom which makes him sad. He feels sad for her. He caresses her hair trying to console her. He hushes her cries when she sobs. He says sweet nothings in her ears trying to stop her from crying. He breaks the hug and cups her face.

He tells her "Don't mind her words Kate. She is jealous of you and she is not worth of your tears"

Kate tells him "I am not crying because she humiliated me, I am crying because I have crossed my limits and has hurt her. I humiliated her. What effect it would have had on her heart. I saw pain in her eyes"

Aaron sighs and tells her "Don't Kate. Don't trust her. Don't think she was in pain. She never gets hurt. She just knows to hurt people. She knows to manipulate people. She knows to throw people away after using them. She is a bitch. Stop worrying about her"

Kate tries to say something but then stops as Aaron keeps his finger on her lips, sushing her and leads her away from there. Twinkle who came with Karan stops hearing his words about her. Karan fists his hand in anger. He is furious with what happened just now. He looks at Twinkle who supresses her pain and gives him a smile. Karan feels bad for her and disgusted with himself for not being able to help her or save her from this pain. Twinkle holds his hand giving him a smile and guides him inside. Kate who is with Aaron turns her face and looking at them, she gets shocked. This is a new view for her. Aaron turns his face and seeing them walk inside hand in hand he feels disgusted. He is furious seeing them together. All the pain that he has supressed till now, increased again and all he felt was that stabbing pain in his heart. He hates them. He hate them for their betrayal. When Karan entered his office again. At that time the only thought going in his mind was to strangle him to death. He knew how much he hates betrayal. He knew what he has gone through in his life but still he betrayed him and then pretended to be saint and betray him more by lying but he didn't give him the chance as he hated him till then. He regrets for being his friend for all these years. Both of them has hurt him. And they both has the guts to come to the hospital hand in hand but then Karan is getting betrayed by Twinkle as she is a bitch and a whore who sleeps around with men. She is opening legs for almost every man and he doesn't even know it. Well he deserves that betrayal. Karma knows to treat people well according to their actions. He just smirks at Karan's fate not knowing the reality of his friends who loves him and always wants the best for him. Karan comes and stands infront of him with a smirk. Aaron looks at him with an evil smirk as well. Karan knew what he must be thinking and it made him feel disgusted to know that his friend can be this vile to him, the friend whom he has once called his family and his strength from his expression but then he can never be as cruel as him atleast not after knowing about the painful amd terrible past he had. He covers up the rising anger and pain in him and his eyes.

Karan forwards his hand towards him with a smirk and greets him "Hello Mr.Ryan. Glad to meet you here" Aaron looks at him with anger not able to contain it anymore seeing his audacity. Kate looks at them confused. She always felt this different change in the environment whenever they are together at the same place but today it can be clearly seen. She doesn't understand as to why Aaron is looking at him with anger and she doesn't understand as to why Twinkle is holding his hand like this. She frowns looking at Aaron hold his hands and fist it with anger. Karan doesn't even budge with the way Aaron is fisting his hand and just gives him a smirk which infuriates him more. Aaron leaves his hand and Karan turns to Kate. He takes her hand in his amd places a kiss on her praising her beauty and greeting her at the same time. Aaron doesn't like it one bit and at that moment he understood that they both are in an open relationship and they don't care if the another one gets closer to whoever they want. They just want to enjoy it with different people but then thinking that they are trying to ruin Kate and get her in their web so that he can sleep with her made him furious and disgusted with them. He wanted to punch them both for looking at Kate that way but he just suppresses his anger not wanting to create a scene infront of Kate. And he is damn sure that Kate is already confused with this suddent twist and must be thinking about it. Karan gives an evil smirk to him and then winking at him he leaves from there.

Karan is not what he is thinking, neither Twinkle is but then he likes to trouble Aaron for misunderstanding him and betraying him by not trusting him. He likes to see Aaron furious and helpless after the way he has hurted his Twinkle and made her cry. He feels that psychotic pleasure when he hurts her. And to feel that pleasure to his full satisfaction he uses these gestures with him.

Aaron watches furiously as Karan goes near the cabin. He was once his funny, loving and casanova best friend. He has always loved him and treated him like his family. Karan treated him the same way. Three of them Karan, Aaron and Max were inseparable or at least that is what he has thought. It hurts him to know that they have come from best friend or a family to brutal enemies who are behind each other to hurt each other. He has never thought that such a day will come in his life but that has happened. Today they are standing in such a situation where they both only search for a way to play with each other or their feelings. He remembers how Karan has pleaded him to trust him and not to break their friendship because of his misunderstanding. He remembers as to how he has seen the pain in his eyes when he broke his friendship with him and called him a betrayer. He remembers broken he looked that day when he has broken his friendship with him, his eyes called him a betrayer for betraying his trust. His eyes said that they held hopes in him and that look of his still haunts him. He for once melted seeing the look of his but then remembering the evidence against him, he has left him. After that day, he has never met him for many years. But recently he entered his Life and this time he didn't even find that old funny going joyful Karan in him. All he has seen is the coldness in his eyes and felt the unsupressed anger in him. He has felt guilty seeing him that way. He felt like he is the reason for his this change in him when he saw the same look he carry in Karan's eyes. He has always blamed himself but then he won't lie that the change in him hasn't surprised him or he hasn't felt unpleasant feeling seeing his friend lack that warm look in his eyes. He has loved his friends a lot in the past but now he has lost that on Karan. Karan was his two AM friend just like Max is but then he didn't keep up his friendship amd trust like Max did. He has hurt him and has betrayed him. He can never forget or forgive him for his behaviour. Now seeing Karan give him an evil smirk and wink at him evilly he felt disgusted and angry for trusting Karan once. He never deserved his trust or his friendship or the love he has given him. He never deserved to be called family. Well how can he say that to him, even his family has betrayed him soo brutally because of which he has faced a lot and is still facing because of the terrible past of his. He shakes his head a little to get out of his past not wanting to go into those painful memories any more. He watches Karan who is looking at Max throught the glass door.

Karan looks at his friend through the glass door. Tears fall from his eyes seeing him in such a condition. Twinkle keeps her hand on his shoulder consoling him. He gives her a nod and wipes his tears not wanting to break down. Max was one of those friends who has always kept their friendship strong. But then Max has gone into the coma and everything got reversed. Now he is in a point where he lost his five fucking years. He sheds tears again but this time for his lost five years, his lost chance at life and his lost chance at his career. He keeps his head on the glass door and sheds tears sobbing a little. He wants to see his friend open his eyes and talk to him with that joyful charm of his but then he knew it takes some time and even though he wants to touch his friend and cry in his arms but still he is not able to do so as he don't want to disturb Max. He must be already in pressure at this time. He must be shocked with the sudden change and he is sure that his body must be not in a condition to take all these at a time. Aaron watches Karan intently as he shed tears. If it was any other time then they would have supported each other and would have cried in each other's
arms but now the situation is different..
