Chapter 6 : Damon Stuck In The Basement

Damon was down because he got vervained by Elena’s actual dad. John Gilbert. When he opened his eyes all he could see were partially conscious vampires and Ana. “Ana?” Damon called in surprise. He was confused and saw the Mayor ion the basement you barely got back to his consciousness. He had blood coming out of his ears. And he was surprised to see Damon in the basement. But he was neck snapped by one of the tomb vampires immediately . And Damon spotted Ana getting staked by John and he set the whole on fire.

Stefan was trying to get inside when the door knob turned out to be burning hot and he could catch it. Kate saw Elena having an argument with John and the John left. But Bonnie was no on hold with Elena and kate was running towards them. Before Bonnie could do something Steven out of nowhere came from behind and kicked the door open. They both peeked inside. But it was fully filled with fire. There was one vampire outside other than Stefan and Steven. That guy went straight for Kate since she is the only left-alone human, and Bonnie was with Elena. He got her from behind and bit her neck when Kate did a mini summersault and that lost the vampire’s grip and she landed behind him facing away from his back with her hands around his neck and she pulled him forward by stepping on his leg. She beheaded the second Vampire in no time.

Elena was surprised to see what Kate did and she went out of breath “H-how did you..?”

“Alaric is good at training..” Kate shrugged. By the time this was done, Stefan and Steven brought Damon outside and took him home. Elena, Bonnie, and Kate headed straight to the Hospital after knowing that Caroline, Tyler, and Matt were in a car accident.

Kate almost forgot about the part where she was bleeding. She got in and suddenly she heard the news were Caroline might not make it. “Oh my god! What..?” Kate had no idea what was going on. “H-hey Kate, your neck” Damon came from behind pulled her away from the group to a silent spot. “Drink this.” He gave her his blood. “Oh, thankyou. I totally forgot about the bite…”

“Who bit you?” “I don’t know some creepy Vampire!” “What did you do?”

Kate looked him in the eye and smiled and said, “I took his head off”

“Steven said about your fight!” “Yeah it happened again… Wait! Steven said?”

“Since when did you guys started talking about me?”

“Leave it, I think Caroline’s not gonna make it so I’m gonna feed her my blood.!”

“But I don’t think others would let that happen, but I think you should.!”

They walked outside and spotted Bonnie with Elena. He was talking to them about feeding her the blood and Kate turned around and saw Steven. Lurking around. Staring at her. Outside the hospital. “Hey, I’ll be right back…!”

Damon nodded. Kate strolled towards Steven and he was pretty damn serious. “I heard you were talking about me with Damon and all, What’s up with that?”

“Really he spilled it this fast?” “That doesn’t matter but..!” “Did you know that what you did was humanly impossible?” Kate stopped talking and stared at him in surprise.

“What?!” Words weren’t coming out of her mouth. “Fight a Vampire like that, I’ve only seen a few who do that..!” “Who?” “Vampires, werewolves, and hunters.”

“Wow ..! werewolves? Hunters? Are you out of your mind?” “So you are skeptical!” “No Damon never mentioned those..!” “That’s because he doesn’t know about the current Van Helsing and lycanthropes that are roaming around ..!”

Kate’s ventilation elevated a little… “So you’re saying that... I am ?” “I don’t know yet, but we have to figure that out..!” Even though Steven was a little not so welcoming about Kate and her abilities, this surprised, as well as terrified look on her face, made him felt like she needs comforting. “You busy tonight?” Kate was almost in a trance when he asked this. So she broke that terrifying question inside her head and stared at him.. She nodded her head meaning yes.

“Come over. We’ll have a chat. Don’t worry, I know you admire us all. And also that you are a nice friend.” Kate forced a smile on her face. They headed inside the hospital to go find the others
