Chapter 87 Chapter Eighty-seven

Chapter 87 Chapter Eighty-seven
Bella

Due to the constant tension in the house and Gray’s return, I had started tiptoeing around common areas like the kitchen and dining room, moving like a ghost in my own home just to avoid conflict.

But today, I couldn’t escape it. I had made breakfast, so I had to serve it. At the last minute, I remembered I needed to double-check the table settings.

I’d been so distracted lately that I kept forgetting things. Like if I'd set the table already or not.

The moment I stepped into the dining area, my world fractured. My mother was trying to straddle Gray. She was in his lap, her hands gripping his shoulders, pressing her body against him while he looked visibly uncomfortable, trying to grab her wrists and push her away.

“I’ve had enough of this harassment,” Gray snarled, his voice low and filled with disgust. He rose forcefully, tearing her off him like she was something filthy. “I’m speaking to my father about this, and about you and Jeff. You’re a sick woman, and I’m sorry Bella has to put up with a mother like you.”

The air left my lungs.

“I’m sorry for myself too,” I whispered, the words slipping out before I could stop them.

Everything inside me shattered at once. My mother fucking around with Jeff had already made me sick. But this? Her forcing herself on Gray, her own stepson?

Gray’s head snapped toward me and his eyes widened briefly. “Bella… this was nonconsensual,” he stammered, running a hand roughly over his face. “I swear to you—”

I couldn’t breathe. And guess what? While I struggled to process what I'd just stumbled into, my mother’s expression remained eerily flat, almost bored, like she hadn’t just been caught trying to seduce her fiancé’s son.

I had to do something. Maybe think or breathe or move. I just had to do something.

I took a shaky step back, my voice barely audible. “I think… I’ll just go for a run.” Not that anyone was listening.

I turned and headed for the stairs before either of them could say another word. My mother didn’t try to stop me. She didn’t even look guilty.

As I climbed the stairs, numbness spread through my chest like ice. This house wasn’t a home anymore. It was a battlefield soaked in secrets, betrayal, and sickness. Emphasis on sickness.

And I wasn’t sure how much longer I could survive it.

I dressed haphazardly, throwing on the first hoodie and leggings I could find, grabbed my earphones and phone, and headed straight for the door.

I needed air. I needed to run until my lungs burned and my mind went quiet. Mind you, I couldn't remember the last time I went out for a run. I hardly ever went for a run.

The second I opened the door, a powerful arm reached in and gently but firmly pushed me back into the room.

Gray stepped inside, closing the door behind him with a soft click. I staggered backward, my heart leaping into my throat.

“I’m not in the mood to talk,” I said quickly, trying to sidestep him.

He yanked me back toward him, his touch warm and familiar and all the things that sent dirty thoughts to my brain.

“Your mother has been actively pushing herself on me since the very moment you moved in,” he said in a low, strained voice. He ran his fingers through his hair, visibly agitated. “It made it so fucking hard to even look at you sometimes.”

I gave him my best what-are-you-talking-about? frown.

“What? Like that’s my fault?” I asked him, my voice wavering at the end.

Gray’s eyes darkened with frustration. He stepped closer, then before I knew it, he spun me and then then he was crowding me against the wall.

“I want to be inside you, Bella,” he rasped the words out like a desperate plea. “Right now. Or I’m going to smash something.”

A slow, persistent throb was forming in my core, between my thighs.

“What the hell? You can’t just say something like that to me!”

“You’re not listening,” he growled. “I want you. Right now.”

He wrapped his hand around my neck and forced my chin up, making me stare straight into those intense gray eyes that always saw too much.

I reached down and cupped him through his gray slacks. He was already rock-hard, warm and throbbing against my palm, so thick my fingers couldn’t fully wrap around him.

Gray let out a pained, guttural groan, his hips twitching forward instinctively.

“What are you doing?” he asked through clenched teeth.

I looked up at him through my lashes, flashing him a wicked grin.

“I’ll show you… if you let go of my neck.”

His grip loosened immediately. I dropped to my knees in front of him without hesitation. The moment he realized what I was about to do, a wicked, hungry glint flashed in his eyes.

He tried to pull me back up, but I was faster. My fingers worked quickly, tugging his slacks and boxers down just enough to free him.

His cock sprang out, heavy and thick and lined with prominent veins that looked like the most beautiful, dangerous art, the kind that made my mouth water and my core clench with anticipation.

It curved slightly upward, flushed dark at the tip, already leaking for me.

I didn’t hesitate. I wrapped my hand around the base, barely able to close my fingers around his girth, and leaned in. The moment my tongue swirled around the swollen head, tasting the salty bead of precum, Gray let out a low, guttural groan that sent heat rushing between my thighs.

“Fuck, Bella…” His hand fisted in my hair, holding on like I was his lifeline.

I took him deeper, hollowing my cheeks, sucking him with slow, deliberate pulls. The weight of him on my tongue, the way he throbbed against the roof of my mouth, it made me dizzy with need.

I moaned around him, the vibration pulling another curse from his lips.

Gray’s hips twitched, fighting the urge to thrust.

“Just like that… good girl. Look at me while you suck my cock.”

I lifted my eyes to his, tears already gathering from how deep I was taking him. The sight of him staring down at me like I was both his ruin and his salvation made me wetter than I’d ever been.

He was breathing hard, and the muscles in his abdomen flexed with every bob of my head. I took him deeper, relaxing my throat until my nose brushed his pelvis, holding there for a second before pulling back with a wet gasp.

“Shit— you’re going to make me come down your throat if you keep doing that,” he warned breathlessly.

This was my favourite side of Gray. I smiled around him, sucking harder, faster, one hand stroking what my mouth couldn’t reach while the other cupped his balls.

Gray’s control snapped.

“Fuck, that's it. Up you go.” He growled, pulling me off him with a wet pop, breathing like he’d run a marathon. His eyes were wild, almost feral.

“Go to the bed and kneel on all fours.” He ordered.
