I hopped out first and waved at Robert. "Hey, Mr. Williams!"
"Hey, what's going on here?" Robert asked, pointing between the car and Sophia inside.
I kept it cool, "Mr. Williams, Mrs. Williams twisted her ankle while checking on the workers at the branch. Since you were out and she didn't want to interrupt, she asked me to bring her home. We're neighbors, so it was no big deal."
Robert walked over, opened the passenger door, and saw the red marks on Sophia's ankle. He leaned in, unbuckled her seatbelt, and scooped her up, using his foot to shut the door.
"Can you park her car in the garage? Thanks," Robert said, then carried Sophia into the villa.
"Sure thing," I nodded, got back in the car, and buckled up. The garage door was still open, so I drove right in.
Before turning off the engine, I checked for anything left behind. Sure enough, Sophia's bag was in the back seat. I grabbed it and decided to return it.
I walked to the door, which was slightly open, but I knocked anyway.
"Come in, it's open," came Robert's voice.
I peeked in and saw Sophia on the sofa, with Robert kneeling and applying medicine to her ankle. An ice pack was next to him.
"Mr. Williams, Mrs. Williams left her bag, so I brought it back," I said, placing it on the shoe cabinet.
"Thanks. Want to stay for dinner?" Robert offered.
"No, thanks. Scarlett's got dinner ready for me," I declined.
"Alright, but I owe you one. If you need anything, just ask," he said.
After finishing with Sophia's foot, Robert handed her the ice pack and walked me to the door.
"No problem. I'll head back now," I said, leaving Sophia's house and heading to Scarlett's place, which was just a minute away.
When I got in, dinner was ready, but Scarlett was nowhere in sight.
"Scarlett, I'm back!" I called out loudly as I didn't see Ryan's car outside and figured he wasn't home.
She popped her head out of the bathroom, "How come you're here all of a sudden?"
"Sophia sprained her ankle at the branch, so I drove her home," I explained casually.
I strolled over to the dining table, grabbed a piece of broccoli, and popped it into my mouth without a second thought.
"Can you at least wash your hands and use your own utensils?" Scarlett snapped, clearly annoyed.
"What's the big deal? My immune system's top-notch," I shrugged, walking towards her. "Ryan's not back yet, right?"
Even though I didn't see his car, I figured it was better to ask, as I noticed Scarlett had prepared quite a substantial dinner.
"He's back, just went upstairs to change," she replied.
That was my cue. Ryan would take a bit to change, giving me a chance to get close to Scarlett. I moved in and quickly kissed her on her full red lips while she was distracted.
Scarlett covered her mouth, eyes wide. "Are you nuts? Ryan's home!"
"Relax, he's still changing. He won't see," I whispered in her ear.
"Stop messing around! Wash your hands and come eat!" Scarlett swatted my butt, trying to scold me, but it felt more like flirting.
I pulled her into the bathroom, shut and locked the door, and pressed her against it. Leaning in, I kissed her deeply.
She tried to push me away, but I was stronger. Her hands landed on my chest, and the touch sent a jolt of desire through me.
I felt myself getting hard, pressing against her. Scarlett's eyes widened in shock.
"Don't worry, just a kiss," I whispered, pulling back slightly.
Scarlett relaxed, put her hand on my shoulder, and kissed me back. I tilted my head, sucking on her lips while holding her waist.
My hips moved on their own, rubbing against her. The memory of that night when I barely entered her flashed in my mind. I wanted more.
"Tonight, can we pick up where we left off?" I released her lips and asked, our foreheads touching, lips just a breath apart.
Scarlett's hot breath on my face made my skin tingle.
