142. Finally, Peace
142. Finally, Peace
Ophelia POV
I was laying back on the recliner on the beach. Fox had not spoken to me since we got on the plane. He hadn’t said anything for the last three days. But when I saw his tattooed body standing over me, I looked up. I didn't take off my sunglasses or do much besides look back at the ocean.
I had to admit it was kind of nice having no one around other than staff to watch our mass of silence. With the two of us not talking the place was quiet. The staff didn’t talk around us and seeing as we were the only one’s staying at the island we were surrounded by the sound of the waves. I had never known silence like this.
It would have been peaceful if I knew that Fox was not furious with me. But I was not going to apologize for what I had done. Sure, I had wished our wedding had been not so rushed, but that was the only thing I was sorry for. I was pissed that everything had gone to shit, and I had to clean it up. I was worried about the triplets and having had them in my stomach when I did all the things I did.
When I rescued their father, I had used heavy artillery, and I was worried they would have damage to their ears when they were born. I had to get Fox and that was the only way I knew how. With the bombs I set I worried about how it rocked the world around me and the vibrations. I worried that would injure the life inside me. Fox could be mad as much as he wanted at me, but I was just as pissed at him.
He acted like I put the babies lives on the line, but it had been his fault I had to do any of it. I let out a long sigh. I shouldn’t blame him though. I could at least wait to place some kind of blame if they were not alright. I didn’t want this silence to continue. I wanted to make up, I wanted to just move on. Everything was done now, Fox and I when we returned would be right back at the top.
Wasn’t that the point of all of this? To be done with all the carnage, I had manifested that. I turned my head and saw Fox laying down on the recliner next to me. His black sunglasses covering his face and his swim trunks where the only thing on him. His art was on full display and one of his arms was up resting above his head. Despite our current struggles I couldn’t help but clench my thighs together, at the sight of his body.
My body naturally reacted to his like this. He was beautiful, muscular, and just mouthwatering. He turned his head, and he gave me a little smirk, and I felt tension in my lower abdomen. “No, we have to work this out before we get to what a honeymoon is really about.” I told myself. I quickly turned away from him and looked back at the ocean. My heart was beating hard.
For the first time in days Fox broke the silence “Ophelia, I am sorry”. The way he said it was sincere, and I couldn’t stop myself as I moved quickly, practically lunging out of my recliner and onto his. His mouth was on mine in an instant, and it felt like forgiveness and sex. “I am so sorry” He said again, as his mouth lifted to mine. We went back to kissing.
But it continued he would pull away to say he was sorry only for his lips to be back on me. “No, Fox I shouldn’t have taken those risks.” I said when our mouths where apart. “It is my fault I put you in that position.” Another intense kiss. The top of my bikini strings became undone, and we were back to kissing as soon as the little black bikini was tossed.
I pulled away “It wasn’t just your fault Fox it was both of us, we can be stupid and rash. We are the same monsters,” I stilled and smiled. “Remember?” He laughed a little and as he kissed me again, I felt the corner of his mouth tilt up. We were shameless when it came to sex. It was lewd and loud. When he first went inside me, he stopped and looked at me “Do you think this will hurt them?” he asked.
“I think firing heavy artillery, making bombs, handling anthrax, and detonating several bombs was way worse, I think you are fine to fuck your wife.” I said and he smiled and felt him push into me. Our bodies worked in tandem “Fucking hell Ophelia, your fucking body is.” I smiled and kissed him. “What is it, tell me what my body is?” He was deep inside me, keeping his pace steady. “Fucking divinity”
I raked my nails shamelessly up his back while his hips pushed me further into the lounger. I was so close, so dam close “You wait to come with your husband.” I wanted to almost laugh at what he had said the mix of sexy, and the new term of husband was amusing. I was trying so hard not to let the euphoria take me over the edge, but it was getting too hard “Please, please, Fox.” I begged. “Come for me, come for your husband.”
I did, all my muscles contracted around him and as he finished inside of me, it made the orgasm more intense. I felt his head resting on my chest as he pulled out and slightly rolled to my side, half of him still on me as we were on a beach lounger. “I love you Fox” I said as I played with his hair. He smiled while he held me. “I told you before, love is too small of a word, for what I feel for you.”
I smiled thinking of that conversation we had, it seemed so long ago, but it wasn’t. We had spent so many years apart, when the whole time we had belonged to one another and now here we were. On a beautiful beach, on our fucking honeymoon.
We were going to have kids soon enough. I smiled thinking about just us and our lives and what was to come. I knew the triplets would be fine, I didn’t have absolute confirmation of that, but I knew they would be perfectly healthy. Fox gave me a soft kiss and then whispered in my ear what he had said all those months ago. “I have a madness for you that burns brighter than the surface of the sun.”
The End.
