**Rati POV:**
Mom, Zavia, Oro, and I stood back as the Omegas set up our little tea party. The cell Margin is in is surprisingly clean. I am not sure if my mates are responsible or Sorel. We all took a seat as Margin still sat on the bed. I thought introducing ourselves could break the ice.
“Hello, my name is Rati Nymph. This is my mother Renee Gio Dutchess and royal Beta. This is my mother-in-law, Zavia Gio. And Dutchess Oro Sorel”, I said.
“My name is Margin”, she said.
“Margin would you like some tea or cakes?", Oro offered.
“Yes, thank you”, she said politely. I cannot sense any fear coming from her at all.
“Let's get this shit started. Why did you try to have my daughter killed”, Mom asked.
“Really Mom?”, I asked.
“Yes, I want to go back to bed”, she said with an eye roll.
“I wanted her mates to feel what I felt when I found out Acca was murdered", Margin said straight to my mother.
“Executed, he was executed”, I said.
“An execution is a beheading or a hanging. What happened to him was brutal and therefore is murder”, Margin said.
“If I had met you under different circumstances, I would say I like your boldness”, I said.
“As your mother said let's get to it. Why are you actually here?”, Margin asked.
“What you did was treason. And you know the penalty for that is death. If you were a man, you would be dead already. And then there is the notion that you and Oro’s father-in-law may be mates”, I said putting it all out there.
“And we are here to find out who you are”, Oro said with a smile.
“You already know that”, she said then sipped some tea.
“We know you were Acca’s wife but other than that we know nothing of you”, I said.
“What my daughter-in-law means is to tell us your story. So, we can get a better understanding of you”, Zavia said.
Margin took a deep breath and started telling us about her life. Her mother married a man after her father died. That man was a drunk and could not hold down a job. The man then started to work for Acca. She was ten when she first met Acca and every time, he saw her he would have candy for her and the other children in the neighborhood. Later her mom died of a rare canine cancer. Her stepfather told her she had to earn her keep our get out. I hope he is alive I would love to have my mates deal with him.
Margin tells us that she was a prostitute selling her body for whatever her tricks would offer to pay her. And one day one of her ticks thought his friends could join for free. All five of them had their way with her and left her for dead. Acca found her in an alley holding on to her life and took care of her no questions asked.
“What happened to your stepfather?”, mom asked.
“When Acca found out what happened to me, he was very pissed off. So much so that what happened to me he ordered it to happen to my stepfather”, Margin said with a slight smile.
“One point for Acca”, mom said.
“Is your stepfather alive?”, I asked.
“I am not sure. But I never heard from him again. When I was able to walk again, I went home and he was not there. All of our stuff was there but he wasn’t. I asked Acca about it, he told me not to worry. And that he will protect me from now on”, Margin said.
After her recovery, Acca would let her go out without herself. He made sure she was always safe. On her sixteenth birthday, he asked for her hand in marriage. She said yes and they were married the same day.
“Did you love him?”, I asked.
“At first no, but I knew marrying him would grant me protection. I would never have to worry about anything again. But as time went by, I grew to love him very much”, she said wiping a tear.
“Did you know his other businesses were less savory in some people's eyes? But if he didn’t do it someone else would have. And they would have been way harsher”, Margin said.
“I doubt that”, mom said.
“You do really? Want to know how many people walked over my bruised and battered body before Acca came? Ten.....ten people walked over my body and went about their fucking day not worried about the girl laying on the ground bleeding from every hole on her body. Acca had his faults but he was a good man deep down”, she said still whipping her eyes.
“So, you decided to get revenge for his death. I understand that I would have done the same thing”, Rati said.
“Then why am I in a dungeon", she asked.
“Because we need to make sure you are still not a threat”, I said.
“I am not I have a new purpose for living a life without plotting revenge”, Margin said
“And what is that?", Zavia asked.
“My mate”, Margin said with a smile.
“So, it's true you are Sorel’s mate?”, Oro asked.
“According to our wolves, yes”, Margin said with a smile.
“Sorel you can come out now. I know you have been there this whole time”, I called out to Sorel.
“My bad I just wanted to make sure she was alright”, Sorel said walking to Margin.
“Sorel if you can guarantee Margin will not be any trouble. I will release her in your care until Michael, James and I can figure out what her punishment should be”, I said.
“Yes, Rati she won't be any trouble. Right Margin?", Sorel said.
“No, I won't”, Margin said looking at Sorel.
“Now that is sorted, I am going back to bed. If you need me, please hesitate to call me” " Mom said and left the dungeon.
Sorel picked Margin up bridal style and left the dungeon. Now I have to let my mates they are right. But Margin and Sorel being mates makes things compilated because she still needs to be punished.
