Chapter 11 : Mission Accomplished

Chapter 11 : Mission Accomplished

STEPHEN’S POV

I didn’t go back to my hostel right away.

I sat on the steps outside the arts building instead, elbows on my knees as I stared at space. My phone buzzed twice in my pocket. It was probably Hayden, or not, but I ignored it. My chest still felt badly injured from Ella’s words and the way she looked at me.

If it were her being angry, I could handle it. It would have made sense to me because it had a direction. But this felt like I was standing in a room after the furniture had been dragged out. It felt empty.

I dragged a hand through my hair and let out a breath, I didn't know I was holding.

“You are fine, Stephen,” I told myself. “You will always be fine.”

If football season weren't close by, I would have drowned myself in alcohol and some fucking weed.

A laugh cut through the night, close enough to make me look up. Someone was coming down the steps, carelessly and loudly. He stopped a few feet away from me, his phone in his hand, squinting at the screen before he glanced at me.

“Okay, it's either this map is lying to me,” he said, “or this campus is designed by someone who hates joy.”

I didn't answer. I tried to ignore him, hoping that he would go away. I was wrong.

He looked at me, closer this time, then he grinned like he had found something interesting. “Damm. You alive, man?”

I huffed. “Barely.”

He laughed warmly and unbothered, as he slid down the step and landed beside me. He sat down without asking. “Rough night?”

“You could say that,” I responded.

“Girls?”

I didn't correct him. I just shrugged because it was partly true.

He nodded like that and told him everything. “Classic. Let me guess…..she doesn't deserve you.”

I scoffed. “You don't know anything about me.”

“True,” he said with a stupid grin, which made him look hot. “But I do know one thing.”

“What’s that?”

He tilted his head, his eyes flickering over my face, down to my body, and my biceps. He was checking me out. Was this guy gay?

“One of the hottest guys on campus shouldn't be looking like he is about to punch the moon over a girl.”

I snorted out a laugh before I could stop myself. “You always talk to strangers like that?”

“Only the brooding, hot ones,” he said “I'm Marcus.”

I smirked. “Stephen.”

“Nice to meet you, Stephen-who’s-clearly-having-a-terrible-time.”

I leaned back, staring up at the dark sky. “You don't know half of it.”

Marcus bumped his shoulders lightly against mine. “I don't have to. I'm offering a distraction, not therapy.”

I turned my head, studying him properly now. He was fucking hot in a nerdy type of way. His soft smile, sharp jaw, confidence, and posture screamed cunt. He was the kind of guy who looked like he moved through the world without a fucking apology for who he was.

Something twisted in my chest.

“Why?” I asked

“Why what?”

“Why me?”

He shrugged. “Because you look like you need someone to remind you who the fuck you are.”

The words landed harder than they should have.

I thought of Ella, how I slammed Hayden’s door out of anger.

“I'm not exactly good company,” I warned, my tone flirty.

Marcus smiled. “Good. I hate being bored.”

Silence settled between us, but it wasn't awkward. He didn't push, or ask more questions that I would rather not answer. He just sat there close enough that I could feel his warmth and his presence.

“You want to get out of here?” He asked eventually.

I hesitated, and then, like fire hitting paper, the thought flared hot and bright.

I saw Hayden’s face when I would walk into our dorm with Marcus. He would barely be able to contain his disgust anytime or anything that had to do with the LGBTQ community. The way he would flinch when I threatened to kiss him again, or let everyone know that we kissed, made me feel erratic.

The idea settled into my bones. It was wicked but brilliant.

I smiled slowly. “Yeah. I do.”

Marcus’s eyebrows lifted, pleased at my answer. “Your place or mine?”

“Mine,” I said standing. "It's close.”

“Lead the way, heartbreaker.”

As we walked, the campus lights blurred past us. I could still feel the anger I felt when I left the room but it was different now. If Hayden thought he could fuck my girl, then I would give him something he would choke on.

When we got to my dorm. We walked into the living room, the door barely closed before Marcus’s lips were on mine.

It wasn't a gentle kiss. It was hot and fucking sexy. I kissed him back hard, as I pulled him closer pouring every ugly feeling into the kiss.

He moans, laughing against my lips. “Someone has been starved.”

“Shut up,” I muttered, dragging him closer.

He didn't shut up. He kissed me again, deeper this time. I could feel his hard dick grinding on me and I was getting turned on.

Fuck.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, a voice whispered that this was reckless, but I fucking ignored it.

The sexual chemistry between Marcus and me was crazy. I wanted more.

Marcus pulled back with a grin. “You sure?”

I met his eye, and it was filled with lust. “Yeah.”

I wasn't even bothered to go to my room. I need him right there and then. I pulled him to the living room couch, ripping off my shirt. He stared at my body, licking his lips.

“Fuck you are hot.” He said, which made me blush.

He pulled his shirt too and I was stunned by what was underneath. He wasn't ripped like me but damn, the boy was smoking hot.

He got closer to me and pulled out my hard dick from my pants, stroking it softly.

“I'm going to have so much fun with this….” He said, swallowing my cock whole as I let out a loud groan.

Just then the light came on. Hayden was standing in the living room door, stunned and fucking disgusted.

I smirked….mission accomplished.
