Chapter 226: Our Girl Is Finally Back

One month later

Marshall

Angelia had finally broken to her parents about her relationship with us after her mother had begged for her to come visit with Kingston seeing as they hadn't seen each other for a long time. She could hardly hide me and Riccardo from her parents if she wanted anything serious with us.

At home she went to the attic to find baby photos of her of which we ordered her to do and while there, she found adoption papers with her name on it and her parents had never told her. I found her crying and later we went to the hotel after she had calmed down. We were all there for her when she found out about the truth her parents had hid from her. We gave her perspective enough to make her realized that her being adopted doesn't change the fact that they her parents and they have loved her. We went back to her parents and found out that they had adopted her when she was just ten months old and they didn't know anything about her biological parents.

Her stalker is her brother, he was five years old when his mother decided to put her up for adoption, unable and couldn't be bothered to take care of two children. The mother kept her brother because it was useful for her to have him carrying her drugs, to boss around, to beg strangers for money and later. When he got older, to take care of her while she was rotting away in drugging haze, the only thing her brother had left of Angelia was a picture of them laying side by side on the dirty carpet, clumsily taken with his mother's old polaroid camera. He stretched his arms to include both of their smiling faces as he took the picture.

Once Angelia was taken away from him and he was left in a loveless home, he held onto the hope that she was alright and that she was alive. As the years went by, he grew obsessed with finding her, because in his mind, she was the light to his dark, she was made for him to hold, to protect, to ease and heal his pain. When he was fifteen, his mother overdose and he was put in foster care and later adopted to a couple, his adoptive father worked in cyber security and bonded with him through reaching him alm he knew about technology. During all the years, he never stopped trying to look for his sister. In college, he hacked into the local adoption agency from his hometown and found her name and her adoptive parents' address. Further finding showed that she had been under his nose for the last couple of years she was studying in Ogume.

“This is crazy,” Kingston muttered, anger boiling up his body as we continued on the information we had gathered about her stalker.

And so, he watched her from afar, it was enough for him until it wasn't. He needed to get closer, so he infiltrated her life with her friend Andy and became his boyfriend. James was finally getting a more intimate look into his sister's life and again, he was satisfied until he learned about us betraying her, making her cry and hurting her. He couldn't handle it, he couldn't let us be around her so then, he did what any brothers would have done, he continued his stalking and sent her a warning.

The warning was his shell breaking, this was the first time he contacted her as him and not a role he was playing as her best friend's boyfriend. He couldn't stop himself from contacting her further, making a connection with her through birthday gifts he never got to give her. He was crazy enough to beat himself up to hide his suspicions at the nightclub when she was trying to find her stalker by dancing with a stranger.

“I still can't believe this. This is totally insane.” Riccardo muttered.

However, the more she fought against James's threats, the more frustrated he became. He needed her to listen, for her own safety that we were not good for her and we didn't deserve her. He hated it, but he needed to scare her to listen to him. It was for her own good, after all. In a last desperate attempt to separate her from her men now that she was living with us, he drug Andy with sleeping pills and then send a picture of him to her, warning her to come alone to Andy's apartment. Even with our warnings, she couldn't listen, saying she didn't want to risk Andy’s life. She was terrified of risking Andy and forgot about everything as she ran to Andy to make sure he was breathing. But we couldn't let her be alone even though it was strictly ordered she should be alone. We couldn't let that happen, we followed secretly.

Just as she gets to him, he sneaks up behind her and stabs a needle in her neck, drugging her.

“What the fuck,” Kingston muttered, ready to bounce on him but Riccardo stopped him.

“Let's watch his moves and actions first, we don't want to risk her life more.”

He forced her into the car and drove off, and we followed behind. They halted at a house, it looked normal until we got to the basement. It contained his computer equipment, along with all the pictures and souvenirs he had collected of her, from his own personal stalking and through the internet. There he lays her in bed and lets her sleep off the drug and once she regains herself back, he tells her the truth of him being his brother and the stalker and that she doesn't need to feel scared of him again because they were brother and sister.

We watched her trick James to loosen the ties on her just a little so she could drink water and an alarm on his computer goes off. Riccardo, always the one prepared, had gifted her with a necklace that had a tracker installed in it, we were already standing at his back. Horrified, Angelia sees James reach for a gun and goes out to meet Riccardo and Kingston as they were approaching the door to the basement. Then I heard gunshots and then another and last one.

I opened the door, came running to her and I quickly untied her and checked for injuries. Kingston comes next and then Riccardo, his hand holding his shoulder, blood dripping from between his fingers, we are all alive. It turns out that James had managed one shot before Kingston shot back, one in his arms and the next right in his chest, killing him instantly.

“You are safe now, sunshine.” I whispered, trying to calm her as she was about to hyperventilate.

“B.. but, Riccardo. He was shot.”

“I am fine, honey, just a starch but it will heal with your love and tender care.” She smiles between her tears.

“W.. what about Andy?” She asked.

“Don't worry, he is fine now, he is in the hospital.”

“We had already called the police and an ambulance for Andy.” I assured her.

Although Andy didn't have any physical lasting damage, he would gain trust issues from what his boyfriend had done. Poor guy.

“Can we go and see him?” She asked.

“Of course, if that will make my little angel happy.” She smiled and hugged Kingston tightly.

“Thank you,” she murmured.

Our girl is finally back, our bond is once again getting stronger now that the stalker issues have been dealt with. She is ours and we are hers forever.
