Chapter 43 Whatever It Takes

We have an early morning meeting at the club today. Mike sounded a bit on edge so it has to be big. But first I need to get my ass out of bed. Mason is sprawled all over my body so it is a bit difficult to move.

Becca ~"Mason can you stop hogging me for a second"

Becca ~"I need to get ready for work."

Mason ~"What's the rush baby? I thought you working the late shift today?"

Becca ~"The boss has a big announcement to make. I got to be there before we open."

Mason ~"What big announcement?"

Becca ~"I have no idea."

I finally get my legs to myself and jump into the shower.

Mason ~"Baby don't you even have a minute to spare?"

Becca ~"No."

Mason ~"Why not?"

Becca ~"I just had a shower."

Mason ~"You can shower again."

Becca ~"No."

Mason ~"Why not?"

Becca ~"I have to get dressed."

Mason ~"Fuck baby are you really going to wear that?"

Becca ~"Mason don't even think you can tell me what to wear."

Mason ~"I would never do that baby."

Becca ~"I'm late, I will see you at the club tonight."

If I have to be honest with myself, this thing with Mason has run its course. I am so fucking bored with him, not even to mention that I do not want to have sex with him either. I need to dump his ass before he gets too attached.

But I will worry about that tonight, now I need to know what this big announcement is.

I get to the club and everyone is standing at the bar with Mike and the boss.

Owner ~"Girls today will be my last day here at Spangles."

Becca ~"What?"

Becca ~"Are we closing down?"

Owner ~"No babe, the club has a new Owner."

Becca ~"Why? I thought you loved the club?"

Owner ~"I do but he made me a really good offer."

Jenni ~"Who the fuck is he?"

Owner ~"You don't know him. He won't be here that much from what he has told me either. But one of his guys will."

Becca ~"It sounds dodgy. Where is this mysterious boss?"

Owner ~"He is not here today but the guy that is going to run the place is."

Out steps the guy that is going to run the club from the office.

Becca ~"Tristan!"

Jenni ~"Tristan!"

Becca ~"What the fuck are you doing here?"

Tristan ~"The boss bought the club."

Becca ~"The boss as in Josh?"

Tristan ~"Yes."

Becca ~"Why?"

Tristan ~"To keep an eye on you."

Becca ~"Why?"

Tristan ~"He does not like you working here."

Becca ~"I am going to kill him. Where is he?"

Tristan ~"At the club."

Becca ~"I am going there."

Tristan ~"Becca please don't. He is in a bad mood today."

Becca ~"I don't give a shit."

Half hour later I am pulling up in front Dynasti, I can see his car standing in the parking lot.

I go into the club and head straight for his office.

Becca ~"Who the fuck do you think you are?"

Josh ~"Morning Becca."

Becca ~"Do not fucking morning Becca me."

Josh ~"I guess you just came from work?"

Becca ~"Yes only to hear your stupid lame ass bought the club."

Josh ~"Yes I did."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"I thought it was a good investment."

Becca ~"Don't fucking lie to me."

Josh ~"I am not."

Becca ~"Tristan says you want to keep an eye on me."

Josh ~"For fucks sakes. Remind me to break his fucking jaw."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"Why what?"

Becca ~"Why did you buy the place?"

Josh ~"I felt like it."

Becca ~"Bullshit."

Josh ~"I don't like you working there."

Becca ~"So you buy the place?"

Josh ~"Yes."

Becca ~"What if I quit and go work somewhere else?"

Josh ~"I will buy that place too."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"I hate you working in these shit holes."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"Because I care about you."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"Because I do."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"Just because I do."

Becca ~"Why?"

Josh ~"What the fuck! Is there an echo in here? What's up with the fucking why's?"

Becca ~"So you are technically my new boss?"

Josh ~"Technically yes."

Becca ~"Well technically I quit."

Josh ~"You joking?"

Becca ~"No I am not."

Becca ~"Do you want it in writing?"

Josh ~"Fuck you impossible."

Fuck I can't believe how stupid I am. I just quit my job just to piss Josh off. How dumb can I be?

Josh ~"If you don't want to stop working at that god awful place then you can run it."

Becca ~"What do you mean?"

Josh ~"You run the club."

Becca ~"What about Tristan?"

Josh ~"He is too dumb to even write his name."

Becca ~"Why did you ask him in the first place?"

Josh ~"Because I don't want Mason there."

Becca ~"Why not?"

Josh ~"Because he is a horny fuck. You two will never work."

Becca ~"Who says I would have fucked him?"

Josh ~"You forget who you talking to."

Becca ~"Well it would not have happened."

Josh ~"Don't tell me you already bored with him?"

Becca ~"Maybe I am."

Josh ~"You are really full of shit."

Becca ~"I am not."

Josh ~"Yes you are."

Becca ~"No I am not."

Josh ~"Then why do you insist on pissing me off?"

Becca ~"I don't."

Josh ~"You do."

Becca ~"No I don't."

Josh ~"Yes you do."

Becca ~"What do you mean?"

Josh ~"You enjoy pissing me off with all this goddamn men."

Becca ~"I don't."

Josh ~"Yes you do."

Becca ~"No I don't."

Josh ~"Then what is it that you do?"

Becca ~"Piss you off with these goddamn men."

Josh ~"For fuck sakes."

Josh ~"If you weren't with that asshole I would have kissed you right now."

Becca ~"I am not with the asshole."

Josh ~"Then why the fuck is the dumb ass waiting for you."

Becca ~"Fuck. How do I get rid of him?"

Josh ~"The same way you get rid of me every time."

Becca ~"I am not that bad. Am I?"

Josh ~"I don't have enough fingers to count how many times you have dumped my ass."

Becca ~"Maybe we just not meant to be together?"

Josh ~"Bullshit. You have commitment issues."

Becca ~"No I don't."

Josh ~"Yes you do."

Becca ~"I don't."

Josh ~"Then which out of all the pricks do you want to be with?"

Becca ~"You."

Josh ~"Then what is your problem?"

Becca ~"I have commitment issues."

Josh ~"Fuck you are impossible."

Becca ~"But seriously. How do I break up with Mason?"

Josh ~"I can't believe you asking me this shit. Do you want me to fire him?"

Becca ~"No."

Josh ~"Just stop your fucking bullshit and come back home."

Becca ~"I am home."

Josh ~"Really?"

Becca ~"Yes."

Josh ~"Then why do you still have my key?"
