Chapter 15
Kendras POV
the moment Alex shifts I gasp in shock and so does everyone else except Richard, he only looks troubled.
Alex's wolf is big due to having alpha blood, but there's something about the wolf that makes me shake in terror. the fur of the wolf is incredible. it looks brown yet due to the light it looks blood red. the eyes of the wolf change from brown to red in an instant.
her wolf looks fierce, there's a fire in its eyes that causes me to panic and scream as an image of Alex in my dreams pops up in my head.
Richard comes running towards me and he yells "tell your husband to shift back!" I just tremble in fear and I begin to cry. "if he doesn't Alex will kill him! my daughters wolf is known for being the most ruthless being in the world!"
"I can't!" I scream covering my eyes as I cry "shes not my daughter! that thing is a monster!"
the moment those words escape my lips a loud growl escapes Alex's wolf as she stares at me in anger.
without warning my husband throws himself in top of Alex and they both begin to fight it out.
I suddenly calm down when is see that my husband is winning as he has Alex pinned down below him. my feelings begin to win over me and all I can feel is calm and happiness, but that feeling doesn't last when I see Alex bite my husband's leg as he whines from the pain.
now we have two bleeding werewolves growling at each other. both with different genders and strengths, different positions in life and goals. one is a king who is filled with power and pride, a wolf expected to do greatness.
the other a shameful child born from two unmated people. a girl with strength and determination, a wolf expected to suffer throughout her entire life.
As they both lunge towards each other the expectations of those around are broken. there lies the king in his human form with blood in his arm and his chest. the one born to do greatness fell and the one born from shames looks down at him with soft brown eyes as she slowly moves away in her wolf form, and all I can do is scream.
Richard runs towards my husband and suddenly all I see is pitch black darkness.
Blaises POV
the queen faints and Richard and the man who the queen brought carry the king who is slowly healing away from Alex as she walks towards me in her wolf form.
I know that after seeing her almost kill a man, that if I was a normal human being I would be trembling in fear but I'm not.
instead I feel safe and warm. my leg is almost healed and all I can think to myself is how beautiful her wolf is.
she gets closer to me and her wolf licks on my leg and it starts to burn. I try my hardest not to scream from the pain that I let out a groan. she suddenly stops licking me and turns to look up at me with sadness in her eyes.
she slowly shifts back into her human form and she kisses me in the cheek gently as she lowers her kisses to my neck. I grab her waist and pull her towards me and the moment I feel the sparks I lose myself as I sigh.
suddenly I run my hand up her back and I freeze when I realize that she's naked and on top of me.
I swallow hard 'shit'
