CHAPTER 26
It's great since we always converse and eat together after that day.
Embarrassingly, I was disgusted with myself. "What the? What is it, Elyse! Wake up! Why do you always remember him huh, that's why you can't forget him eh!
I just walked out of the room to begin cleaning and cooking. Sir Xander appears to still be asleep even though I've accomplished all the tasks I needed to do at home.
I considered going to his room and arousing him. I knocked but no one answered, and I kept knocking but to no avail. Are you still asleep, Sir Xander?
I yelled at him to get up, "Sir, wake up! It's morning! It's midday! It's almost night!" but he was still asleep.
Is he dozing off or simply refusing to respond as he did yesterday?
He's still asleep, what time is it? Does he has culinary skills? Considering that he is the only person present, he must prepare the meal. Maybe he just placed an order. It's frightening to think that you might get lost and be unable to find your way back, so I'm confident nobody will come here.
I keep knocking, my foot needs to be standing here because no one has opened the door until now. "Sir Xander let's eat! I'm starving!"
In case it wasn't locked, I tried turning the doorknob, and sure enough, it was unlocked! Do you hear me knocking? I can walk in and shake his shoulder and then strangle him to rouse him up.
I entered the room slowly after opening the door slowly. He was only wearing boxer shorts when I caught him sleeping on his bed.
I simultaneously cover both of my eyes and say, "Oh, my unvirgin eyes."
The actions I was taking had me feeling unsettled.
I sat down on the edge of the bed and gently walked over to him.
I'm new here, so why do I feel connected? Elyse, it's okay; just get used to it; that's simply who you are.
I took a look around his room, and everything seemed fine. The size was fine, and the paint was still black.
I looked at Sir Xander who was now still asleep and thought to myself, "Hey, what type of house is this, the house of the black demon?"
My kid, who is like that while she sleeps, always comes to mind. The slightly wide mouth and the adorable yet reserved expression.
Even though it's only been a day, I already miss my daughter. Yes, we did see each other yesterday, but that didn't satisfy me. I want to go home and give her a big embrace. Even though I had a busy day at work, I made sure to visit her for at least an hour before letting her go.
I acknowledge to myself that I miss Daren as well as my daughter.
"I wouldn't force you if you had just previously told me that you didn't love me! Keep in mind that if you go, I won't chase you as a dog would! I don't care how long we've been in a relationship or how long we've loved one another—I don't want to be a fool in front of someone like you! "
"Okay, then let's break off!"
Everything you said, Elyse, is correct; you're even more correct that you are a human, not a dog to chase him. Okay? You deserve someone better, or perhaps there isn't a man for me.
