Chapter 12 Shit, shit, shit. Where the hell is Saraphina!?

Alright, I knew it was wrong to mess with my stepsister’s head. But for fuck’s sake, she was just too pretty. How was she still a virgin? I did not get it. Guys must be lining up for her. Just look at her. I kept wondering how she made it eighteen years without ever feeling the best thing a person can feel.
While we drove to the party, I stole a look when she was not watching. The sight was something else. She had on these tight jeans that curved around her ass just right. And that top, falling off her shoulders… her collarbone was basically begging for my mouth.
Get a grip, man.
Yeah, I knew she was off limits. In two months, she would be my actual stepsister. Goddamn it. Now she was biting her lip. Her skin was so smooth, with a soft pink color, and I had to shove my hands in my pockets to stop them from wanting to…oh shit, she was looking right at me. Look away!
Saraphina
After a drive that felt long, we got to a huge beach house that looked like a mansion. Cars were parked all over the place. The party was clearly in full swing.
I walked in behind Ryan, and everyone he passed said hello. He called every girl "honey" or "babe" and every guy "man" or "bro." I guess when you have that many friends, you stop learning names.
I was not like Ryan. I was just a normal person who liked to stay in the background. I know I am quiet, and I am fine with that. I do well with a few people, but in a crowd like this, I felt completely lost.
Ryan was busy talking to a girl with dark hair and full lips. Her backside was as big as a Kardashian’s. Her name was Vanessa, I think. He had that silly, flirty smile on his face, and they could not keep their hands off each other.
It looked like Ryan would be occupied for a while. I saw the way Vanessa watched him. She took his hand, and they walked off somewhere else. Just great. Ryan had left me, and now I was totally alone in a room full of sweaty people I did not know.
I decided the living room, full of dancing and people kissing, was not for me. I headed outside toward the beach instead.
Ah, the open air. That was much better.
I was just standing there, not bothering anyone, when some drunk guy walked past and gave me a gross, creepy look.
"Hey there, pretty thing. Want to dance?" he slurred.
Ew. No.
I shook my head and walked away fast.
I guess it was not safe to stand by yourself at a party. I did not want to attract any more weirdos or drunks. So I looked around and saw a group of people sitting around a bonfire. They seemed nice enough. I walked over and sat down near a few girls. I was not trying to make friends, just trying to disappear into the crowd.
"Hey," the girl next to me said.
"Hi," I answered.
"I do not think we have met. I am Anna," she said, holding out her hand.
"I am Saraphina. It is nice to meet you," I said, shaking it.
"This is Esther," Anna said, pointing to the girl beside her. From the way she moved and smiled at me, I could tell Esther was pretty drunk. "Want a beer?" she asked, holding a can out to me.
"Sure, thanks," I said, taking it.
"Do you know anyone here?" Anna asked.
"Well, I am Ryan’s stepsister. Do you guys know him?"
Esther and Anna started laughing right away.
"Girl, everyone on this island knows Ryan Jake Williams. That is who you mean, right? RJ?" Esther said.
"Yeah, that is him."
"Well, your stepbrother is a fucking legend," she laughed.
The two girls then filled me in on stories about the famous RJ and his many sexual adventures. They also mentioned a little about him being a promising professional surfer. But that part was totally overshadowed by the first thing.
"Everyone knows he is a total player. But still, girls line up to be with him," Anna said, rolling her eyes.
"Why do you think that is?" I asked.
The girls exchanged a look.
"Well, I have to say, he is very good at the game. And just between us, the rumor is that he is really big…" Anna started.
"And really good in bed. Knows exactly what he is doing," Esther finished.
"But I have a theory. I think girls are so crazy for him because they love bad boys, right? They all think they can change him," Anna added.
"And you do not think that is possible?" I asked.
"Tame the beast?" Esther laughed, a mocking sound. "Honey, if it could be done, I have not seen it happen yet."
"But what about that Vanessa? I heard they might be dating?" Anna replied.
"Vanessa Taylor? Hell no. They are just fuckbuddies. I mean, Ryan is crazy, but he is not that shallow," Esther said, laughing.
As the girls kept talking, I noticed the beer can in my hand was empty. Whoops. I am not the drinking and partying type, so one can of beer was enough to make me feel a little light-headed.
"Hey," I heard a voice coming toward me.
"Dimple guy!" I said instantly. I did not know where this sudden bravery came from, probably the beer.
"Dimple guy? My name is Cameron. We met before," he said kindly, sitting down next to me.
"Right. It is just that you have the cutest dimples. They are hard to forget," I said. Cameron smiled at me.
"You are Saraphina, right? RJ’s stepsister? Want me to get you another drink?"
"That would be lovely, thank you," I said, tossing the empty can away.
A little while later, Cameron came back with two cocktail glasses.
"Do not drink the beer, it is all warm now. Drink this instead," he said.
"What is it?" I asked, and before he could even answer, I drank the whole thing down.
"It is Vodka and some, whoa, slow down there," he said as I coughed. My throat was on fire, but I felt great! "That was really good," I said.
I do not remember the rest of our conversation. He was talking to me about some boring topic like Hawaiian alcohols or whatever. Still, I have to admit, Cameron could have talked to any other girl, but he chose to sit with me. It felt kind of nice to be picked, I guess. And maybe it was the drink, or the bonfire, or my own hormones, but I was starting to think Cameron was sort of cute.
After some time passed, the happy, bubbly feeling vanished. I started to feel sick and dizzy.
"Are you okay? You do not look so good," Cameron said.
"Uh… I do not feel good," was all I could manage.
"Do you need to go home?" he asked.
"Yeah, but I have to wait for Ryan. He is my ride," I slurred.
"Well, I can take you home," he offered.
"Really? Is that okay?"
"Of course, do not worry about it. Come on." He held out his hand and I took it. He helped me up and we walked toward the house.
"Wait, I should tell Ryan so he will not be looking for me," I said to him. I scanned the room to see if Ryan was there, but I could not find him.
"You can just call him," Cameron said.
"I do not have his number."
"I have RJ’s number, here." Cameron took out his phone.
I got mine out too and started to dial Ryan’s number. Meanwhile, Cameron led me out of the house. The phone rang and rang, but Ryan did not pick up.
Since he was not answering, I decided to just leave Ryan a message. I followed Cameron into his SUV.
Ryan
I always have a good time when I see Vanessa at a party. But for some reason, today I was just not into it.
What the hell was wrong with me?
I took my eyes off Saraphina for one minute and she vanished. Vanessa said she was probably off having fun, making new friends. But I still felt bad about leaving her by herself.
"Baby, why are you so tense? Relax," Vanessa said, kissing my neck. I was lying on a bed in one of the guest rooms, and Vanessa was on top of me.
"Hey, I think I should go find.."
"Shush," she cut me off, putting her finger on my lips. She looked at me with a seductive expression. I kissed her finger and sucked on it gently. She moaned.
"Relax now, baby. I am going to take care of you, okay?" She slipped her finger out of my mouth and started sucking on it herself. Then she put her hand inside my jeans and began to move her hand slowly.
I let out a groan, and she looked very pleased with herself.
BUZZ! BUZZ!
Even though I should have been focused on Vanessa, I saw my phone vibrating on the bedside table. I glanced over. An unknown number was calling me.
An unknown number? I do not have to answer that.
Vanessa started to unbutton my jeans and pulled the zipper down. She smiled when she saw I was getting hard. I grabbed a handful of her hair and smiled, knowing what was coming next.
Vanessa pulled my boxers down and started covering my cock with kisses. She lightly kissed the tip, then began to suck on it hard.
"Yes, baby," I said through my teeth.
BUZZ! BUZZ!
My phone vibrated again, but this time it was a text.
Why did I feel like I needed to check it?
"Hold on, give me a second," I said to Vanessa, sitting up and grabbing my phone. She gasped and looked shocked.
Unknown Number: Hey Ry its Saraphina, I cannt find u but just let u know Cameron is takeing my home. Cu at house.
Fuck! Saraphina is going home with Cameron?! Shit, I have to stop her! And what is with all the typos? Do not tell me she is drunk too?!
"What is going on?" Vanessa asked, trying to push me back down on the bed.
"I have to go," I said, quickly pushing her away and fixing my pants.
"Are you for real?" she yelled, furious.
"Sorry, babe. I will make it up to you." I gave her a fast kiss and ran out of the room in seconds.
"Call me!" I heard Vanessa shout after me.
I did not care about her or anything else right then. I pushed through the crowd of people in the house, searching for Saraphina everywhere. When I could not find her, I got more and more panicked. I asked a bunch of people if they had seen her, but no one had.
Shit, shit, shit. Where the hell is Saraphina!?
