Chapter 176
*DEBBIE KENDALL POV*
“James, is he already waiting for me?”
"Yes! Come on, come down soon.”
Suddenly Kevin appeared offering me his hand, he waited for me to take it and helped me to my feet.
“Come on, you idiot is waiting for you.”
We walked around the front of the property until we approached the garden, walking slowly because of the dress. The music was already playing, I held Kevin's arm as if my life depended on it, realizing that I was nervous, he praised me to break the mood:
"You look beautiful."
“Thanks, Kevin.”
“No need to be nervous, James should be. He’s going to marry an amazing, terribly badass woman.”
“Come on, beautiful. Put a smile on your face, it’s your wedding.”
And so we reached the red carpet, I walked through the crowd that was standing and watching us until we reached the altar. There I saw him standing in front of me waiting for me, his beautiful face covered with a few tears of happiness sliding down his face. The white suit fit his body well, it highlighted all his magnitude and sensuality, and he looked beautiful. Kevin handed me over to him and soon joined Alisson in the front seat.
The ceremony began and we soon heard the judge speak about the importance of marriage, how majestic it was for a couple to come together according to how they feel about each other, the love, the companionship. As he spoke I could admire the man who was next to me, marrying me, I was very happy, and I felt the crazy urge to cry.
“Debbie Kendal, do you accept James as your lawful husband, to love, respect, and support him in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health until death do you part?”
"Yes!" I responded with euphoria.
“And you, James Smith, accept Debbie as your lawfully wedded wife…” He interrupted the judge.
"Accepted! I accept!” Everyone laughed.
“By the will that you both have just stated before me, to receive each other as husband and wife, I, in the name of the law, declare you married. You can kiss the bride."
At her words, James pulled me towards him and kissed me deeply.
All the guests clapped and congratulated us afterward. We greeted everyone and thanked them for being there, some I didn't even know who they were, but James knew them.
“I knew they would end up getting married.” Said Ariel, after hugging me tightly.
“Thank you for coming.” I thanked her, looking at her together with her husband, Arthur.
“I wouldn’t miss it, I wanted to confirm if it was a boy.” James looked at him.
“So... You knew!”
“It wasn’t difficult to understand. You don’t know women as well as I do.”
”Oh! and even?" Arthur looked at her without knowing what to say.
After greeting everyone we went to the ballroom, we had the bride and groom waltz and then we sat at the table to eat and drink, I held Ithan in my arms for a while until I fell asleep, I spent the rest of the day without having him in my arms. my arms. During the party, Alisson, Ariel, and I danced in the room, having fun while the mafia trio stared at us, with glasses of drinks in their hands. After finishing the party, James and I said goodbye to everyone, even Ithan, then with our bags packed we went to the jet that Kevin lent us and headed to the Bahamas, where our honeymoon was great.
After a long bath and having sex in the sea, we fell into bed with a view of the beautiful open sky above our heads. James was stroking my hair, I turned to him and I kissed his sweet lips.
“I’m going to join the underworld.”
"He is sure?"
“I need to know the real me.”
“Do you think you’ll meet her killing people?”
"Who knows..."
“If that’s what you want, then I support you.” I smiled happily and kissed her mouth again.
"I love you."
“I love you too, Mrs. Smith.”
One thing I was sure of, being by your side made me feel alive, I felt good in your arms, listening to your sweet voice and your breath against my neck. Maybe at first, I hated him, but I'm happy that everything has changed and that now I have my own family, a beautiful and attentive husband, naughty and understanding in the right way, I felt lucky to have him by my side, luckier still to know that he corresponds to what I feel.
