Andrea then turned to look at the employees.
The usually lively Sabrina Rasmussen said with a sob, “Ms. Rehbein, after we finished eating, we were planning to move some other paintings to the exhibition hall for rearrangement. Somehow, I accidentally bumped into a stand, and it fell down and hit the oil painting next to it, causing a big hole in the painting…”
Quincy was fuming on the side.
“That painting “The Dreamy Garden of Dawn‘ is a masterpiece by the famous artist Carl Adson during his peak creative period. It’s the highlight of his garden series and the only one held by a private collector, while the other five are all treasured by major museums.

“The collector only agreed to exhibit because of Mr. Maxwell’s face. Now everything has been ruined by you. What should we do?!”
Andrea bit her lip, feeling a bit frustrated.
This painting, no matter the artist’s status, the scarcity of the work, or its artistic value.
It’s all priceless.
She cleared her dry throat and said to Quincy, “I want to reach out to Mr. Maxwell to see if we can come up with a solution together.”
Quincy sneered, “Contact him? I suggest you not to bother, just think about how to compensate instead!”
“Oh? Looks like you’re in big trouble!”

Bradley came back to get his car keys he forgot, and ended up seeing something really funny. He didn’t rush to leave, but instead joined in the fun with a smirk on his face.
Andrea didn’t have time to deal with this dog now.
She was anxious and desperate to get in touch with Emerson, to see if things could turn around.
The phone was quickly answered.
“Mr. Maxwell, I’ve heard about my employee accidentally damaging the artwork, I’m really sorry that this happened, our gallery will definitely do our best to make up for the loss, can you give us a chance to discuss and find a solution together…”
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.
Emerson’s heavy voice came through, with a hint of resignation.
“Ms. Rehbein, this is serious. The value of this painting far exceeds what most people can imagine. Of course, I know you didn’t mean to, but you also understand that this art exhibition involves many people, and I can’t make all the decisions on my own.”
Andrea spoke softly and gently.
“Mr. Maxwell, I totally get where you’re coming from. Don’t worry, we’ll definitely take proactive measures on our end. Just hoping to brainstorm and find a chance for a proper solution.”
“I want to check the surveillance footage first to see if we can reconstruct the situation at that time. It will also be helpful for me to communicate with all parties again.”
“Yeah, you go ahead and check, I will also communicate with all parties again.”

“Thank you, you’re welcome, Mr. Maxwell.”
Andrea and Caspar quickly arrived at the monitoring room of the exhibition.
But when they checked the surveillance footage, they found out that the incident happened in a blind spot of the camera.
“The surveillance only captured a small corner, so we couldn’t really see the exact details of what happened at that time.”
Andrea’s heart sank to the bottom of the valley
Once the accusation is confirmed.
Based on the valuable value of that oil painting, they will have to face a huge compensation
And to top it off, there were rumors flying around…
For the gallery, it could be a devastating blow
