Chapter 122
Roderick was still standing in the rain, letting the rain pour down on him.
His clothes were already soaked, looking disheveled, but he seemed oblivious, stubbornly standing there, staring blankly in the direction of the upstairs.
The next day, Andrea woke up.
Just as she pulled back the curtains, she was shocked by the scene in front of her.
Outside was a mess, some sturdy trees were blown down, lying across the road.
She turned around to get ready to wash up, but unexpectedly bumped into a warm embrace.
“Morning.”
Quinn’s voice had a lazy tone, looking down at her.
We looked at each other and suddenly things got a bit awkward.
Quinn broke the silence first.
“How did you sleep last night?”
Andrea smiled.
“I slept well.”
Quinn looked at the obvious bruise under her eye, didn’t mention it,

just smiled lightly.
“That’s good; I’m going to the company later, not sure what time I’ll be back.”
He took out a spare card and handed it to her, saying.
“This card is for you, do whatever you want, don’t make yourself unhappy.”
Andrea took the card, it was his sincerity and responsibility, she wouldn’t refuse.
However, she wouldn’t use this card either.
“I
was planning to go to the gallery. Before going back to my country, I had already made a work plan. Since I have time now, I might as well implement it ahead of time.”
Quinn’s eyes darkened, and Caspar’s face popped into his mind.
As a man, he naturally understood what the look in the boy’s eyes towards Andrea meant.
But he still nodded, “Okay, I promised you that even if I become Mrs. Shillingford, you can still do what you like, but…”
“I’m worried about you being alone, so I’ll arrange for two bodyguards to accompany you.”
“Okay, I’ll listen to you.”
Their breakfast was freshly toasted whole wheat bread, paired with a cup of creamy hot milk.
After eating breakfast, Quinn left first.

Just as I stepped out, I could faintly hear the passersby chatting not far
away.
“Last night’s rain was really heavy!”
“Yeah, by the way, did you see that? Last night, there was a guy standing under that street light all night, letting the wind and rain hit him, not sure if he’s crazy or just a homeless man.”
Quinn paused, a hint of sarcasm playing on his lips.
He definitely knew who that person was, but some people, no matter how self–destructive, can’t change anything.
Thinking, he bent down and got into the car, driving towards the direction of the company.
When the morning light pierced through the clouds, the black business car parked steadily in front of the gallery.
Andrea just opened the car door, and two bodyguards in black suits smoothly got out of the car, one on each side standing next to her.
Inside the gallery’s glass door, Tessa’s hand shook as she wiped the picture frames.
“What…what a scene!”
With blue and purple highlights in her hair, Serena Dorsey dashed out holding a coffee cup, her eyes darting between the sharp figure of the bodyguard and Andrea’s blushing cheeks.
“Ms. Rehbein, did Mr. Shillingford bring in his private security team?”
Other employees heard the noise and followed it out of the gallery, gathering at the door.

The intermittent exclamations were mixed with laughter.
“Last time I saw this kind of style, it was at the airport when I bumped into a celebrity getting off the plane!”
“Rich families are really different, even going to work feels like filming an idol drama!”
