Chapter 11
She lay in bed, tossing and turning for a long time, not being
able to sleep.
Nights always made one sentimental, especially at a time like
this.
The man she had loved for seven years was now with his
fiancee.
She closed her eyes, trying to sleep as quickly as possible, but
her mind kept wandering uncontrollably.
Just then, she heard suggestive sounds from the room next
door.
It was a woman’s gentle moans mixed with a man’s low panting.
With Matilda and Roderick next door, she knew easily what
they were doing.
She thought, “Every corner in this place holds memories of me
and Roderick’s intimate moments.
“And now, they’re gonna overwrite ours with theirs.
Chapter 11
“I knew this day would come eventually. But do they really
have to do this while I’m here?”
Biting her lip hard, she wrapped herself with the blanket
tightly, not wanting to hear anything.
But their moans and gasps still reached her ears loud and clear.
In Roderick’s room.
A porn was played on Matilda’s phone. She deliberately maxed
out the volume so that Andrea could hear.
She sneered, thinking, “Andrea, I’m so curious. How long can
you endure?”
Just then, Roderick pushed the door open and entered.
“Matilda? What are you doing?”
She seemed innocent. “Roderick, someone shared a funny video
in the group chat. Come over here and take a look.”
Roderick curved his lips.
He saw through her little game effortlessly.
But he wasn’t going to do anything about it.
Chapter 11
Because he was curious, too, about Andrea’s reaction.
“It’s getting late. Get some rest.”
After saying this, he went back to the study and closed the door.
The sultry sounds from the video turned him on.
Roderick lay in bed and played a video on his phone. In the next
second, Andrea’s face, shy with desire, came into his view.
His breathing grew heavier as their moments in bed emerged in
his mind.
He’d make do with his hands tonight. When the time came, he’d
make sure Andrea repay him twofold.
In her room, Andrea tossed and turned in bed, not being able to
sleep at all, as her mind kept playing scenes of Matilda and
Roderick in bed.
It hurt so much that she couldn’t even breathe.
She finally drifted to sleep when it was almost dawn, only to be
jolted awake by a nightmare a few hours later.
She was drenched in cold sweat.
Not longer sleepy, she got out of bed to fetch some water.
Chapter 11
Right after she stepped out of the door, a sharp pain shot
through her wrist.
In the next second, she found herself in a warm embrace.
Roderick chuckled as he pinned her against the corner of the
wall, grabbing her wrists with his left hand and tracing her
slender waist with his right hand.
“You…”
Andrea tried to say something, but he kissed her and silenced
her.
She tried desperately to break free, but as usual, her strength
was no match for his.
After quite a long time, he finally let go of her lips in
satisfaction.
He looked at her with a faint warning in his eyes. “What is it?
You didn’t want my kiss?”
Of course, she didn’t.
His kiss made her sick. After all, he had just spent a while night
in bed with another woman.
She tried hard to suppress her feelings and tilted her head away.
Chapter 11
“Ms. Turner is here. You don’t want her to see this,” she said.
“Are you afraid?”
Roderick chuckled, his warm breath brushing against her face.
“Don’t you think this spices things up?”
