Twenty nine
Ruby's POV.
I slept so early at the terminal night and woke up later after a bit of a flash of the terrible nightmare. I felt doubted if it's actually real or fake until I woke up horribly from the scary dream.
I meet myself in a dark place so scarier than I can imagine. I felt so anxious and didn't know what to do at that moment.
"What could I have done?" I said to myself as I dust-up immediately and began to call for help. I started wandering around in darkness screaming for help. Suddenly, I heard a strange voice coming from an unknown angle.
"Help!" I screamed out louder as the voice became close to me. I become scarier than before as the strange voice appears.
I looked around to check where the strange voices were coming from but unfortunately I saw no traces of a single person. I couldn't take it anymore and the voices were becoming closer to me.
"Please show yourself" I said angrily to the strange voice.
"Will you actually wait for me if I show myself?" The voice responded.
"Who the hell are you please?" I shouted angrily at the strange voice.
"Haha…… I'm me" the strange voice responded laughing.
The laughter of the unknown voice became really annoying and I couldn't hold it up. I continued running as fast as I could without having a destination.
After running at a point, I ran to a crowd of people going on the way and I tried seeking help but it seemed as if they couldn't hear me. "What's all this" I asked myself in annoyance soaking in fear.
After running far away in the dark night, I felt a bit relieved for a while as the voices stopped for a moment. I moved closer to the shop near me and sat down on a chair breathing heavily. Few minutes later, a terrible sound comes from an unknown angle with a solid echo which turns the whole place into fire.
"Help……!" I screamed out louder as I woke up from the terrible dream.
I woke up wondering if I was actually dreaming or if all the dreams were real. I felt so surprised to see my room light up. The curtains in my room had caught fire.
I felt so confused and was so shocked, everything was still like a dream to me.
I felt really lost and didn't even know what to do at that moment. I was just sitting at one angle watching without even calling anyone for help.
The fire became more and more and smoke filled the room. The smoke in the room got so dangerously high that it began to enter my lungs.
My heart races now more than ever but I'm helpless as the fire comes very close and I begin to crawl all the way to the door.
Immediately I got to the door, I fainted, my nails were scraping the wood painfully and the fire was already at my feet.
