Part 48

The sunlight penetrated through the transparent window of the room, showering the two people who were still deep asleep in dreamland with warmth.

Sean blinked slowly adjusting the light entering his eyes while yawning. For some reason this morning felt different from the previous mornings. When looking at the red carpet next to the table Sean could see dust stuck to the surface of the carpet. Turning his gaze to the window, Sean could hear the sound of water falling off a leaf very clearly.

'Feeling something strange?' Stefan's mind seemed to read Sean's mind.

"I feel different."

'What do you feel?'

"I feel much more energized than before." Stefan stretched his muscles while yawning widely.

Sean thought for a moment trying to digest carefully what happened. His ability increases as his senses increase. Could it be the effect of mating? Immediately Sean turned to Lalita who was still sleeping beside him.

"Lita wake up."Sean shook Lalita's body a little so that she woke up a little in a semi-conscious state.

"What? Just let me sleep for a few more minutes."said Lalita while looking for another more comfortable position.

"Lalita you have to get up right now."

"Few more minutes."

"There's no time. I need you to get up now. Let's see what happened to your hair?"

Suddenly Lalita immediately woke up and jumped in front of the big mirror in the room. Lalita watched her reflection in the mirror with wide eyes. The shadow was not like his shadow. Like Herself in front of a mirror but in front of him is someone else's shadow. Her faded blonde hair had turned golden blonde. The shape of her face and lips changed to be stronger and more attractive than before. Her body felt much fuller and more powerful. The only thing that hasn't changed is the dark gray netra.

"What has happened?"Sean just shrugged his shoulders.

"Does it look bad?"Lalita turned to Sean with an expression of confusion, astonishment, and mixed with a bit of panic, making Sean feel the need to pinch his chubby cheeks.

"No,"Sean said casually as he stepped closer and brushed a few strands of Lalita's golden blonde hair that covered her face behind her ear.

"You look prettier, baby,"Praise Sean, who made Lalita's cheeks blush again like last night.

Stefan suddenly howled in protest. With a little impatience the wolf continued to howl and jump as a form of protest because it was ignored without being able to meet or speak directly with its mate.

"Damn wolf!"Sean swears.

"Stevan, don't roar carelessly. Don't you feel sorry for Sean? Even though I can't hear you, I know you definitely want to meet me and Rione in person, right?"Lalita said soothingly while stroking Sean's head gently. Sean's tense nerves are now getting better because Stefan, who is back to sitting quietly while licking his front paws, looks cute like a cat.

6Fine, I will obey your wishes."Sean rolled his eyes in embarrassment before taking a step back from Lalita before doing Shift.

Stefan's night black feathers seemed longer and glistened a little under the sun shining through the undrapered window. His white fangs looked longer and sharper than before. The most striking thing about Stefan's appearance is the two overlapping silver 'v' shaped markings on his forehead. A stark contrast to its jet-black dense fur.

Stefan immediately jumped into Lalita's arms so that the two of them were now in an overlapping position. Lalita fondly stroked Stefan's soft black fur while tickling his belly until the wolf rolled to and fro for pleasure. After being satisfied playing, Stefan let his head droop in Lalita's lap while enjoying the intoxicating aroma of his opium mate.

'I miss you mate.'Stefan wailed almost in a whiny voice.

"Aren't I always with you?"said while Lalita rubbed Stefan's head gently.

'Sean never let me out if I wasn't in combat condition. This isn't fair mate,'fought Stefan with puppy eyes in gold's eyes which are usually sharp and intimidating.

Lalita chuckled at Stevan's spoiled behavior like a child who was really cute.

"Wanna meet Rione. He's shy to say that he misses you."

'Of course' Stefan straightened his head while looking at Lalita with sparkling bright gold eyes.

It didn't take long for a beautiful wolf with fur as white as snow to appear in front of Stefan. Just as it seemed, there was a special mark on the wolf's forehead just like his.

'Rione.' Stefan exclaims softly looking at the clear blue net that has been charming since their first meeting when they were young.

'Stefan on your forehead too...'

'I know honey, the mark on my forehead is exactly the same as yours.' The two stared at the mirror simultaneously before facing each other.

'We are the same. We are mate and I'm happy because you are my mate. I love you Rione.' Stefan brought his face closer to Rione so that the two wolves' foreheads gently touched each other.

'I love you too.' great-grandson Rione.'I like your scent.' whispered Stefan while nuzzling his nose on Rione's neck. Rione licked Stevan's head back as a form of affection.

'I wish it had been longer.' Stefan sighed when he heard a knock on the door.

'I also hope so.' there was disappointment in Rione's eyes but Rione convinced Stevan to start his usual activities as the knock on the door got louder and louder.

Stevan lazily did Shift then opened the door with the body still being completely taken over. Sky, who was at the door, was a little tense knowing that Sean was under Stevan's control. But as much as possible Sky displays a serious expression regarding the problem to be discussed.

'What is it?' Stefan asked matter-of-factly.

"Alpha, last night Astoria ran away. Several dungeon warriors were poisoned. Not only that, this morning a band of rogues attacked the Southern border. What do you want to do next?" Sky reported with a serious expression mixed with tension.

Stefan was silent for a while digesting the information that Sky had brought. Astoria runs away. It's a shame he hasn't had the chance to give punishment to his half-sister who is unconscious. Not to mention rogues who dare to mess around in the Eclipse Pack territory.

"Alpha?"

'Find Astoria until you find her. For border matters leave it to me.' Stefan growled low before leaving Sky alone. A bad feeling overshadowed Lalita when she overheard Alpha and Beta's conversation.

A black shadow that could not catch the eye of the public darted between the thick forests. The fishy smell of blood began to smell when the shadow's distance from the battlefield was close.

A rogue looking arrogant showing off his ability to overthrow a warrior from the Eclipse Pack. All he needed to do was cut the warrior's airway before ending his life tragically. But before the rogue could finish off the warrior, a large wolf suddenly pounced on him until both of them rolled onto the ground with Rogue's head now knocked off and blood adorning the black wolf's muzzle before continuing his activities to take his life. Stefan stood straight like a predator ready to pounce on his prey. Some rogues looked unperturbed while others snarled back at the grim reaper. Without giving the slightest pause, Stefan immediately finished off any rogue that managed to get under his claws. Stevan mercilessly tore and tore the flesh and skin until thick red blood soaked almost all of his sturdy jaws.

With his previous abilities, Stevan was able to finish off a bunch of rogues in a matter of minutes, especially now. Mating really gives an extraordinary effect. Stefan's ability increased sharply far beyond previous estimates.

After killing the rogues who had taken their lives, Stefan turned to the several warriors who were there. There were minor scratches as well as serious injuries. They bowed respectfully before the Alpha who was emitting a domineering aura that was much stronger than before.
