Aya cuddled into the pillow, she moaned in contentment. Finally she gets to sleep, by the time she got home she could barley make it to her room. She was literally falling asleep in the shower, standing up. Mikah is evil, he definitly made her work out more than the one hour she was suppose to do. She suspects it was payback for breaking his nose, he is definitely a master and getting even with people. She started to does off thinking smelling the pillow that still have a faint scent of Cailin.

“Aja?”

What…Who was that? She wasn’t sure if she heard it, did someone call her? It sounded so far away.

An envelope of warmth surrounded her body. She cuddled the pillow closer, it smelled just like Cailin. I miss him so much.

“Aja?”

“Mmmh” is someone calling me?

Aja felt something soft and warm on her neck , she instinctively moved her head to better position, and felt it again

‘That feels nice’

“Aja? Are you awake princess?” is…that…Calian? She took a deep breath and could smell his scent, its stronger.

Mhmm, I love that smell

Wait…princess?

Aja forced her eyes too open even though it took all her concentration. She felt the warmth on her neck again. And she turned her head towards it, she finally opened her eyes fully to find a pair of Hazel looking back at her. She knows those eyes, she reached up to touch the eyelashes fanning around her favorite pair of eyes.

“I missed you princess” she heard his deep voice and it finally forced her fully awake. He’s here! Aja was convince it must have been a dream, but hes actually here. She turned around completely and snuggles into his big awaiting arms.

‘My favorite place in the world is right here.’

“I missed you so much” she said. She could feel her eyes watering.

What is wrong with me? Why am I crying. Stop it!

“Aja? What’s wrong?” he pulled back to look at her, searching for a problem. The worry was evident in his face and it make her chest feel full. “Baby talk to me” he added.

“I’m sorry” she sniffled trying to get herself together but a tear escaped down her cheek. “I am okay” she snuggles her face in his chest again.

She felt him hug her tighter placing kisses all over her head of hair. Then he pulled back enough to place his hand on her face to really look at her “Are you sure, did you have a nightmare?” he asked.

“No, really I’m okay” she smiled up at him “Sorry, I didn’t mean to start crying. I just…I’ve missed you so much, I didn’t realize how much. I wasn’t expecting to get to see you” she finished, nuzzling her face in his neck to cover her embarrassment.

“Aww my princess is sooo adorable” he cood as he hugged her tight, slightly rocking her in his arms. He pulled back to grab her face before placing a soft kiss on her lips. “I missed you too, so much baby” he kissed her again. She hugged him tighter afraid he might disappear on her again. He moved some of her hair away from her face to really look at her. “Goddess, I love you” he pressed his forehead to hers. “You look more beautiful everyday” he said.

Aja giggled “You…are always handsome” she says her eyes closed. Calian pressed another kiss to her lips “Really?”

She nodded her head “I missed looking at your face” she added, and could hear is soft chuckle “My face huh?” he responded, She just nodded her head with a smile.

‘I even missed the soft chuckle, only he has’ am I crazy?

“Calian, I don’t know if this is normal” she said her voice a bit shaky.

“What isn’t normal?” he asked her softly, he loved the feel of her hair, it was so soft. He continues to brush his fingers through her hair, waiting patiently for her to talk.

“I haven’t seen you for a week… and i-it feels like it's been longer. I….don’t like not being able to see you everyday. Is that normal? Like…. are other people able to go along time without seing each other and are fine?” she whispered. She felt Calian stop and pull back.

‘No it feels so good when he plays with my hair’

He pulled her up so they could lay at eye level and pulled her closer. He looked into her eyes as she blinked, he could tell she is fighting the sleep she obviously needs.

‘She’s forcing herself to stay awake just to spend a few minutes together’ knowing didn’t make him feel good.

He rubbed his thumb on her cheek “Princess I miss you everyday, I think about you when I should be focusing on work. I wonder if you had something to eat, if you are safe” he brushed his nose against hers. “I think its normal” he whispered and kissed her lips softly before pulling back to look into her eyes.

‘These eyes will be the death of me’

“But even if its not” he pulled her close “It’s not just you, because I feel the same way. I came home tonight expecting to have to settle for just being able to hold you close to me, like every other night. But I came in and I could here you mumbling, it made me so happy that I would fnanlly be able to see you and hear your voice and touch your face and see your eyes. I thought you were awake but I ended stoping you from going to sleep-”

“But I wanted to see you” she interjected” He smiled at her but she could see the sadness in it.
“I now baby, I wanted to see you too but this isn’t how I want it.” he said.

“So then what do we do? I know this is temporary so I can handle how things have to be for now. I do understand, and if this is the only option then this is what we will do” She said placing the palm of her hand on his chest over his heart. He didn’t realized how much comfort he gets from the simplest touch from her. But it’s not really a surprise, everything she does affects him.

No, they are both affected by how things are right now, what to do?

He took a deep breath “I don’t know what the solution is right now. But we will definitely include both of us being home by a specific time so we can go to sleep together.” he said.

She smiled and nodded her agreement “Yes, that one specifically” she placed another kiss on his lips, and snuggled closer into him.

“Am I your only princess?” she asked her eyes coming out as a whisper, her eyes half closed.

Calian squinted his eyes in confusion, ‘Why is this a question she’s asking?’

‘I just know Mikah has something to do with it’

“Yes princess, you are my one and only” he kissed her closed eyelids, she smiled still conscious enough to hear his word even though her eyes no longer stay open. “You have been and will continue to be my only princess, forever” he whispered in her ear.

“Good” it came out as a mumble but he still heard it, making him smile.

‘So cute’ he whispered, stealing one last kiss from her lips. Her arms wrapped around him tightly like a koala bear even fast asleep. He finds it comforting though, its like proof of how much she really missed him. He has been worried that the amount of time spent apart would make her over think and she would become uncomfortable around him again. Its gives him some peace to know that she feels the same way he does. He pulled her as close as possible and placed his forehead against her own drifting off to sleep soon after.
