Wenner Pov

I can’t believe what I am hearing. She thinks I am not happy because she thinks she is messed up. “I am not mad at her, and I am really happy that she is my mate” I started. “I just had to get out of there to calm myself so that I don’t scare anyone of them.” “I know, but she doesn’t see it that way, that dude messed up her trust in herself” he said. “When I find him, I will hurt him” I said to Dash. “Trust me everybody is behind you in that decision” Dash said with a small smile. “Well, we need to get back, I have to go and see my father and then go to my mate to explain to her everything” I said.

“I will go with you” he said. We both change back into our wolves and ran back to the pack house. When we arrived, we changed back into our human forms and walked towards my father’s office. I knocked on my dad’s office. “Come in, pup” my dad said. We both walked inside and sat across from my dad. “What happened to you today, pup” my father asked. “We told them a little of why Sky is so protective off herself and I think hearing all of that his wolf started to fight for control” Dash started.

“Oh, okay that make sense, but Wenner” my father started, “You and Lucan need to keep yourself under control, because if every time you hear a part of her story and you freak out, you will lose her completely.” “So, we will not have to show our anger at him or anything in front of her” Lucan asked. “No, I think what dad means if we have to be patient and calm around her so that she trusts us” I said to him. “You think you can control yourself” I asked him. “Yes, for my mate I will try” he replied. “Okay dad, we can try to control it” I replied. “Good, that is the best I can get out of you, now go and say sorry to your mother then go to your mate” my father said.

“Okay dad, love you see you later” I said. “Love you to pup” my father replied. Me and Dash then walked out. “Well, I am going to find my mother then go to Sky” I said to him. “Okay, I am going to find Mia, if you are done with your mother come and call me if you are going to your mate, I want to go and visit Uncle Jason and Aunty Silvia” he said. I nodded my head. We then went our separate ways. I went to search for my mother.

Sky pov

He left when he saw me, he looked so angry. Was he angry at me, because I didn’t spend time with him, because I haven’t talked to him. These thoughts filled my mind the whole day while I was at school. After school I went home alone.

“Hey baby girl, how was school” my dad asked me when I entered our home. “Hey dad” was all I said and went to my room. I placed my bag next to my door and went to lay down on my bed. He hates us, he won’t want us as his mate, were the thoughts filled my mind. “Sky don’t think like that, maybe there was a reason he was angry” Layla tried to talk to me. “But Lay, you saw how angry he was, and he was looking right at us” I told her. “There has to be a reason” she said softly. After that we both went quiet, and we were both in our own thoughts. I heard a knock on my door.

A few seconds later Dash entered my room. “Why are you here” I asked him quietly. He smiled softly at me and sat down next to me. “Wenner came here with me to see you” Dash said to me. “Does he want to tell me he doesn’t want me to be his mate” I asked. And just as I finished talking my door opened again. “No, I want to tell you why I was mad, and it was not because of you” Wenner said while standing in my door. “I will leave you to alone, is your brothers home” he asked me. “I don’t know, I didn’t come home with them, I came alone” I said.

He nodded his head and then walked out. It was quiet after that. “You can come inside” I said to him. “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable” he replied. I thought for a while. I then stood up and walked towards the door. “Then we can go and walk outside” I asked him. He nodded his head and let me walk first. We walked out of my house and to the forest at the back of the pack house. We walked for a while. “The packs look like the get along quiet well” I said to him.

“Yes, they do” he replied. “I was not angry at you; your brothers and Dash told me a little about your ex and let’s just say what me and Lucan heard made us angry and because I didn’t want you to see me like that, I ran to keep my cool until I got to the packhouse to the gym to let out some steam” he told me. “So that is why” Luna said. “Yeah, I guess” I replied. “Now you make me like I was stupid” I said to him.

“No, I should have told you before running off like that” he said. “I should’ve probable asked before just assuming things” I said to him. We both then laughed. He then went quiet for a moment. “Sorry I have to go and do pack training” he said. I smiled at him and off he went. We he was gone, I walked back to the main house, to see if I can find my friends.
