85. Bad Sign
This time on the police patrol, Bob and Tom were accompanied by two female Lycans. More and more cases of murder by vampires made them patrol that day. It's true as they expected. They had only been on patrol for a while and the wild vampires had attacked them.
The vampires realized that the police they were attacking were with two Lycan girls and started to run away, but it wasn't that easy. Emely and Samantha quickly caught them one by one.
Craaat!
Bob managed to kill one vampire while the two ran away and were chased by Serena and Samantha. Tom, who was in the car seat, was seen struggling when a male vampire grabbed his leg.
“It seems like you are the weakest among the others! I will prey on you!" said the vampire.
“You say I'm weak? You underestimate me, damn you!"
Tom took the dagger from his trouser pocket and stuck it in the vampire's back. The vampire groaned in pain and immediately let go.
“How dare you!”
Tom immediately stood up, his face serious, and took the gun.
"Ha ha ha! You're so stupid! I can't be fooled by just a gun!" he said arrogantly.
"Really? Just try it!
Bang!
Tom fired a shot and the bullet flew straight into the vampire's head. The vampire saw something different about Tom's bullet, the tip glowed gold.
“Argh!” the vampire's head was shot off. Not saying much, the vampire lay down and died.
“You look down on firearms too much! You didn't even know this weapon had been specially modified to hurt vampires!"
Bob and Samantha, who had also finished overcoming their opponents, were surprised by Tom's style, who looked much more confident. The man walked casually back to the patrol car, sat in the back, and closed the door again.
"Let's go from here!" he shouted, apparently still afraid.
“Man, I thought he was braver with vampires. It turns out it's still the same!” Bob answered.
“Humph!” Samantha couldn't help but sigh.
Serena rejoined after checking the area, the girl felt something bad close to them.
“I smell death over there!” Serene said.
“Are there any dead people there?” Bob asked.
"It seems so, but it's just a little strange!” Serena wonder.
"What's that?"
"I don't smell a vampire!"
"Okay, let's check it out!" said Bob.
Bob was driving his patrol car, then started hearing screams and footsteps of someone running.
“Monsters!” he shouted.
“Stop the car here! I'll check it out!” Serena said.
The girl came out, approaching the source of the chaos but the thick darkness was visible. A black wind blew around a thin woman with a skeleton-like body. Her skin began to change after she sucked the life out of a human.
“Gosh! What is that creature? It's not a vampire!” Serena muttered.
“Is that the creature that Miss Rabbeca said yesterday?” Samantha answered standing next to Serena.
“Oh, shit! So scary! Come on Samantha!”
The two of them jumped quickly to face the terrible creature.
“Stop it! Why are you killing humans?” shouted Serena.
“Lycans! Get out of my way, I have nothing to do with your people!" said Abere.
"No way!" replied Samantha who immediately took out her claws and scratched Abere.
Shut!
Abere dodged, she climbed to the top of the building, and left.
“She ran away! Tch, damn!” shouted Serena.
Tom and Bob saw it all from a distance, they were horrified by the victims who were reduced to dust.
"Good grief! What was that, before the vampire problem is over, there's another new monster! How about this Bob, should we just stop working?" said Tom feeling horrified.
“Fyuuh! This time I'm starting to agree with you, Tom! Our current enemy couldn't be handled with a neck protector! The victims even turned to dust," answered Bob weakly when he saw the victims there.
“We have to report to Arthur! Hurry up!” said Tom.
Tom returned to his car, making a report to his superiors that the location they had arrived at had many civilian casualties. It turns out that the same thing as the two of them, the location where the patrol police went was also attacked by vampires, and several police officers even became victims.
“This is bad! The vampires seem to want to attack our people. We have to be more alert!” Tom explained after making a report to his boss.
"It could be that when we sound the sirens the vampires will come closer! It's bad!"
"We'll just turn off the siren, we'll go around again until morning!" Tom answered.
"Okay!"
"Emm__ are they both coming with us?"
"Yes, I'll come with you! I still smell vampires around here! So never let your guard down!” Serena, who heard Bob and Tom's conversation, immediately chimed in.
The four of them finally got back into the car, Serena had a pretty strong sense of smell when it came to vampires. She immediately invited the police into a bar.
"There are vampires here, but this smell sounds familiar to me!" Samantha said.
"Yes, you're right! Look over there!”
In the bar, which was quite empty, Joe was seen sitting, drinking with someone. He immediately noticed the four of them and smiled.
“Two cops and two Lycans! Are you guys on patrol?” said Joe who looked pale.
"No wonder, he is Joe!" said Samantha.
“Why are you so pale, Joe?” Bob asked.
"It's okay," answered Joe, still weak.
A vampire man beside him was seen watching them, it was clear that the man was a pro-human.
"Um, should we get out of here Mr. Blavatnik?" asked Gustav.
"No need, I'm still waiting for her!" said Joe who waiting for Barbara.
"The girl doesn't know you're hurt, we should just go!"
“I want to say goodbye to her! Wait a moment!"
A beautiful woman came, her beautiful and luxurious makeup had become Barbara Berkowski's trademark. Lycan and the police sitting beside them began to observe the two's interactions.
"Joe, apparently you invited a lot of friends!" Barbara looked at the full bar table.
"I only invited Gustav, the police, and the lady was a date!"
“Ah, the police huh? Hey, police and emm__are you on a double date?" Barbara asked looking at the two beautiful girls with them.
“They're Drex's fellow! Female lycan!” said Joe.
The four people were shocked when Joe mentioned Drex's name.
"You know Drex?" they asked in unison.
"Yup! I was with him all day! Sorry guys I wanted some private time!” Joe answered, standing up and taking Barbara's hand into the staff room.
“Wait a minute, are they dating? Isn't that girl human?” asked Bob.
"Joe doesn't want to eat her, right?" asked Tom.
"Don't think badly of our Master, he is the kindest vampire to humans. Even if he is hungry or in the worst condition, he will never prey on humans!” explained Gustav.
"Ah, I see, but there are lots of wild vampires out there!" asked Bob to Gustav.
“We will handle it! The pro-human vampires are out there hunting too!” answered Gustavo.
In the staff room, Joe hugs Barbara, she looks very weak.
"What happened to you? Are you hurt?” she asked.
“Yeah, I'm hurt! But don't worry I'll recover soon! I have something to tell you!”
"Yes, say it!"
“We will go to war tomorrow! Pro-human vampires and wild vampires. So stay careful as long as I'm not here!” said Joe.
“Oh, that's bad! You're even injured right now! Joe, I don't want anything bad to happen to you!" said Barbara.
“Calm down! I will be fine! I just want to see my lover today!” said Joe, rubbing Barbara's cheek gently.
"I love you, Joe,"
"If only you knew, a thousand words of love would not be able to match my feelings for you!" Joe answered.
“Emm__take care of yourself!”
The two of them kissed very passionately, while Serena and Samatha, who could still hear the conversation within reach of their super ears, were blushing and smiling.
“Very romantic, huh! Should I just date a pro-human vampire?” Samantha said to Serena.
"Hihihi, even if I say a thousand words of love, they won't represent my love for you! Hahaha, those are the most ridiculous words I've ever heard!” replied Serena, who had a different opinion.
“That's romantic!” said Samantha.
"No! That's tacky!”
“You don't know about poetry! It's literary and it's romantic!” Samantha said.
“Sounds ridiculous to my ears!” said Serena.
“You suck!” replied Samantha.
“At least I have a boyfriend! You don't!" said Serena.
“That's because I have taste and you don't!” replied Samantha.
"A moment! What do you mean my boyfriend is not worthy? You're being rude!” Serena started to protest.
“Who said that? You decide for yourself!”
“Sorry, ladies, why do you sound so noisy? What is the problem?" asked Bob, seeing the strange behavior of the two of them.
"It's nothing, we were just discussing!" Serena answered.
"Let's get out of here, we have to prepare for tomorrow!" Samantha answered.
"Tomorrow? What event is there tomorrow?" Bob asked.
“Something we must prepare! Let's go, Bob, I'll explain everything later!” asked Serena to immediately take her lover's hand.
"Okay!"

Arthur, who received a report from his men, patrolled longer that night. The night wind was very cold, the moonlight couldn't even be seen.
Arthur drove through a quiet neighborhood in a patrol car, he stopped because he saw something. A fight broke out, not a fight between vampires and humans, but vampires with vampires. It seems Joe Blavatnik's men, who are pro-human vampires, have started to move. They fought it out and Arthur just watched from a distance.
Shut!
A flying vampire stood in front of the car and blocked the car. The man pointed to the side of the road as if telling Arthur to turn around and leave. Her clothes look elegant like a royal courtier.
“Humph! Alright, just go about your business!" muttered Arthur who finally chose to turn his car around.
He returned to the city of San Louis, the city was now very quiet. Some residents began to flee, going to places they felt safe from vampire attacks. He walked down the city street, but he saw a bar that was still operating even though other places were closed.
He wanted to check but he saw Bob and Tom coming out of there with two beautiful girls.
“They take women on patrol? Really?!" Arthur thought, wanting to reprimand him, but before he got out of his car, he heard something noisy.
Serena saw something in the distance and immediately jumped very high. Arthur was amazed but Samantha did the same thing. The beautiful girl jumped up to the top of one of the empty buildings and observed something in the sky.
"What's wrong, Serena?" asked Samantha.
"Oh no! I hope this isn't a sign of a nightmare!”
Hordes of bats filled the sky of the city of San Louis moving from the north, while some moved from the south.
"Is this a sign of the vampire war?" Serena guessed.
“I think everything we heard just now is true! They will go to war tomorrow! We also have to prepare Serena. "We'll report it to Miss Rabbeca first," said Samantha.
"Okay! Let's go!"
Samantha immediately left without saying goodbye, while Serena was still waving at Bob.
"I go first!" she shouted.
"Okay!" Bob answered while shouting.
Bob and Tom see many bats circling in the San Louis sky, they immediately get in the car and drive away, Arthur following them. Both of them wanted to return to the office.
"It looks like the patrol car behind us is following us," guess Bob.
"Yes, you're right. Is that Commissioner Arthur?” asked Tom.
“Yeah, right! Let's just pull over!”
Bob opened his car window and let the man approach.
"Do you know anything about the bat phenomenon?" asked Arthur.
“Gather our team, Sir! There will be a vampire war tomorrow! We have to prepare!” Bob explained.
“Blavatnik is starting to move! Okay! We have to strategize!” said Arthur.
"Yes, Sir!"

Similar to the police, the Lycans also gathered under Rabbeca's leadership and James began to strategize. Drex the Alpha sat in the middle with a serious face.
"This time we help the pro-human vampires!" said Rabbeca.
“But are you sure about that? What if they betray? We haven't gotten along with them for a long time!" replied James.
“Let's help Joe and be pro-Human! After all, this time is our last battle in the human world, guys! I feel like the portal connecting the Lycan world and the human world is getting narrower. So we help the vampires who keep the population in check! Not the best!" said Drex to the fellow.
"Yes, Alpha,"
“Alpha, today we saw a skeleton-like woman who was sucking human energy. Not a vampire, she is more dangerous!”
“That's it! Abere, a cursed elf! "That woman is dangerous, She's different from vampires, her whereabouts are hard to find!"
"I'll block her!" said Samantha.
"Don't be careless if you see her, this creature could suck the life out of you! She is not a creature we can predict!” Drex answered.
"Yes, Alpha,"
"Our task tomorrow is to help protect civilians together with the police so that no victims fall because of vampires!"
"Yes, Alpha,"
The Lycans, who are no longer very numerous in the human world, made a deal to help the pro-human vampires. They gather much earlier and mingle with the community.

The police have been busy since morning, they are keeping people as far away as possible from where the bats congregate. Some people believe that it is where the bats gather that the fight will take place.
Drex transformed into a small wolf sneaking between the crowd of evacuees and the police officers. He sat quietly while watching the bats fly more and more.
“Woff! Woof!” Drex started barking.
“What are you doing, puppy?” Arthur said while stroking Drex's head.
Arthur didn't know about Drex, while as far as Drex knew, the police commissioner was a terrible man. Instead, he sat next to little Drex rubbed him, and started talking to him.
“You want to get rid of all the bats, huh? I'm annoyed with them too! Very annoying!" said Arthur.
“Woof!”
Like a little dog, Drex was still barking.
"Your fur is very soft, your posture is also good, why do I feel that you look more like a wolf than just a dog, huh?" Arthur muttered observingly.
“Woof!”
“Hihi, you're so cute! Are you wild? If you were wild and no one looked after you, I would want to keep you a little dog!"
“Woof!”
“Hihi, smart dog!”
“Woof! Woof!”
Drex started to get noisy, he wanted to let Arthur know that evil vampires were starting to come to the area. Slowly, one by one, the black mist turned into a vampire with a pale face with blood smeared along his lips, his form was already terrifying, far from the pro-human vampires who looked elegant with handsome and beautiful human forms.
Joe, the leader of the pro-human vampires, was standing on top of a parked car. He glanced at Arthur who was sitting opposite a small black dog.
“Humph! You two get along well!” said Joe.
