Chapter 29 Beauty Saved the Hero!
Those few words turned Alex's face a shade of green.
Staring at Arlo intently, it took him a while before he sneered, "Sharp-tongued! I hope when I knock your teeth out later, you'll still be this tough."
Arlo's mouth curled with sarcasm, "I'm not just tough in words, there are other parts of me that are tough too, otherwise, Ms. Marsh wouldn't have chosen me over you! Hahaha!"
"Damn it!" Alex was so angry he wanted to crash the helicopter into Arlo. With bloodshot eyes, he roared at the thugs surrounding Arlo, "What are you waiting for? Grab him!"
The thugs on the deck dared not hesitate upon hearing Alex's order and immediately prepared to act.
As soon as Arlo saw Alex, he quietly dialed the old-fashioned phone in his pocket.
Although he didn't speak to the driver, Arlo believed he should be able to sense that the situation wasn't good for him right now.
With such a large helicopter, he didn't believe the driver couldn't see.
Although they were strangers, some people make you involuntarily trust them, feeling that the other party is reliable.
The driver gave Arlo that feeling, and the reason for bantering with Alex was only to buy time.
Seeing the thugs rushing towards him, Arlo angrily pulled out the old-fashioned phone and shouted, "Stop right there! I dare anyone to move!"
"I'll tell you the truth! When I came up, I already planted three bombs on the ship! You can come up and try if you want, we'll all die together!"
"If I can bury you along with Mr. Fox, I'll be satisfied!"
While Arlo was buying time, outside the dock, car headlights flickered as motorcycles of various shapes and sizes drove up.
Leading the pack was a knight wearing a tight pink helmet and a tight leather suit. Judging from her voluptuous figure, she was a female knight.
The taxi driver received Arlo's call and heard what he said on the phone, thinking about calling for help.
But when he saw the female knight approaching, he smiled.
Rolling down the window, when the heavy motorcycle came to a stop next to him with a rumble, he spoke with a smile, "Good daughter, why are you here? Want to play on the ship?"
The pink helmet was taken off, revealing a stunning face.
Her smooth forehead gleamed like porcelain, her tall nose, rosy cherry lips, and a pair of sparkling peach blossom eyes were full of smiles.
Casually gathering her tousled waves behind her ears, she tied a simple ponytail and smiled, "Dad, a girl asked for my help in saving someone. As for you, how did you end up here?"
The woman's voice was crisp and pleasant, but her tone was very bold.
Looking at his daughter, who had grown into a beauty, the driver's eyes were full of nostalgia, "Just brought a guest over. Need my help?"
"No need!" The female knight waved her hand casually and waved to the people behind her, "I'm your daughter, why would I need your help in such a small scene? Let's go!"
With that said, the female knight twisted the throttle, and the heavy motorcycle roared as it charged towards the pier.
Dozens of motorcycles behind her also roared and followed suit.
...
Hearing about the bombs, everyone dared not move.
Alex ordered his men to inspect the ship and stared icily at Arlo, waiting for his men's report.
A few minutes later, a burly security guard responsible for safety on the cruise ship walked up to Alex and whispered, "Mr. Fox, we've checked, and there are no bombs for now."
Alex gave him a cold glance, "Are you sure?"
The sturdy man nodded, "Sure, I reckon this lad mentioned the bomb just to scare folks."
"Got it." Alex squinted, looking at Arlo, suddenly chuckled, "Quit pretending, my folks have already searched, there's no bomb on the ship!"
Arlo hadn't expected this guy to act so fast; he cursed the taxi driver in his heart, dragging things out for so long, where were all those promised friends?
Damn it, middle-aged men couldn't be trusted with their boasting.
Boom!
Just as he finished speaking, a loud roar echoed, growing louder and closer.
The next moment, a heavy motorcycle descended from above, a handsome drift landing in front of Arlo and Skyler.
Seeing the pretty face of the female knight, even though Arlo was used to beautiful women, he was still momentarily stunned by the astonishing beauty before him.
Involuntarily, he glanced downwards, just one glance, and Arlo felt his heart racing.
With a well-proportioned figure and those long, straight legs wrapped in leather pants, she could easily steal someone's soul.
Quietly estimating the height of the female knight, she must be around six feet tall, right?
Arlo suddenly felt a bit disheartened; he realized his five-foot-ten stature didn't quite measure up to the female knight.
Just as he was thinking, the female knight smiled faintly and spoke, "You must be Arlo?"
"I am... may I ask..."
"Lydia." Before Arlo could finish his sentence, the female knight interrupted him, straightforwardly stating her name.
Upon hearing Lydia's name, Arlo suddenly realized; this female knight in front of him was the energetic sister Lydia had mentioned?
Just as he pondered, motorcycles drove onto the deck.
"Aya... Aya Moss?" Alex, recognizing the face of the female knight, had a bewildered expression.
Aya turned to Alex, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, "What's your name again? Alex, right? Forgot what you should call me?"
Alex's face turned red, his mouth opening and closing without uttering a word.
Aya lifted her leg off the motorcycle; those legs wrapped in leather were both beautiful and powerful.
"Need me to help you remember?" Aya raised an eyebrow.
Alex, with a constipated expression, reluctantly muttered, "Goddess..."
Though Alex's voice wasn't loud, Arlo still heard it.
His heart trembled for a moment, almost thinking he misheard.
Alex actually called this incredibly beautiful woman in front of him "Goddess"?
Aya raised an eyebrow, walked straight to Alex, and looked down at him with a sneer, "What, weakened by too many women? With such a weak voice, who can hear you?"
Alex finally blurted out, "Goddess!"
"Good boy." Aya chuckled, pulling out a candy from somewhere, "Have some candy."
Alex resisted inwardly, but eventually took the candy, unwrapped it, and popped it into his mouth.
Aya patted his face, "Since you're being so obedient, I, as your Goddess, will spare you some dignity today."
Pausing for a moment, she pointed to Arlo and Skyler behind her, "I'll take these two, any problem?"
"N-no problem." Alex managed to squeeze out a few words from between his teeth.
Satisfied, the incredibly beautiful mature woman turned around, straddled the motorcycle, and said to Arlo, who hadn't quite grasped the situation yet, "Take your friends and go!"
With that, she twisted the throttle, and the roar of the heavy motorcycle was deafening as she and the bike shot off like an arrow.
When their feet touched the uneven cement road, Skyler asked, "Arlo, do you know Ms. Moss?!"
"If I knew her, would I need to come and rescue you myself?" Arlo shook his head. Aya, this extraordinary mature woman, had truly brought him quite a shock.
Even the arrogant Alex didn't dare to make a sound in front of Aya, and Alex even called her "Goddess."
He wanted to be someone like Aya!
Skyler's expression was complicated, "Do you know who she is?"
