Chapter 21 Home
Ayra’s POV
The days passed, and the time to leave the camp finally arrived.
Checking back the time I had spent in this camp I probably spent fifty percent of my time on work and the other fifty percent fucking Justin and Mike.
I walked to the medical center, with a document in hand. On my way I encountered Philip, the last person I wanted to see.
He smiled as he approached me.
“Hey, Ayra,” he said.
My face turned sour. I placed my hand on my waist and stared at him. “What do you want, Philip?” I asked.
He flashes his white teeth at me, “Can we at least talk before I tell you what I want?” he asked.
I smirked. I lacked the time, or rather, I lacked the desire to talk to him.
I sighed heavily. Since it marked the last day of work, I decided to have a casual conversation with him.
My gaze sized him up, “Okay,” I said. Then we walked together to the chair under the tree.
I sat and placed my documents on my lap. “How have you been, Ayra?” he asked while facing me.
“I’m good, as you can see, Philip,” I said, emphasizing his name.
He chuckled softly. “Now tell me, what do you want?” I asked with a serious expression.
“You know what I want, Ayra. You just refuse to give it, and I don’t understand why,” he said.
I twisted my finger in my palm as frustration ate deep into my bones. Did he really try to bait me? Did he seriously not know why I refused to let him fuck me?
I smirked and stared deep into his eyes. “You seriously don’t know why?” I asked.
He shook his head and wore his stupid, proud smile. “You know I will treat you well if you allow me,” he said. He placed his hand on my arm.
I scoffed and slapped his hand away. “You cannot treat me well,” I said with a stiff face.
His expression changed, as he looked mad. “Why? Is it because of Mike and Justin?” he suddenly asked.
My eyes widened. How did he know? I corrected myself; our public trysts around the camp made it obvious.
He laughed sarcastically, stood up, and ran his hand through his hair. “You think I don’t know how they fuck you at every given opportunity?” he yelled.
I took a sharp breath and let him continue. “You let them fuck you anywhere, Ayra. You might not know but I saw you behind the door during work hours, getting fucked while you moaned like a cheap slut,” he said, a vein popping out of his neck.
I folded my arms across my chest. “So what?” I asked.
He opened his mouth to speak, but I stood up. “So what if I let them fuck me?” I asked.
“You still don't get it. What do they have that I don’t?” Philip snapped.
I sneered and walked closer to him. Each word hit harder than the last. “Because they can fuck the hell out of me. And you?” I looked at his crotch.
“I doubt that tiny thing between your legs can satisfy a hen,” I spat.
I glared at him, turned, and walked out. I left him standing, frozen like a statue.
I walked faster to the office and knocked gently. A militant voice rang out, “Come in.”
I walked in and bowed slightly before I placed the documents on the desk.
“Okay, you can go,” the lady behind the desk said with a smile.
I smiled back, turned, and walked out. I went straight to my room. People already stood outside, placing their luggage in the truck.
My phone beeped. I looked down at the notification. “I will wait at the entrance for you,” Justin messaged.
I chuckled and entered my room. I carried my luggage out. Beside the door, I glanced at my room one last time.
I smiled bitterly. I knew I would miss this room and every memory I created in it.
I sighed heavily, slammed the door shut, and dragged my luggage with me.
I saw Justin standing beside the car. I prepared to move forward, but then I saw Mike walking towards me.
“Hey,” I whispered.
He smiled, wrapped his arms around me, and hugged me tightly.
“I will miss you,” he uttered.
I smiled and patted his back. “I will miss you the most,” I said as I pulled away.
He raised his brow. “Well, I won’t let you miss me for too long,” he said with a smirk.
I licked my lips and stared at his face. “Is that what I’m thinking?” I asked.
He winked at me. “It is, baby. I plan to relocate to your city,” he mumbled.
I hit his chest. “You’re joking, right?” I batted my lashes at him.
He laughed and held my hand. “Why would I joke about you?” he asked with a serious gaze.
My eyes lit up, and I jumped into his embrace. “Oh my god!” I squealed.
He held my waist. I pulled away and said, “It’s a done deal then. I will wait for you.”
He nodded. I picked up my luggage and watched him walk away.
Heat rushed to my face. I shook my head and turned. I saw a smiling Justin walking towards me.
On getting closer to me, “Let’s go, sis,” Justin said. He carried my luggage to the truck.
I smiled with a nod, then I rubbed my palms together and took out my phone to text Bianca.
“Hey, babe. I’m coming back to town today. You better get ready; we have a lot to catch up on!” I slid the phone into my pocket, walked to the other side of the car, and climbed in.
The car jerked, Justin sat beside me and held my hand. During the smooth ride, thoughts of all the fun at the camp flashed through my mind.
I smiled. I couldn't wait for the adventures ahead.
