Chapter 25: The False Sisters' Fight
Chapter 25: The False Sisters' Fight
“Ashley, I’m glad you have your own motorcycle now, but I don’t have room for you to live here.”
Blake said, much to my astonishment and Ashley’s astonishment, who looked at me.
“But there’s room for her!”
Blake looked at me and defended me: “She was my mistake, I turned her into a vampire against her will. I feel I have to protect her and help her in this difficult situation. Besides, you have a place to live, the Pink Mansion, did you forget?”
“I know, but my dog is taking care of everything there, so I decided to leave her in charge of the Mansion, and I came to live here with you. I want to learn how to ride a motorcycle, who better to teach me than you, Blake?!”
“Your brother can help you.”
Ryan had come close to us, with his motorcycle. “I'll teach you how to ride, Ashley!”
“Get out of here, Ryan!” Ashley shouted, scaring her brother away.
“Biker 33 is out there, I want to help hunt him! You may not let me live here, Blake, but you can’t stop me from being a Blade-hunting biker!”
Ashley said.
Blake, despite being fearless in running and facing blades, was a sensitive being towards women, all it took was a cry and that was it, he had already won his attention, thank goodness Ashley didn't know that. Blake was moved by her and finally said: "Okay Ashley, I understand, if you want to train with us, you're welcome, but I would like you to apologize to Erika, for abandoning her when she needed it, a Sisterhood is to help colleagues when they need it most."
Reluctantly, Ashley looked at me, smiled falsely and said:
“O.K! Erika, I’m sorry I don’t have room for you at the Pink Mansion because of my little dog. I know that turning into a vampire is a challenge and I couldn’t give you the support you needed, but I’m sorry, friend!”
I looked at Blake who looked back at me, hoping I would forgive Ashley. His gaze was like that of a father who sees two daughters fighting and asks them to make up. And the sisters pretend to do so, to avoid more scolding from their father, but deep down they know who is right and wrong. So, like a fake sister, I forgave her:
“I understand, and I forgive you for not having room for me in the Pink Mansion. Welcome to Blake's motorcycle club!”
Ashley realized my falseness, Blake didn't! Blake is a man, a three hundred year old vampire, but still a man! He didn't realize the aura of a battle of women that was happening in front of him, or worse, for him. OK, I didn't love Blake, I had no intention of being with him, I found him handsome and beautiful? Yes! What woman wouldn't find a man with pure white hair beautiful? But I had no intention of stealing him from Ashley, but she disturbed me so much that I decided to enter the Preppy War, and finish off that bitch.
Blake was pleased with our false peace. We continued training. Ashley demonstrated great skill with her motorcycle. While I was resting, I saw Ryan drinking water in a corner, from a green cup, and I approached him:
“Your sister is skilled with a motorcycle, does it run in the family?”
“No! I trained her. It’s been a while. But because she’s a vampire, she learns faster, it’s some kind of skill you have.”
I looked at him and realized he wasn’t transformed.
“And you, didn’t you want to be a vampire?”
He smiled. “When I found out that vampires existed, I confess I was impressed, but I like to ride during the day. Blake leads a group of vampire bikers, I'm on probation, that is, I might one day become a vampire, but it's not Blake who bites, it's another guy, and I don't know, I don't want to let a man bite my neck.”
“Even if with that I gain abilities and immortal life?”
“Even with these benefits. I like walking during the day. Thinking about it, I really never want to be a vampire.”
“I didn’t want to either, but I would have been done for if it weren’t for that damn biker 33.”
Ryan, for some reason, choked on the water, which spilled between us.
“I’m sorry for what I did…”
He tried to clean us up, and when his cell phone rang inside his training suit, he made a gesture that he wanted to be alone. I saw that I was being a nuisance and started my bike and got back on the track.
I was already getting the hang of it. I could already do tricks on my own, without Blake. But now on the track I had an enemy as company.
Ashley found her dark/pink bike next to mine.
Blake's track was a closed circuit. So we would go around the same place.
Suddenly a rivalry arose between Ashley and me. No one decreed it, no one suggested it, it just emerged, we started competing to see who was the best on the bike.
As if by instinct, the other guys on the track, including Blake, started to move away from the track.
When I realized it, we were already alone, competing.
At first, she had the advantage. But at other times, I had the advantage. Why? Because I had learned how to do tricks with Blake, and I had been practicing them for some time.
When I passed a dirt ramp, I managed to do a somersault with the motorcycle. The people who were watching as an audience went crazy, screaming, whistling and applauding for me.
I didn't see what was going on inside Ashley's helmet, but she must have been seething with rage. And that gave me more courage to speed up.
When our two bikes met side by side, Ashley made a very suspicious movement that caused me to lose my balance and consequently fall.
Blake ran to help me up. I nodded that everything was okay.
Ashley stopped her bike, removed her helmet, fluttered her hair like a shampoo commercial and placed the helmet on her waist, the favorite pose of ten out of ten bikers and said to me:
“Sorry, friend! I lost my balance! The motorcycle is new, I’m getting used to it. Did you hurt yourself?”
“No!” I said firmly, angrily. “I’m a vampire now, getting hurt is just a scratch to me.”
Blake grabbed me by the shoulders and said in front of everyone:
“Congratulations, Erika Mina! Your moves are great. I’m proud to know that I was the one who taught you this.”
“Thank you, Blake!” I said, looking deep into the eyes of that bitch Ashley. Blake showed me to enter his mansion. “Let’s take a dose of blood, it will help restore our strength.”
I agreed. I turned around and took advantage of the fact that Blake was holding me by the shoulder, I put my hand on his waist, he gave me that freedom. I looked back and saw Ashley's envious face, I wanted to have said to her:
WELCOME TO THE WAR OF THE PREPPY GIRLS! I'VE ALREADY WON THIS FIRST BATTLE!
